Denise took over and went to work immediately to clean up my case, after two other attorneys screwed up and took one year of my life. She was always concerned about my children and my needs. Without asking, she was very involved in understanding my children's special needs and always advised what was best for us. My case was incredibly difficult. Due to her attention to detail and strong research capability, she was successful in clearly demonstrating to the court, my ex's history to deceive the truth and hide his income to his first family for over 4 years. The court ruled twice in my favor (RFO and Attorney Fees), citing the court's inability to find him credible in any terms. By bringing in a respected vocational expert, we were able to present my ex's ability to obtain work (if he tried) and what would be his salary, even though he was stating constant unemployment and hardship in finding work.
I cannot be more grateful for knowing Denise and the privilege of having her as my attorney. She is not only the best Family Law Attorney, but will always be considered a good friend and advocate to me and my children.

I suffered a dog bite that could have ended much worse than it did and left me with a scar. I had no insurance at the time and ended up with costly ER bills. I contacted John as I had no idea how to handle this complicated situation on my own. From day one, John was empathetic and reassuring that he'd do his best to help find a proper resolution. My wife suffered a traumatic incident in which a neighbor's pit bull dog killed our dog while she was on a walk and pushing our 1 year old in a stroller. We later came to learn that the pit bull dog had attacked another family that same day causing serious injuries. It was truly a horrific time for us not knowing if or how we could ever recover from this event. With John's help, we were able to pursue and ultimately reach a settlement with the homeowner's insurance company for our loss and suffering. John also helped me get the word out to the community, joining me at a neighborhood meeting that was organized to address concerns with dog attacks in the area. John is a true professional. l had to ask a lawyer’s opinion in an emergency situation. I have called and left a message for 5 lawyers l found on the internet. The only person who called back was Bart Kaspero, - he talked to me twice on that first day and gave me advice immediately what l could do at that moment. In a couple of days he got back to me again and asked about the developments in my issue; and then gave me advice again. Mr Kaspero was very attentive and patient. Finally, we talked again couple of days later and Mr Kaspero gave me advice not to spend money on lawyers at this point n time. I was so very grateful to him and after all his work in the last week he actually did not ask for any payments. Mr Kaspero gave me back my faith in people in other professions, and that there are still quality people out there, even when life seems to be very unfair and upsetting. Thank you so very much! I had an ongoing tenant issue at my property where the tenants were not paying rent and using my property for suspected illegal activity. This issue was preventing the sale of my home. Due to the ever changing landlord-tenant laws and the eviction moratoriums in place as a response to COVID 19, I felt like there was not going to be a positive outcome to my situation. I came to AWB Law after 7 months of trying to address the issue on my own and unsuccessfully with another attorney. Anthony ultimately resolved my situation. I regained possession of my home in time to sell it before the bank defaulted on my loan.
What I specifically appreciated about Anthony, in addition to the fact that he successfully resolved my case, was:
1) He took the time initially to listen to my concerns and explained the ways in which we could approach my case. He gave me very realistic expectations at the outset and along the way.
2) Both Anthony and his staff were extremely responsive. Whether by phone or email, I was confident that if I had a concern that needed addressed, Anthony and his staff would do so in a timely manner.
3) Anthony was easy to talk to. Not all attorneys are. If you don’t feel comfortable communicating with your attorney then you’re both working at a disadvantage.

We had been having ongoing issues with our neighbors almost from the time that we moved into our home. Eventually we had to take action to stop their ongoing behavior where they made vague or outright threats to our family and continuing to cause damage to the fence we had built between the two properties. We contacted this firm who helped us determine what our rights were as to the ongoing harassment and threats and the ongoing damage to our property. They helped us file for both a restraining order to stop the harassment and another action to force the neighbors to stop damaging our property and to allow us access to it so that it could be repaired and maintained. We were able to successfully resolve both disputes with our neighbors and come to an agreement which allowed us the opportunity to maintain our property without concern for interference or ongoing harassment from our neighbors

We found ourselves dealing with a tenant who was once peaceful but, over time, had become more and more difficult to work with despite our willingness to work with the tenant to address maintenance and other issues with their rental unit. Over time, the tenant began to accuse us of things we had never done and it became clear that it was a situation that required legal assistance.
