I am extremely disappointed in this office and I guess If you’ve worked with them in the past DO NOT HIRE THEM AGAIN. I hired Kari a few years back she helped me settle a parenting plan and did great back then. As someone who has been abused my ex through the court system I hired an Attorney to represent me in court and to protect my family. Not only was I not protected, after paying the retainer fee it will be like pulling teeth to get any type of communication resulting in the judge thinking you are really doing all these contempt orders on purpose. All bs but regardless of you hire her to represent you please know you are just giving your hard earned money away for the many vacations Kari goes on. The second time around I wasn’t even important enough to meet with the attorney that would represent me. She showed up to court to represent me unprepared. Instead of letting the judge know she hadn’t had a chance to meet with me and find out what was going on it was about collecting that easy money. It’s so frustrating to hire someone and to not get the service that was promised. Not only that she will drop your case after each contempt and you have to pay a retainer for every contempt or issue that arises after. I recommend you hire someone else who actually cares I am super disappointed because I have personally recommended Kari in the past but the last year has been a total nightmare. If you want to become her cash cow I guess hire her but if you want an attorney who actually cares hire someone else. Angel Betancourt helped me with another situation and he was great to work with. I do not recommend this law office at all! They want the money but not the work. I would be in jail if I was taking people’s money and not delivering a service as promised.

I wouldn't hire Ms. Davenport to represent my dog. What an absolute waste of money and resources. This was the worst representation out of the entire county and after two court hearings I had to fire Ms. Davenport for her lack of professionalism and incompetence as an attorney. If you need to talk to her you can find her at any of the local bars being a complete booze bag. How did this lady pass the bar?

Steve kept me informed, and was always willing to meet with me. He would let me know in advance if I needed to attend scheduled hearings, and I always received an update after the hearing was completed. His staff was friendly, and made me feel very welcomed. Steve was able to achieve the goals we set for my case in a timely manner. I could not have had a better experience!!

He was lazy. He had no idea what he was doing and kept dragging the case on because he had no idea what he was doing. I think he just took my money and it was wiped out by phone calls with his staff members where I was trying to get answers. The paralegal I worked with was really nice so that is why I stayed with him as long as I did. I tried to change to his partner but Steven said I was not able to so I fired him and found a lawyer that actually did work on my case.

Mason and his paralegal did an awesome job on my case. I started out representing myself and my spouses attorney was screwing me over. Mason fixed it all and I got more than I wanted plus more. His paralegal was reliable and was able to answer my questions. If she didn’t have an answer, she would get me one that same day. I almost lost my child in this divorce and I’m SO thankful Mason and his team helped me out.

So many things were overlooked in my divorce case that I walked away with next to nothing only because it had taken almost 2 years and I just kept spending money while my ex's lawyer ran circles around Mason. He even showed up late for a mediation at his OWN office. Almost an hour late. and tried to charge me the full price. I would most definitely never use him again and would recommend my ex's lawyer any time I wanted to help somebody because I got royally...well, nothing. And "we" had a lot of assets.

I have seen this man in action. Not impressed. Went to my son's first hearing wich started at 9. My son did not see the judge until 11. In between this time I watched Mr. Younesi represent many people. Probably about 6 to 10 people. Each case seemed to be unprepaired. Mumbling and shuffling papers, did not seem to know what was going with any of his clients. I even seen some frustration coming from the judge. I thought to myself please dont let the court appoint him to my son but sure enough Mr. Younesi was! Without taking 2 mins. to at least talk to my son, he was setting the next court date 4 weeks out and didnt ask for any conditons of release or lower bail. So I decided to call him myself and see whats he's really about. A lengthy voicemail stating he will not talk to you until the day before your next court hearing to be fair to all inmates. My heart sank, my son is 18, charged with Assault 2. A strike! No way can I let this man represent my son. Especially with charges like these. Please take my word for it and higher another lawyer, if possiable or at least see if the courts can appoint someone else. This man is a joke and not professional.

Biased. Child support prosecutor for Benton county. Let my ex walk out of court twice with warrants, gave him back his lisence without making him pay any of the child support he is in contempt for:because my ex claimed to have a job interview that never materialized into a job. Let him walk out of court with a criminal warrant in the same court. Told me I can hire an attorney of my own if I don't like it. Asked him why my ex is so special and he pretended to write that down. Told me full disclosure he knows my ex from 1998 wrestling, didn't dismiss himself just used his power to help my ex avoid paying the $8k and growing arrears he owes our children. Told me not to expect to get any child support and to be happy I've gotten a few tiny payments in the year its been in the prosecutors office. Didn't get a garnishment when he knew my ex was working. Won't make my ex sell his Harley or his car. Refuses to uphold the court order. Lazy, biased, horrible prosecutor, has no business working in the child support division of the prosecutors office.

We hired Jason for family court. His communication level is fair at best. He's not aggressive. He basically just stands in court as decoration. We were awarded court costs and attorney fees to be paid by my ex. After several months of no payment Jason suggested we take him back to court. We said ok. The first hearing my ex asked for a continuance. I asked Jason if I needed to be there the following week as I didn't have a sitter available for my kids. He said no. I found out after the next hearing Jason dropped the matter without ever consulting me. When I called him out on, he said he had other ways of getting the money. Ya his way was to SUE me and my husband instead of my ex to collect his "fee". A fee he didn't earn. I recommend running as far as you can from him and don't look back. He's cheap and you get what you pay for. When dealing with family court you can't afford to waste your time on Jason. He doesn't work for you. He works for himself.

I met with Rob in early 2020 , paid a $2000.00 retainer for his help with a legal matter. I received a letter when Covid started saying there would be delays for all clients. This was the last I ever heard from him or his office. I have since called dozens of times for a refund of the remainder of my retainer as the matter I hired him for has become irrelevant in the 3 years that have passed. I have never received a call back. I would just like the retainer returned. I cannot fathom taking money from someone and never providing the service or a return of the money paid. Looking at other reviews, I see I am not alone there are plenty of others who describe similar experiences.

This attorney was too afraid to go to trial, after being hired and paid decided it was too much for her and said she didn’t want to go to trial! Like ok?? Who does? As an attorney you have an obligation to serve your clients not screw them over because your too old and can’t handle a touch case! She shouldn’t have took me on as a client if she knew she couldn’t handle it! After taking my money and putting me in a worse situation not thinking once how parents go through so much during this whole situation just to be taken advantage of! I would not recommend her ever, she might as well retire at this point!

I was faced with a parenting plan case and Kolleen was the first attorney I consulted. She told me if I was to get an attorney, that I would have to pay for an attorney for my ex and that I didn't need legal representation for my case. Both of those claims were undoubtedly false. I felt like she just pocketed my consultation fee and rushed me out her door. I would not advise anyone to consult with this attorney. I hired a much better attorney and my case went well.

Widow. Community property agreement that was drafted before my husband’s death was not recorded. Hired him to file a lack of probate so I could sell the house since he said I needed it. Paid a bill for $150 and left a message with his office to call if they needed anything. Heard nothing. Just had to pay $120 at closing a lack of probate. Mr St Hilaire reports he sent me a second bill for more money (never received) and offered no excuse for not returning my call.

Do yourself a huge favor and find another attorney Mr. Eddy does what ever he can do work in his best interest not his clients. Mr. Eddy is paid by the consumer to work for the consumer which Mr. Eddy fails to realize.

I retained Mr. Loren Eddy’s services in August 2014. On 8-8-14, we were in court so I could be made Executor of my father’s estate. Even though he could have published the Notice to Creditors on 8-13-14, he refused because he said he’s superstitious and doesn’t do things like that on the 13th. It was published a week after it should have been. Once the house sold in October, I then moved to Nampa, ID on 10-10-14. On 10-14-14 I was back in Kennewick, WA and met with Mr. Eddy to discuss the plan once he received the check from the home sale. He requested an accounting and the value of the GMC Envoy that I had kept from the estate. He also told me he would send my proposal with the accounting and a waiver form to the other heirs by 11-7-14. On 10-15-14 I emailed him the accounting, and on 10-16-14 I emailed him the value of the Envoy. The house closed on 10-17-14, and the money was supposed to be deposited in an account at Gierth-Eddy. On 10-26-14 I sent Mr. Eddy an email asking him if he received my previous emails, and if he received the check and how much it was. I got no response, so I send another email on 10-31-14. Again, I didn’t receive a response. On 11-6-14, I called and left a message requesting he respond to my questions that were in emails. Nothing. I called again on 11-10-14 and still no response. In my call on 11-14-14, I left a message stating if I didn’t hear from him by 11-17-14 I would find someone else to represent me. My husband and I decided to discontinue his services, and sent him a letter certified mail on 11-17-14 notifying him of this and that I wanted the check sent to me by 12-1-14. Around 2:30pm on 11-17-14 Mr. Eddy finally called, and he commented that he had a draft letter for me to review before sending it to the other heirs. I told him it didn’t matter as I no longer required his services and that the letter he just drafted was supposed to be out no later than 11-7-14 according to the timeline we discussed on 10-14-14. I also told him he’d be receiving a certified letter notifying him of his dismissal in writing. He received the certified letter on 11-19-14.He told me I needed to sign a form saying I was no longer his client and I told him to mail it to me. After firing Mr. Eddy, my husband looked into what would be required to close the probate on my father’s estate. We discovered that not only was probate not required, which Mr. Eddy failed to convey, but we weren’t required to send an accounting unless the other heirs requested it, which again we were not informed of. On 12-3-14 I still hadn’t received any form to sign nor had the check arrived. On 12-3-14 Mr. Eddy finally called my husband. During this conversation, Mr. Eddy claimed he had to be dismissed by a judge and could do nothing until then. If this is true, he failed to tell me during our conversation on 11-17-14, instead only stating I needed to sign a form. According to our research, since this is not a criminal case and there are no pending court dates, a judge doesn’t have to get involved. However, if a judge is required to dismiss him, he was required to immediately send me a letter stating that he was required by law to work on my case until dismissed by a judge, which he didn’t do. My husband was polite during the conversation, but Mr. Eddy got confrontational. When my husband notified him we would be pursuing criminal charges against him, he hung up the phone on my husband. Later on 12-3-14, my husband received a call from Allen at the Washington State Bar Association. According to Allen, he cannot hold the check and refuse to send it since I’m the Executor and have legal rights to it.

Hired him to be the probate lawyer of a will. For most part everything went well at first. Then now when of need of one last form to be able to close estate. He is never reachable you always leave messages either on an answering machine or with a receptionist with no return calls. Then when you finally have enough and say that is unexceptable they say you need a "phone conference" to speak to him, and its scheduled a week out even after leaving several message to have a return call over a few weeks. The "phone conference" was done and was told the we would receive the form via mail by xxx date. Needless to say we still had not received the form and are being scheduled for another phone conference. Orless you have time on your hands to wait, like poor service, and don't mind being ignored. I would go elsewhere.

My ex wife and I hired Felsted Law to create QDRO's to transfer portions of my 401K plans as required by our divorce decree. Ms. Felsted appears to have no experience whatsoever preparing QDRO's. She didn't even know that each 401K plan required its own QDRO. She has spent months on the process and still has made virtually no progress. She goes weeks at a time with no contact whatsoever. This could have been done in a few days by a competent attorney. Avoid this law firm at all costs.

Top Questions to Ask a Lawyer

When meeting with a lawyer for the first time, it's important to ask the right questions to understand their expertise and determine if they're the right fit for your legal needs. Here are some top questions to consider:
