I met with Miller Family Law regarding a Temporary Restraining Order filed against me. After the initial consultation, based on both Matt and Evelin's thoughtful approach I retained the firm.

Have been through the mill with divorce attorneys, five of them and over $100,0000 in legal fees and almost 2 years in court before I found the Miller Family Law Group. Matthew Miller was able to get my case on track, get things in order, utilize the law on behalf of my son to get 2% custody (can you believe?) turned to 46% custody. The Family Law Court is such a dens of thieves with attorneys playing divorce games, threatened restraining orders, filing phony police reports, etc. Matthew Miller turned all this around. No games, just the law. Matthew and Evelina work tirelessly, even in the late hours, and they've had to work with a frustrated dad. Matthew Miller practices law like it should be practiced. He won't throw tomatoes for you. He will just get what needs to be done, done. And out of the six attorneys I've hired, his fees were the most reasonable!

When I first retained Mr. Miller 8 years ago for my divorce and ugly child custody matter, I was especially concerned with his youthful, boy-next-door appearance. I wasn't sure he would be tough enough for the battlefield. I quickly learned Matthew is more than capable. Not only does he know the law, but he understands the politics and procedures of how these things work. He knew when to sit back and when to stand up. His advice to me was spot-on and results were even better than I expected.
Several years later when I needed his services again, he again did a fantastic job for me and my family. I hope nobody has to go thru a probate, but if you do I highly recommend Mr Gregg. He explained the whole process in detail including the cost. Normally it takes about a year to complete but due to the pandemia it took longer, however he kept me informed and answered any questions I had. This guy just takes you're down payment of $3000 and then does nothing for you. He will tell my husband and I that he had another client whose case was more important and wouldn't show up to our court days. He sends a back up who knows nothing about the case. It's hard to get ahold of him and when you do he reply by telling us he hasn't looked into anything yet. He likes to preach about being there for you and then goes M.I.A on you. Don't waste you're time and money on this man. I feel like half these reviews are fake.

Christopher is unlike any other. I can't thank him enough for everything he’s done for me and my family. To start off, the man knows what he’s doing. He’s very straight forward, deeply knowledgeable, and genuinely cares. I’ve consulted him on four different cases and he has managed to strategically work around every case with diligence and technicality. Everything started off after a bad choice on my part which led me to possibly lose custody of both my kids along with a criminal case. I felt like my life was spiraling out of control and he helped keep it together; With the help of Chris, his team, and the grace of God both my kids are still in my custody. He also managed to help my marriage. On multiple occasions he spoke with us over the phone while things were on edge, including while he was on vacation and has also done prayers with us.
On another occasion I landed back in jail and thankfully my mom was able to contact him before my court trial. Without even being retained for my (new) case he joined me for hearing and got me released without bail that same evening. If I could go back in time I’d make different choices but I wouldn’t change hiring Chris to defend me.

I rarely post reviews for any business on any platform, however, while searching for a lawyer that would help me resolve a contentious custody battle for my children, I found Megan with Irwin & Irwin law firm, and felt compelled to write this review.
While researching Irwin & Irwin, I read mixed reviews online, and after meeting with Megan, I knew she would be fair, caring, and tenacious enough to help me resolve our contentious issues with grace.
Megan and the Irwin & Irwin team were exactly what we needed to get our contentious custody case, and family relationship back in order. She helped me decide exactly what I wanted, and what I was willing to negotiate for. Her positive personality helped with mediating our agreement, and she was very fair in regards to billing without drying out my well.

Hired this attorney and she delayed filing my case by almost 6 months- barely missing the statue limitations. Did not know how to handle the case, continuously got railroaded by the defense attorneys that were more skilled and advanced than her. I had to fire her and hire an experienced attorney and spend over $20,000 just to fix all the mistakes that she made. One of the worst business decisions I’ve made in my life. He seemed like a shark, at first. BUT during my lawsuit, he knew about this witness that was called by the defense for weeks and, only at the end of the day before this witness was to testify, he asked me for questions/info that he could use because he had "no idea what to do with her". I was shocked but spent a few hours, when I got home from the hearing that day, compiling a list of about 20-30 points/questions and sent them to him. We met the next morning at the court, and I asked if he had read the document that I sent, and he stated that he - had not. He stated that his kids were sick, and he didn't get much sleep. The judge eventually ruled against me using this witness's hearsay testimony. I lost my home and about $200,000 and had to file for Bankruptcy. Basically, lost my life and it's been hard on me/us, since. An appeal would have cost $50,000 and would have gone to 3 judges to rule if the judge had made a mistake in any processes. Apparently "hearsay" can be used if the judge decides that he wants to. (This was a bench trial). Maybe there wasn't enough fight against this "hearsay" because Rob was unprepared? I only gave one star because of this - AND because Rob contacted me just after I lost and said that he would bill me for $25,000 which is half of what I owed him, at that point. Of course, that offer was only good if I agreed to it right away and paid. Otherwise, I probably would have had to fight him in court over not paying him at all. Who knows...
Also, in the beginning, he had assigned a different lawyer to work with me and I really liked her. Maybe my case was too small for him? But she had quit just before I went to trial.
When you sue someone, you are assigned a judge. Because I chose a bench trial, I knew that my case would be judged by that one single judge that was assigned. I happened to get lucky because I felt that this judge was my peer, and we all have the right to be judged by a jury of our peers.
If the issue is not worked out in mediation between the two parties, the judge will offer one last time to mediate with a different judge, rather than a mediator.
I made it very clear to Rob that I wanted that judge to oversee my trial. Knowing that the defendant could never come to agreement because of his ridiculous “asks” (the mediator agreed) in the first mediation. I only agreed to do the second mediation because Rob told me that I might as well make the guy come into the courthouse that day rather than let him just sit happily at his office or wherever, while his lawyer was there for him instead. Plus, Rob reminded me that I’m having to pay him for the full day because the judge will make us sit there all day, whether we go to this second mediation or not. AND, it looks good to show that you’ve “tried”.
So after making clear that I still wanted this judge, I went to a separate room and sat there while both lawyers for the opposing sides went back into the chambers of this other mediator judge. Rob ended up coming out and told me that the judge said that I was “being reasonable” but apparently the defendant doesn’t want to work things out. No surprise there. Rob then told me that I was assigned to a new judge. (Insert major anger emoji here.) I asked Rob why that happened and can we reverse this - and I never got an answer. He just walked down the hall with me looking like he was thinking hard.
Fast forward - I was then contacted by his office this year. This is 4 years later - and they asked if I wanted a file that I had given them and they would destroy it for me, if not. I had asked for this file after I had lost 4 years ago and I was told they didn't have it or couldn't find it. 4 years is the statute of limitations that one has if they want to sue their lawyer for negligence or malpractice.

David Borsari was referred to me by another Attorney in Los Angeles. I was very pleased with Mr. Borsari and his diligence to my case as well as the outcome, a dismissal.
I was Falsely accused and subjected to a Citizens Arrest for a crime of turpitude in the most bizarre of situations. So strange were the circumstances that the truth defied belief. But not David Borsari, Mr Borsari saw clearly that I and my Wife were the subjects of a person who had weaponized the Police. David got right to work even coming to the location to take statements from the Witnesses that the Police overlooked. A few days later when this same person harassed us again at 9:30pm, David was right there to answer his phone and provide Critical advice In-The-Moment that proved wise even to this day. Mr. Borsari guided this case through an over-zealous OCDA Office, uncooperative in providing subpoenaed material, 7 OCDA Prosecutors & Covid-19. Yes the wheels of Justice turned slowly, but with Mr. Borsari 's diligence common sense prevailed and the case was dismissed. Mr. Borsari also obtained a Court Order to Seal the records and help restore my reputation so wrongfully taken from me. Was recommended by another Lawyer to help with a submission and if necessary an appeal for Home confinement. He assured he'll do everything he can to help. That was not the case. He wrote a letter of recommendation and charged me $1,500 for nothing. Got denied and he said "sorry, nothing else i can do". He did not fight, just took it and left me to be.

I was falsely accused for domestic violence, and battery with a weapon. I hired David and he stuck with me for 14 months fighting against the DA and the local police department, proving my innocence. Check with the Minnesota State Bar Office of Lawyers Responsibility, 800-657-3601. After a years research the Office issued an Admonition against Judith A. Marty. She failed to "keep her client reasonably informed", failed to put additional funds in a trust account as required by law. Did not offer to return the files after being discharge by the client (twice). A quote from the admonition "It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, or misrepresentation." She is a rude uncaring person. Would not return phone calls or answer any correspondence. She left her client in the dark. He has been deported.

I have used Cory many times. First time was 23 years ago for an assault & battery charge. What the other review said about getting court extensions is true. He did that to me the first time I used him. Criminal cases are usually paid in advance. He allows payment plans, but has to be paid in full before your case is decided. Thats probably why he requested extensions. He is easier to deal with once you have established credit. I have gone from paying in advance & going through extensions to having him appear with just a phone call and no money in advance. He is not unreasonable. Sometimes he is unable to get you out of trouble. That happens. He has done a lot for my family. If I got into trouble again I would call him.

We thought we would require an attorney for a trust. He asked us for $2,200 to review the documents. We paid him, then a month goes by and we get a bill for an extra $750, he marked for charges such as emailing client and talking to client as being extra costs. The day we needed him for representation (a Friday), he said that he would be out of office Thursday evening til the following week.
