When my husband was laid off from work, the timing could not have been worse for us financially. We had been through a few years of unforeseeable financial issues, and were somewhat overextended as a result. The total loss of income meant there was no way to meet all obligations.
We researched bankruptcy lawyers online, and talked to a couple. It was clear from the initial contact with Ms Tanner that she is very knowledgeable in her field, is a clear communicator and is able to obtain what information she needs from a client in order to give the best advice, and is very compassionate.
We chose to retain her as our attorney, and from the very start, she gave clear, concise instructions as to how best to navigate the best course of action. Within a year, all was taken care of, without any unpleasant surprises. The staff was also always very responsive and helpful throughout the entire experience. All in all, Ms. Tanner made this as painless as it can possibly be to go through bankruptcy, and we are very grateful for her representation.

We did not expect our situation could be resolved with just one appearance in court. But our lawyer, Thomas Jarvinen, made that happen to our utter surprise and relief. At that one and only court appearance we needed to be present for, we had no idea what to expect.
But a few minutes later, our lawyer told us the prosecuting attorney now wishes to drop all changes (against me) and strike all court records (so related to my case).
How in the world Mr. Jarvinen was able to persuade the prosecutor against me to do this (essentially throw in the towel), which would totally clear my name is still a mystery to us. Who would have thought what we felt to be a complicated issue that no doubt, or so we assumed, would involve discord and arguments my and God knows what all else, especially as our particular problem had us pitted against a U.S. corporate giant, that we had so little as even a snowballs chance being cleared of anything negative involving a corporate giant and just little old me, but the jaw dropping summation of it all for us was indeed legal victory. So yes sometimes even we common citizens prevail over the almighty power of the girded bastions of corporate advantage, whether it be political advantage, financial advantage, advantages related to corporate claims of equal rights under corporate personhood laws now enacted, or anything else. As a just published book on "Am***n" states : "The Rich Dont Always Win..."
Granted, our case was "small potatoes" in most other citizens' opinions, in comparison to many others, but even small victories add up. Too us, we find what's more important than "how" he won our case is "that" he won our case!
We, husband and self highly recommend this lawyer, whom even other lawyers have commented that he did a really good job for us, and we also recommend the Russ Crumbley Law Firm where he is an active legal professional along with Russ.
Russ used to be a coworker of my husband at the hospital where they were coworkers together. But quit some time back, while holding his full time radiology job along with my husband, Russ felt a call to learn and practice law, and boy is he good at it! As are the partners he's chosen, and just as he was as my husband's collegue in hospital radiology practice.

In closing, I will personally recommend Mr. Blackwell and his staff to anyone that has an injury claim and needs the best possible legal representation.

It is going to be difficult for me to find the words to express the level of heartfelt gratitude I have toward Mr. Thomas S. McGrath’s law firm. I am a single mother of 2 small children who was seeking to purchase a home and found herself being taken advantage of a Real Estate team out of Madison, Alabama. They were in the process of trying to manipulate me into buying a home that they had not repaired as promised and time was running for me with my apartment lease. I had to make a decision to stay in my apartment or take a chance on a house that may never be repaired as promised. I knew I could never afford to take on the repairs they were trying to leave behind. I was receiving threats of being taken to court for not wanting to purchase this home and with their disregard for my situation could have very well lead to the kids and I being homeless. They did not care no matter how much I tried to explain my situation. Needless to say I was scared and was losing hope quickly. I decided it was time to seek legal advice. I was able to speak with a few lawyers in the area but I only got very “broad” answers if you will, which didn’t give me any comfort or direction. Luckily, Mr. McGrath was recommended to me and within a few days his team had me scheduled for a consultation. The day of the consultation, Mr. McGrath’s demeanor was unmatched and his genuine concern for the situation was overwhelming. He is very direct and will tell you the truth about the severity of the situation and the projected outcome based on facts presented. His efforts are 100% the entire time. I had been dealing with this situation for weeks on my own and I finally felt like I had solid support. Mr. McGrath has been practicing law for 27 years or more and is well versed in Real Estate, among other things which is very comforting also. I met Brad Ryder over two years ago. At the time my mother was in the hospital because of care that she failed to receive while a patient at a local nursing home. Brad and his staff took an active interest in my mother’s situation. Over time my mom’s health deteriorated and Brad made sure that he visited her on a regular basis. When you hire a lawyer the most important thing is trust, you must trust what they are telling & selling you! Jon told me from the day I walked in and before I paid what he was going to do. I remember how confident he was lol, and I was like…. Really??? cause I was so nervous! I called Chelsea all the time asking the same questions over and over, she was so patient, kind, & understanding though :) My cases were an A-2 DUI, Failure to properly yield, & No Insurance (which I had). We pled not guilty, the case was continued three times, and the fourth time we went to trial in district court. Well Jon was not there that because he had a doctor’s appointment, so Mike Morenilla filled in for him. (I was like wait, where is Jon, I hired Jon). But Mike did the trial and simply nailed it! Not guilty all 3 counts!! So impressed! Caleb did an outstanding job for me. He provided expert legal guidance on fighting a proposed suspension. He prepared a rebuttal that was effective, clear, and legally sound. The proposed suspension was reduced to a letter of reprimand. I was willing to take the letter of reprimand and move on with my life versus fighting it at the next level. I know Caleb would have prepared an solid response at the next level, but I was not willing to continue. His rates were very reasonable. The value for the cost was excellant. I worked for the biggest tree company in the United States. After a on job injury in 2011, a friend recommended Tara Helms. Tara met with me and told me I had a good case and immediately got to work. She kept in touch with me when anything that came up in my case. I received e-mails, phone calls, and copies of all papers of my case. Tara kept assuring me that everything was going well with the case. I think Tara goes above and beyond for her clients, she really knows her stuff. After everything was done Tara got me about 50 x's what they had offered me. I highly recommend Tara Helms.

While working as a Social Worker I was both sexually assaulted, raped and physically beaten. Then and this is what a lot of people find more shocking then what actually happened to me physically is that I was sued by the County for being raped. If that is not nasty enough they hired private investigators to follow me around to and from my doctor appointments. It is hard very hard to get over being attacked the way that I was it does not help the healing process along to know that you are being followed again.
All by being assigned to case that did not meet our programs criteria. I had met with my supervisor three times that day explaining how this case did not meet our safety parameters for predominantly the children of the case I was given but time and time again she chose to keep her case numbers high and safety of those we were sworn to serve secondary at best.
Even after all of this you will have a hard time finding an attorney willing to one go to court secondly go to court against a municipality like a county. I went through several prior to meeting Tara that just weren't up to the challenge for one reason or another. I really had began to give up on finding an attorney that had the inner and outer fight needed for this kind of case. No attorney was going to make a lot of money of this case it was just a matter of finding someone that would do the right thing. If there is anyone better then Tara and more dedicated I have yet to meet them. She is a fighter, her record is amazing and most of all she really cares. Not quality's you find in many people these days. can't imagine recommending another attorney for anything.

I had a very hard and difficult case that was not going to make Mrs.Helms a great deal of money but was going to require a great deal of hard work and willingness to go to court which a lot of attorney's do not want to do in fact I went through three attorneys prior to meeting and deciding to go with Mrs.Helms. She is a fighter and will work tirelessly to win all the cases she takes. Her record is impressive her dedication remarkable. It is my belief after meeting and going through several local attorneys regarding my case that you will not find anyone better nor more professional.

We had a problem when a government contractor failed to pay our invoice. All of our efforts to collect were met with stonewalling and deception. Todd was of great assistance in getting this situation resolved. Throughout the process he was responsive and answered all our questions as they arose. Donald Christian has helped us with two legal issues. The firs involved an incident with a car that was loaned to someone and the car was wrecked. Don took my call on a Saturday and provided very clear and understandable direction on how to handle the situation. We followed his direction and resolved the situation without any further problems. Don not only provided sound direction but was a calm reassuring voice in a very stressful situation.

Mr Bailey replied to my question almost immediately. He was knowledgeable, & not only gave me information on my son's case, but was actually willing to look up the case. He went above and beyond in making sure an FTA warrant was recalled and got me pretrial diversion for an issue in city court. This was all in a case that, at the time, I was not sure would be easily resolved. He was very communicative through the whole process and made me feel at ease when we were in court. Aaron helped me with my contentious divorce. He communicated regularly with me, responded quickly to emails and phone calls, and made sure I understood everything that was happening. He didn't mind explaining things and answered all of my questions in detail.
