She represented my children in a custody case and did not respect both mine, my ex’s, or my children’s wishes. My children were in tears after each time they saw her and were very unhappy with her approach. This layer continued to call them stupid and idiotic. DO NOT HIRE HER!

Shelly McKeon (along with Jessica Kern) handled my divorce and the bottom line is she protected my interests and ensured I got a fair settlement. Although my ex and her attorney made the whole thing as difficult and expensive as it could be, Shelly made sure that I was well aware of what was to come, kept me informed and involved, and took every step needed to ensure that I was not steamrolled. Having a special needs child who reached the age of 18 became a complex time in our lives. Leah Morabito is a kind and compassionate lawyer who worked with our family to make a difficult situation much, much easier. She was available to help us when we needed her, and answered our questions promptly and precisely. She obviously knows Maryland estate law, which made it much less confusing for us. Since we were not Maryland residents dealing with a relative who had died in Maryland, it could have been confusing and time consuming to settle this estate, but Leah made it as easy as was possible with the circumstances. Not only was she technically a good lawyer, but she was obviously concerned about us as people which made it much easier to ask questions and deal with the situation. She is an excellent lawyer.

I initially contracted with another firm to handle an automobile accident case for me. It didn't take me long to discover they were doing an inferior job and asking me, while incapacitated due to injuries from the accident, to do all the legwork tracking down bills, etc. As my medical bills mounted and I didn't get any feedback at all my patience wore thin. I became more and more stressed. It looked like my medical bills and attorney fees were going to exceed the other driver's insurance coverage and my attorney didn't seem at all concerned. In desperation I finally resorted to posting on Craigslist and Facebook asking for recommendations for an attorney experienced in litigating court cases with Allstate.
And I actually got one that made sense.The referral was from somebody living near me in Dundalk, MD and was for an attorney in Gaithersburg, MD. They were about an hours drive and multiple tolls away . . . but he said they were doing a fantastic job representing him in a case with Allstate and just about everything could be done over the phone or by mail. He hadn't settled yet but was impressed with the offers they had pushed Allstate up to and the fact that they weren't afraid to push for court litigation.
I did some quick online research and then reached out to them through a voicemail and a message through their website. I got a call the next day from Howard Simcox, Jr. From that point on things began to make sense. He gave me the names of each member of his staff I might be interacting with and explained what they would be doing. He explained the claims process from beginning to end and warned me what to look out for if anyone contacted me so I protected my rights. And in only a couple weeks he was up to speed on the status of my case and had discovered that basic information, like the initial accident report and photos were missing from my file.
Words can't express how helpful everyone at Sussman and Simcox were from beginning to end. In addition to negotiating a settlement much higher than I had ever expected there was an abundance of intangible things that made a difference in the quality of service I received. They did everything they could to alleviate the stress the fallout from the accident was creating in my life. Mr. Simcox, and his paralegal, Karin Kiltz, both took the time to explain the ins and outs of how accidents, and resulting bills, can affect your credit and how any negative reports must be cleared once a case is settled and the bills paid. They also explained that my own insurance would pick up where the other driver's left off if my expenses, and pain and suffering, exceeded the other driver's limits. And when I reached a point where I needed physical therapy during the COVID-19 shut downs Karin Kiltz was able to quickly locate a reputable physical therapy office where I could be seen without a lengthy wait.
Karin Kiltz seemed almost like she had been appointed as my personal assistant due to the way she remained in touch with me thought the case. No matter what was going on she was supportive and patient, always explaining in detail what was happening and what to expect.
Towards the end of the case Mr. Simcox told me we had an option of settling for what Allstate had said was their final offer or continuing on to court. He was more than understanding, but still willing to proceed to court with my case, when I explained I would rather just avoid the additional stress and take the settlement that had been offered.
My case is proof that Sussman and Simcox go well beyond just litigating cases. They put in the time and effort required to walk a client through recovery from an injury to completion of settlement in a caring, supportive way that helps to reduce stress. It was all those "intangible" things they provided that made a world of difference to me and was what resulted in my recommendation of their firm to anyone in need of a personal injury attorney.

Howard was recommended to me by another lawyer and represented me when I was being sued by an insurance company.
He is incredibly pleasant to work with and was very accommodating to my needs and budget. Howard searched every viable legal avenue and kept me up to date with his findings and opinions on courses of actions. He was quite honest with all potential scenarios for my case and aimed to provide me with as many resources as possible.
I hold much praise and gratitude for Mr. Simcox's hard work and diligence. While in this instance, it resulted the best possible outcome to my favor, I would have been quite happy regardless. When I first meet Mr. Budesheim, I was exhausted, extremely disappointed and devastated by circumstances around my private life; my Employment Authorization Card had expired and besides, I received notification for my deportation from US, due the absence of real reasons, why should I live in this country?
Mr. Budesheim listened me carefully and attentively, then he smiled to me so friendly and warmly that all my fear and frustration almost disappeared. “We are here, to protect the people, like you”-he said, and I believed, he is able help me.
Mr. Budesheim and his team had working scrupulously and meticulously within all period of time for my defense against deportation and then, for my application of permanent residency and my application for Naturalization of citizenship, solving them step by step.
Today, I am glad that I overcame to all my problems, by support and care of Mr. Budesheim and his team. I think, I need to share my history with all those, who has a problem, with immigration. My case was relatively simple, but I had two bumps due to inadequate handling of the case by this attorney.
First, there was an error in the form submission,. RFE was issued, but attorney still sent the copy of the same erroneous reply that generated the RFE in the first place.
I had to draft my own reply to RFE and send to USCIS via certified mail, apologizing for the error of my attorney!
This had considerably delayed the case processing.
Later on , when interview notice came, Thomas said he would charge $500 extra to attend it.
I wasn't prepared for it and decided to think it over. Two weeks before the interview I came to his office with the $500 draft of the check to ask him to attend the interview. Here is Thomas' reply: "No, I can't, I already have another client booked that day".
During the interview the young officer made an error and changed my answer by mistake. If my attorney was present this would have been prevented. Instead, my case went on and stayed on pending status for another two months. Only after contacting the office of Johnson and Johnson immigration law firm did I receive a high quality and efficient legal assistance. Three weeks after the direct intervention of an experienced and knowledgeable attorney who sent a notice of appearance my case was promptly adjudicated and I received an approval notice in mail.
If you need an immigration attorney try to browse the search section and look for ones who have high ratings/reputation or ask for personal references. Do not make the same mistake I made by randomly selecting an attorney based on first impressions of nice conversation on the phone.
In my opinion This individual is not qualified to practice law and should never be allowed to represent clients on immigration matters. I am lucky, my case was simple and despite unnecessary delays it was approved in the end. I can't imagine what would anyone have to go through if they had a complex case requiring an expertise of knowledgeable immigration attorney. You are better off going Pro Se than hiring services of Thomas Budesheim.

Jerry M. Gudis is possibly the most arrogant, unresponsive, rude and insensitive lawyer I have ever let handle a case for me. His office has no administrative services. Calling them is like playing Russian roulette. The man can display anger and pettiness in a major way. Sometimes one wonders if he realizes that one is a paying client and not a conduit for his abusive skills. If you desire a mature and sensitive lawyer it definitely is not this one.

Matt is professional and friendly. I believe he is liked by the legal community including judges. Unfortunately, his court room demeanor is more on the side of meek than aggressive. True story, my ex-wife had never made custody exchanges easy. We had two boys. My ex-wife refused to let the oldest return on our exchanges, then kicked him out of her house within a year. After I had both boys back with me for a month, my ex-wife took my youngest away and would not allow him to be exchanged. I hired Matt and we went in for an Emergency Hearing. The judge says, well what if he did abuse the child? Matt says nothing, just shrugs his shoulders. Swear. Not, "the ex has shown a past history, the ex has been removed from the house for child abuse and domestic violence in the past" nothing. Just shrugs his shoulders. After we left the courtroom he scolded me for wearing a dress shirt, dress pants, and a tie without a jacket. No apologies for lackluster performance.

This case was extremely long and uneccesarily drawn out to the point it was emotionally draining and much more stressful than it would have been, if properly handled. Despite the statement on his website claiming, "We ensure you are fully informed of the law as it relates to your case," I found myself educating him about my employee rights including the Ledbetter law and Family Medical Leave, which anyone in this field should know. His negotiating skills are extremely lacking and I found it embarrassing when sitting in mediation with him as my representative due his demeanor, lack of knowledge, and disorganization. The session proved to be unproductive. Additionally, he showed up late to represent me in an unemployment claim appeal, which aggravated the judge from the start. His "contributions" were more of a disservice than anything else. I feel strongly that I would have had a better chance of having my appeal granted if he hadn't showed up at all and I had simply represented myself. I definitely would not recommend him and wish I had done more research to find an attorney with a proven record and positive client feedback.

Timothy E. Clarke made serious errors during his service. He said that I did not have to attend my first hearing and that he would attend. He forgot which resulted in a bench warrant being issued in my name. He was also impossible to reach. At my hearing he said he felt I should plead guilty, which I strongly disagreed with. Then he let me know I was facing up to one year in prison over a minor offence. I would strongly recommend a prospective customer use anyone else if you value your freedom.

Only answered questions with questions. Talked down to me by saying things like "you tell me how the trust could have been dissolved" or "you just don't understand how the legal system works" he crafted a 5 paragraph email to detail his disappointment in me for not having the trust documents instead of simply sending them.
