My mother suffered a life-threatening medical emergency in the midst of the COVID crisis, and my father - in his 90’s - was unable to make the required medical and financial decisions. With the able assistance of Ms. Farewell’s firm, we quickly created and executed needed Power of Attorney and Advance Medical Directive documents, which allowed me to ensure appropriate care for both my parents.
Ultimately, again with the guidance of the Farewell firm, we were able to sell my parents’ home and move them to an assisted living facility near my home in Santa Barbara. They are now in a safe environment and most importantly, together.

Mr. Reyes is an outstanding attorney. Last year my mom was involved in a car accident which caused her to be hospitalized for 5 days. Unfortunately, our insurance decided to blame my mom for the accident before getting the police report. After 15 years of having this major insurance carrier, we didn't feel as we were in "safe hands". It was a nightmare. Thankfully, we contacted Mr. Reyes and he started his own investigation. He was very persistent and researched everything about the accident to better understand the situation. Somehow, Mr. Reyes got a hold of a couple of witnesses that confirmed that it was the other individual's fault. A couple of weeks later, the police report corroborated that it was the other driver's fault. Mr. Reyes' dedication paid off. After eight months, we closed the case and the other driver's insurance has agreed to pay the maximum allowed for this case. I was involved in a car accident in 2012 and I had to deal with my car issues but just didn’t have the time with work. I started to have pain after a day or so and I was determined to find an attorney. I called Mr. Henrik Karapetian and he immediately followed up with my accident case. After hiring him he kept me informed every step of the way as my car was repaired, a rental was given and my injury case progressed. I never needed to call him for an update because he would let me know of any new developments as they came so I was really happy about that.
Most important, my car was fixed immediately and my injury claim settled for an amount that I was very happy with.

I had hired an attorney for a custody and support case but I was happy with the service and attention my case was getting. I wanted results. I hired Henrik after firing my previous attorney. Meredith Brown is the best immigration lawyer in Los Angeles, CA. she's very professional, she detail very handling my case, speaks English and Spanish and most importantly has direct contact with immigration offices. My case was almost unsolvable because it had already been rejected by immigration, I contact Meredith and was not even necessary to submit a formal appeal, she looked my case and she told me: "I can't find any reason of why they rejected your application", we work together and she submit a letter and my documents again with the immigration office, after a few months my citizenship was approved. Thanks to her I am now a citizen of this country, I married and I could bring my wife from Mexico to live with me without any problem, my migrations problems stay in the past and now I have a good life with my wife in a country where as an immigrants we have to strive to double, learn another language, work double and overcome barriers that the system requires us for the simple fact of not being born in USA. Jack represented us in a very complicated law suit. Throughout the process which almost took two years, every decision he made turned out to be the best one for our case.
At one point we had seven lawyers, for different matters. Jack was the Managing Counsel, keeping everyone on track, and staying focus to details, as well as the bigger picture. He had to work often for very long hours, and many times over the weekend, while at the same time always answering our phone calls, and taking the time to listen to us.
We were finally able to reach a settlement agreement which left us very pleased. We are so thankful for the great job he did, for his work ethic, experience, knowledge and wisdom. Jack touched our lives in many ways, helping us understand and assess the problem, finding the best solution to clean this big mess, and finally bulletproofing the settlement to protect us in the future. Knowing Malyan Law and Christina is to know you have a good advocate on your side. I had a car accident and even though I handled it by myself, Christina was always a phone call away to guide and assist to make sure I was not being offered a low settlement. Gina was a lifesaver. She did an outstanding job knocking out a lawsuit for alleged quiet title and declaratory relief for me in a commercial real estate context.
