I was targeted by scammers. These scammers are so convincing I almost fell for it. I called the Mingledorff Firm and they took it from there. Another time I was falsely accused of a car accident when I wasn’t even in town! T.Mingledorff got the supporting video footage and resolved the matter with the police directly. Hands down the best in the business!! Dr. Barnes came highly recommended to me by an excellent doctor. He sat down with me and listened to all the details of my case. He walked me through the legal process so I would know what to expect. He can truly offer expert opinion because he is not only a doctor, but a lawyer as well. Many medical malpractice lawyers are not well versed on the medical missteps, and need to hire a medical expert to verify the medical details. I contacted Dr. Barnes regarding an employment issue that I was dealing with. This review is based on my previous experience with a different Attorney and Law Firm compared to my recent experience with Dr. Stephen Barnes
My previous experience with Attorneys has been that they are extremely busy with an overload of cases. As a result, they often overlook critical details with a client's case. Additionally, clients have to constantly follow up with the Attorney to continue moving the case forward with the hopes of a positive outcome.
This was not the case with Dr. Barnes. Stephen was immediately responsive when I reached out to him. He actually answered his phone the first time I called him. More importantly, he took the time to read the critical information that I sent to him prior to our initial in person consultation.
I spoke with Dr. Barnes several times over the phone. Stephen also helped me with a document that I needed to sign for my company. Without Dr. Barnes help, I would have not been able to counter the contents of the document. Stephen continued to field my telephone calls and provide advice. Dr. Barnes ultimately referred me to another Attorney, who was more specialized with my employment issue.
I would highly recommend Dr. Stephen Barnes. In this day and age, it's very difficult to find an excellent Attorney that will take the precious time to fully understand your concerns and help you navigate through the complex legal system.

We hired Richard to help us navigate a complex business contract. Richard took the time to make sure we understood every word of the contract provided by the other side and rewrote and negotiated it to be in our favor before we signed. His tactful and professional approach saved the deal and made sure we got a contract which was very favorable to our side, protecting our interests and our investment. He did this all without spoiling the deal or offending a difficult opposing side. My wife and I hired Amy to update our will, and create a small trust for our children. She was very thorough in her questioning during the process, and helped us identify some concerns that we need to address through the will. She was very helpful, and willing to work with us to develop the documents including the will and trust, and we were able to complete all of the work on budget.
I also asked Amy to review an overly complex employee stock ownership agreement from my employer. She was extremely thorough, and in fact identified a key factor in this agreement that impacted my will. I could tell she worked very hard on this, and was very complete in her summary report.

Going through a divorce, you will feel empty as you watch your life fall apart. It's isolating and embarrassing all at the same time. The people that once encircled your life start to disappear for a while; distanced if they do speak to you. There's hardly not anything more alienating than that position. I hired Kelley for a felony theft case. My case effected my job, and I needed it cleared up quickly in order to return to work. Within 30 days of my first court date, Kelley had my case reduced to a misdemeanor deferred, so that I could return to work. Kelley worked diligently with the prosecutor and myself to get the matter resolved quickly. She has a great rapport with the DAs, and she kept me informed every step of the way. The day I hired her, I felt such relief because she has a true passion for helping her clients. Even after my case was closed, she still contacted me to make sure I understood all the requirements of my deferred adjudication and to help with anything else I may need. I had a felony theft case, and it effected my job. I needed the case dropped quickly in order to return to work and keep my position. Kelley helped me with a theft case that was ridiculous anyway. Not only did she explain everything that was going on, what could happen, she also made me feel instantly upon our first meeting that everything was going to be fine. I had been so stressed about this issue and when I met with her she made me feel relieved. She is extremely knowledgeable of the criminal court system, responded immediately to any questions I had, and she researched the case to the tiniest detail. I was amazed at how skilled she was and my case has been dismissed completely. She told me in the beginning that was what she was going for but that there were other possibilities. I always knew what was going on and what she was going to do each time we went to court. Sylvia Escobedo was hired on my case for an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge. She kept me informed on everything that was going on with my case. Dejean was referred to me through another attorney to represent my son in a double felony case after 6 months of working with a court appointed lawyer. The court appointed was a huge disappointment and claimed the "best" he could do for us was 2 years TDC (unacceptable). After retaining Mr. Cleggett's services we felt very at ease and in good hands. Within 24 hours he had already made a visit to the jail and always kept us informed. He showed a genuine interest in the case; wanting to know all the details of the situation and our son as a person. His previous experience as a Harris County prosecutor is invaluable. In the end, Dejean was able to get the original offer of 2 years TDC by the court appointed attorney reduced to a much more reasonable 3 years probation (acceptable). I was laid off from my last employer in 2009. When I received a letter from the TWC that said that my employer was contesting the claim I submitted, I felt I had been hit very hard in the chest. I had a business that I needed some help with copy right infringement. I contacted Mr. Vance and we set up a meeting. When I met with Mr. Vance he was very cordial. He listened to what I had to say and what information I could provide. He then made suggestions as to what avenue to take to remedy the situation and provided approximately what it would cost. I hired Norm to recover property I had leased to a third-person who was no longer paying on the lease. Norm immediately took action, filing for a TRO and TI, bringing the lessee to Court immediately. Before the Court heard our case, Norm was able to negotiate with the third-party a new lease that required a higher monthly payment and certain other terms that, if violate, permitted the immediate and non-judicial recovery of the property. During the term of the new lease, Norm worked to make sure that requirements were met on a timely basis. I found Norm to be accessible, knowledgeable and very trustworthy. His work was excellent and my results were more than I expected. I would recommend Norm for any litigation matter and will be hiring him again should the need arise.
