My experience with the firm, including Carla Clarke and Heidi Myers in particular, was nothing short of excellent. Of course, nobody seeks legal counsel because of happy circumstances - which makes empathy, patience, sound and thorough guidance, and attention to detail all the more helpful, if not critical. Flynn & Clarke showed all of these in spades and were pivotal in supporting me through challenging circumstances and ultimately in securing an equitable, positive outcome where my case was concerned. I never felt pressured toward one avenue or another, and while it was a business relationship that involved (a very fair and reasonable amount of) monetary consideration, that never felt at the forefront; if anything, it was made clear that the goal was to avoid dragging things out to pad fees. Gave very little if any actual legal help. I spoke to him maybe 5 times in 6 months. No pre hearing prep. He only got 2 stars because he occasionally answered questions that I had. I was sent incorrect information several times including the wrong address and time for my hearing. Absolutely would suggest another option for your workman’s comp case. He will collect your money and send you on your way

Mr. Crum handled my son's accident case. I will tell you, he is amazing, knows what he is doing without a doubt and does not hesitate to keep you informed. This case too a long time which was no fault of his but he kept me informed every step of the way. He does not sugar coat anything so you know exactly what is going on. We had a custody case with Mr. Rolle in August of 2017 and we are so happy we hired him! We instantly felt at ease with him. Also, he must have an excellent paralegal on staff. She seems to have done most of our paperwork (under his supervision/direction) and that was great for us! The custody order and other stuff was very well written and because he used his paralegal so wisely the billing to us was far less than we were expecting it to be. It was a huge relief for us. We’d had another lawyer before him who did things badly and was gouging us with the billing, so our final bill from this firm was a huge relief. They deducted the bill from our retainer and returned it in a reasonable amount of time.
Also, when the other party was ready to settle (very much in our favor), because of life circumstances, Mr. Rolle’s Law firm was able to get the new custody order written up very quickly. I think it was only a couple of days and that included some revisions that we sent in after the fact. That was important because we were concerned the other party might change their mind.
We would definitely hire Mr. Rolle again.

Mr. Rolle does not take just any case. Even though he could easily do this to increase his billable hours, that is not his style. He is to the point, and cares about keeping legal costs down. I have recommended this firm to two of my friends and anticipate I will recommend them again if the opportunity arises. He was brilliant in how he drafted the complaint filed against my opponent and fiercely protected my legal interests.

Mr. Rolle is professional, kind, and did a fabulous job representing me in my divorce/custody case. He listened to me and worked effectively to get the best resolution for me and my children. Efficient. No time is wasted getting to the facts and resolution. She also asks what outcome you want, given that there is usually room for interpretation and more than one option and give you her perspective on the likelihood of achieving that outcome. A great resource to have on retainer, just in case.

I called in to explain a particularly egregious landlord retaliation issue and the intake person cared not to listen to understand. Instead they listened to respond and interrupted my explanation to ask questions that would be answered if they just listened. As it is now I would not use Lusk Law until they get someone to do intake that cares about your problems.

If you are a mother and get her appointed as your child's best interest attorney through the courts you are in for it. This woman is a father's rights Activest. She is against women and needs to be taken out of the Frederick county court system immediately. She basically tells you that you can not show your child love because it hurts the fathers feelings. She will only pay attention to what you do as a mother and nit pick everything.

I met Elizabeth Conklyn in the summer of 2013 after a friend recommended her to me. This lawyer was recommended by two close friends. Upon meeting her for the first time her manner was cold and her communications abrupt. After showing her my legal documents she berated me and said there was not much she could do to help me. As my 16 year marriage was crumbling and coming to a painful end , I definitely did not need this.My purpose and goal of this review is to hopefully spare someone else from this type of treatment especially at such a vulnerable and stressful time in their lives.

Contacted her in late 2023 for a consultation regarding a pending case I had. She offered to review my information and my case. I sent her my documents and then waited. Heard nothing back for a couple weeks. Technically I wasn't in a rush at the time, but was surprised not to hear anything back. Contacted her office to later hear she was on an extended vacation. Uhm okay… so several weeks later when my case was coming up in court, I tried checking back with her. Not only did she claim she didn't have my docments (which she later found), she them claimed it was my fault for not checking in earlier and reminding her.

I was contacted by Ms. Wieseman and she was rude during the call. She asked me like 10 questions, very incoherent, didn’t get me a chance to answer her questions. The questions she asked were all over the place. She asked me who served me with paperwork, I said the Frederick Constable. She yelled andtold me it was the Sheriff. I told he wasn’t a Sheriff Officer it was a Constable. She then told me I don’t know what I am talking about. I need to read the paperwork. Then yelled some more, don’t know what she was saying. Then finally hung up the call.

Ms. Wiseman did not do anything at the court besides notify the majesty her introduction to the case. After the case was changed to another day, she demanded more money and informed me that she didn't want to continue the case because it was too complicated for her. The case was only to receive the dates for hearings. Very unprofessional and rude.

I am on probation for a drug charge. I recently was an idiot and got a theft charge. I went to a lawyer I used in the past and told him my issue, went over it all for about an hour and a half and he came up with something but very high chances of a violation and jail time. Decided to try a different lawyer specializing in my issues. Talk to weddle for literally 10 minutes and he had a game plan immediately. Court came around had a few postponements. But the end result everything was dropped no charges no violation just a 500$ restitution. He really knows how to play the game and is respected in the court house.

Selected Poffenbarger and Weddle after speaking to 3 other attorneys two of which indicated if I didn't retain them I should go with this firm. Poffenbarger is an institution in Frederick County Maryland criminal defense. Originally made an appt to meet with Poffenbarger but was seen by Chad Weddle due to the death of Poffenbarger's mother. After meeting my understanding was I had retained Poffenbarger but this was not the case. Charge was felony theft. During discussion I told Weddle I was not particularly interested in fighting the charge but would like it reduced to a misdemeanor. My primary goal was no jail time. As the sole support of my family and a sole proprietor jail would destroy my business. He stated this was entirely possible and we moved forward. After two postponements we were assigned a judge he felt was acceptable and the ADA agreed to a misdemeanor. One week before court I called and requested a meeting to go over everything and make sure he had all the info he needed. He said everything was in place and it was not necessary. In court when my case was called he did absolutely nothing for me. He said not one word to the judge about me or my circumstances. He offered no mitigating factors and basically hung me out to dry. It did not even appear that he knew me. I was sentenced to 90 days in jail and taken away. In my opinion Chad Weddle was not prepared for my case and did not provide effective and aggressive representation. He apologized to my wife and returned our fee. Unfortunately this is too little too late in our case!

Mr. Robinson has been my lawyer for the last 5 years. I have a very difficult case and he leads me through all process throughout the court system. My wife contacted Mr. Robinson's office to see if he would be a good attorney for a matter involving a bank breaching a settlement agreement since he advertises that he specializes in consumer law. We were scheduled for a consultation, but when I emailed him to ask about why his initial consultation fee of $300 was so high and explained to him that no other attorneys I have spoken to or used in the past have ever required an exorbitant fee for an initial consultation and asked if he offered a free consultation, he emailed me back telling me that he closed my file because of my question and said that I could certainly seek free legal services if I wanted free advice. I emailed him back to explain that I was not asking him to close my file or seeking free legal advice, but just wanted to know if he provided legal advice during the consultation and asked for an explanation of the fee. His response was that he can no longer provide me with help with the matter which my wife initially contacted him for or any other matter. He told me that I'm not the type of client that he wants and he's not the type of attorney I wish to engage and that my question was previously answered by his paralegal. I had never spoken to or emailed him before. My wife had only spoken to his paralegal. I asked my wife if she had asked the paralegal why the fee was so high and what services he provides during the consultation and she said no. When the paralegal mentioned the consultation fee, she only asked if that was something we could handle, but she never explained why the fee was so high or what we could expect during the consultation. Mr. Robinson's response was rude and uncalled for, especially since this was his first and only communication with me. A potential client should be able to ask questions for clarification. Mr. Robinson came off as arrogant which was unexpected since he claims to be a consumer advocate.

Mary worked on my child custody case for many years. She sucked my money dry and didn't solve the case after years of litigation. She scheduled many meetings, emails, paperwork, and wasted my time and money. She had issues with judges and worked her connections to control outcomes of what she wanted and to continue the case and drag it out so she received more money. A few of the lawyers worked together with her to push all contempts on the other party under the rug and wasted years and money. The other party walked away with no consequences. She was a complete waste of money. I would NOT recommend her.

This woman is horrible. She’s so unprofessional and disgusting. I watched this woman “lawyer” yell at our attorney after court. Absolutely gross. Her appearance is appalling and unprofessional. She doesn’t even brush her hair to appear in court. It’s an embarrassment and how anyone can actually hire this “attorney” is beyond me.
If I could give her less than one star, I would. Consider someone else who would actually look and act the part! Yuck!
I have never in my life seen an attorney act this way. Yelling at our attorney while her clients bullied us. Ewwww.
This woman has no self control. How is she going to actually represent people when she can’t even control herself?
