From representation to getting my retainer back, my experience was awful. Best Law Firm will nickel and dime everything, even when big mistakes are made on their end that they have to fix. I caught and called out the errors myself, which shows the level of care & attention that was missed. All painfully expensive bills were paid on time (disputes never acknowledged so don't even try), yet it took nearly 3 months to get my retainer back and it was still $900 short. Unfortunately, my case was made more complicated for me due to my representation. If you want to pay a fortune for representation from an attorney who makes a sensitive, high conflict case more stressful and emotional, then inadvertently puts the opposing party over you (case could have been dismissed), acknowledges it and still bills you for it, this is your place. What truly bothered me the most (and still does) is that I was very clear that I did not want to involve my children or any witness, etc. and would only consider it if opposing party and I could not agree and had to go to trial - yet on the very first meeting with the Judge - my attorney requested a child interview. Luckily, we never got that far and our children were not traumatized with that having to get sucked into the mess.
In addition, I connected with the attorney I paid to do my first consultation with and was raw and emotional spilling the details of my case... I was then told at the end that she does not take cases and just does the intake calls and I would be passed to another attorney who would take great care of me. That connection was never made again. To make it even more disconnected - that initial attorney I connected with did not even recognize or acknowledge me when I came into their office less than a month later. My case was the most important thing happening in my life as it involved my children and the entire experience felt like a slap in the face. Extremely disappointing.

I had a slip and fall accident, that at first did not require surgery, but I was out a lot of $$ in deductables and medical bills.
When I couldn't come to a resolution with the other party myself , I shopped around for a personal injury attorney. Every place I called required their clients to have a surgery to take on a case. The husband and wife team only handle cases where the client had been dismembered, lost a limb or had been decapitated. Seriously made me feel like my puny case wasn't good enough.
When I called Browne Law Group , they took my info and a day later Byron called me and I told him about my case. He said he could help me even if I didn't require surgery ,And he did!
The case took almost 3 years to resolve, not anyone's fault. Just fyi. I did end up needing surgery after I got a second opinion. 6 months in a walking boot was not fun nor productive for healing what ended up being 2 fractured bones in my foot.
At my video deposition, the defendant's lawyer (Josh) was being aggressive and rude and tried to wear me down and slip me up . I was grateful that Byron sat next to me for 3+ hours and had my back the whole time.My case went to pre litigation which we won and then we settled before trial.
During this lengthy 3 year process, I probably spoke to everyone in the office. I felt like all my questions and concerns were addressed quickly and professionally.
From time to time Byron can be a little "full of himself". But if that's my biggest complaint oh well, (actually my biggest complaint would be, - I hate the music the office played when I'm on hold.,)
Byron went above and beyond for me while we waited for my settlement check to be processed by the other counsel.
I would recommend Browne Law Group to anyone. Hopefully I won't be in a situation again where I'd need a personal injury attorney. If I was, I'd hire Byron and his team again.

I see Tad deactivated his Facebook page to hide all scathing reviews made against him as well as disabled his Google reviews. He's up for review soon with the AZ state bar and it's ridiculous they're still letting him defend himself in court when he conned many of his clients out of millions of dollars. I hope they throw the book at him.

I do not know how this lawyer is maintaining positive reviews even after disbarment, as he probably hires bots for the positive ones hes recieved. Tad Davis was recently disbarred for ignoring his clients. Myself included, he dragged my case out way past the statuate of limitations. I would like to pursue a group lawsuit where anyone whose case got dropped take Mr Davis to court and make him refund money for any unearned legal fees. I would advise against ever using her for any legal situation. I was arrested for something I was innocent of. I was assigned Kari Jill Granville as a pro bono attorney. I was incarcerated for 5 months, she would never take my phone calls, she never even got me a police report the time I was in jail, did not even discuss a trial at any time, and simply said if I was to take my case to trial I would lose, and even if I won I would be page two's for carrying a pocket knife I was carrying,come to find out that it is completely legal for me to carry it. When she did do her 2 video visits she lit one cigarette after the other. You're pretty old Keri, slow down on you're smoking!! She kept telling me to sign for 5 years, had my family convinced that was a deal of a lifetime in the email' s she sent them. Thank God I was able to hire a good attorney. I went to court with my new attorney & my new attorney had me out in 3 days. I read your response to the only other review you had, which they said they had the worst experience of their life with you. You responded with saying people can ask you to do something unethical. I asked you for nothing more than legal representation, which you could not provide in the least, how can you respond to this. I mean don't get mad,I'm only keeping it real.

I have tried to contact her since the ramifications of her lack of representation on me and she ignores all of my phone calls. I’ve asked to see documents and reports and I’ve been denied everything. This woman is someone I would bar run far far away from. This comes from someone who served a legislative internship by scholarship and has a background in law. Even though she was assigned as a public defender, at no time did I feel that I was treated differently than if I was a full paying client. I never had to ask her to do anything specific or in a certain way because she was already doing everything the way I wanted. Throughout the whole case, her personality helped make things less stressful. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needed an attorney.

Hire someone else. I never post review like this, but I feel a duty to warn the next person. She started off great!y wife and I really liked her way of handling things! She was doing a great job on our case. Problem is she doesn’t k ow how to effectively manage her practice so she takes on way too much of a caseload. We have been waiting literally since December for her to type up a settlement offer for our case that should have taken 1 day. Her office staff keeps telling us end of the week and yet another week pushes by with no response.
To make things worse she also is late with her billing for the same reasons. She charged me late fees and interest in Oct and Dec invoice when I sent the check the day I received the invoice. Very unprofessional. I have 850 credit score and never pay anything late. It’s a slap in the face for her to just slap interest and late charges on all of her invoices without reason. I have tried to get her to adjust and no response, but that has become very common with her. I actually haven’t had an email returned since Jan 10th a month ago and I have sent several emails. Still to this day Feb 4th 2022 I have no settlement offer from Selena and no replies to any of my calls or emails since Jan 10th

I wish I would have found Selena from the beginning of my divorce. I was with a different lawyer at the beginning that I felt just took advantage of me and didn’t care about my case or what I was going through. Mid-way through my experience I switched to Selena and that made all the difference in the world. She got things done!!! Kevin R. Harper represented me in a HOA foreclosure and helped put closer to the foreclosure.
Thank you, Mr. Harper, for that. Yet, throughout the duration of my case, I was very unsettled.
For someone seeking a payoff amount to settle the HOA debt I had, why did it take almost 2 months?
I got charged for him speaking with the opposing counsel 9 individual days and 13 days for me.
Any job I have ever had, if I took that long to execute that task, I would have been terminated.
What stressed me out the most, was Mr. Harper not supplying an answer to the courts.
An answer is an acknowledgement that I am aware of the court case and intend on participating.
The court website stresses the importance and so did several videos of lawyers handling these cases.
If an answer isn’t supplied by a given date, the case enters a default ruling against me.
While Mr. Harper was working my case, I contacted the courts to learn what that due date was.
I was told of the date. Also, that no answer was submitted, nor was a lawyer assigned to my case.
Mr. Harper informed me no answer needs to be supplied because opposing counsel and himself agreed to an extension, pushing out the date for the answer.
I asked about the court’s involvement of knowing. He stated they did not need to be informed.
So, the courts don’t know I have counsel assigned, nor an extension?
I would imagine the courts will react when that original due date arrives.
If only Mr. Harper was empathetic, then he might have reacted appropriately to my stressing out.
First off, HOA’s by law can rob you of your home with a mere HOA debt of $1200.00.
Couple that with the housing values doubling, and you have the makings of a scam.
You begin to wonder if your counsel doesn’t flub your case to take a cut when your home is sold.
My home is on the line here and everything appears sketchy.
However, many times I wrote emails addressing my concerns, he spent more time questioning why I didn’t sit back and take his advice, than to furnish me adequate documentation supporting his claims.
Mr. Harper eventually got me the pay off amount, on a Friday before the due date on Monday.
I immediately responded willing to pay that total bill today, before the due date arrives.
Mr. Harper knew how stressed I was about the due date, so why did he not contact me back until Tuesday, the day after the due date?
Not only did he position me to go out of my mind over the weekend and the due date day, but proceeded now to finally submit an answer.
He had been telling me the answer will come with considerable cost and he was saving me from the excessive bill.
Why then submit an answer after the due date, that wasn’t going to do me any good?
I should have trusted the negative reviews of Mr. Harper.
One stating it appeared he was working for the other side, not responding with answers, and another that he lacked empathy.
Although his reviews have significant positives, I felt the same anguish from each of the negative reviews.
Further example of concern, he responds back to the negative reviews, initializing the same blanket statement.
Five stars for closing out my case. Deducting 3 stars for the stress, dragging it out, and excessive cost.
I wish Mr. Harper success in his life and to eventually feel compassionate about people’s situation and not take advantage it to over stuff his wallet.

I hired Kevin to represent me in a very elongated situation, whereby, I was divorced but I was a joint tenancy owner with rights of survivorship on my house. Needless to say, there was a battle between my ex and I regarding the sale of the house. There was not much in terms of case law regarding joint tenancy with rights of survivorship, however through Kevin’s diligence and persistence, we won my case. I would highly recommend hiring Kevin. He was very professional and kept me abreast of each facet on my case. Kudos, Kevin for a job well done.

I had a realtor try to sue me for a commission that she thought was due to her. I own a few commercial properties and Linda’s loser lawyer tried to become a pain in my ass so I would just pay them to go away . But Kevin kicked there Ass ! I know there is never a guaranteed out come with what you hear on the news about law suits but I was willing to fight it out of principle . We offered this realtor 17,000 dollars to go hide under a rock . And she refused the money and lost on a Summary judgement . And had to pay me $25,000k . Kevin filed the judgment with the county and couple years later she couldn’t sell her house without paying me . There are times I would call Kevin on other matters and he would tell me I shouldn’t sue because I signed the contract even though I thought I was right . So I didn’t . He could have said yeah sue them and take my retainer but he didn’t .

Absolutely outstanding! We switched to Harper Law after over a year with another firm that provided zero results, zero updates and repeatedly had excuses. We came to Harper Law really frustrated and upset with so much time wasted with our real estate matter. Kevin was efficient, prompt, took over our case from our previous attorney and was able to get the ball rolling immediately. Mr. Slater did a terrible job representing me in court. He and his office secretary (wife) are non responsive and do not follow up. Every contact that was made I had to initiate. At times I felt like I was telling him things that he as my lawyer should already know. He also over charged me for very minimal services.

She was assigned to represent my family member, Thomas Morkeberg, she NEVER met with him. She failed to represent him as required. On the day of his sentencing I asked her why she did not perform the duties she was paid for, she responded with a question asking why I waste my time and care about losers. How does she have a license to continue practicing law.

I was referred to Bernita Clark from a friend at church. I had just moved to Arizona with my daughter whom I’ve had custody of. I was told she would fight for me and understands my financial situation. I agreed to pay $200.00 a month until my case was complete. The case was simple, my daughters mom had been gone for two years with no contact with our child. Bernita was given emails with my stating she didn’t want the child and was on probation for a DUI. Before went in front of the judge, Bernita meet with my daughters my explaining what was going to happen in the court room giving her tips. When we appeared in front of the judge Bernita did not object or say any words but “I agree”. So the Jude ruled split custody’s and now we have to modify the order because law informent stated the order was not clear and there needs to be a modification. Feeling hopeless she took advantage of me knowing I was desperate and needed help. I have to hirer another lawyer to fix my case. My daughters step father emotionally abuses her daily and I can’t do anything. Please seek other options. She’s not in it for the passion but the pay check.
