Christian Conrad and his entire team are some of the most caring and dedicated people I have ever met in my entire life. You go into these horribly traumatizing situations in life and have to rely on strangers, and what a gift I was given these incredible bearers of light during this horribly dark time. You can count on Christian and his team to genuinely care about your case. The office is organized, well managed, and everyone there makes sure you never fall behind on your case. The office is beautiful and serene. They send copies of what they file, and you’re always informed as a client. Every time I have had to talk to anybody at the office, even during the most horrible times in my case, I was always able to find peace because of the incredibly humanizing experience it is to deal with literally any person there. I have always felt cared about, organized, informed, and respected. I hired Christian Conrad on the recommendation of a friend. Christian has to dive into a complex and agonizing custody battle due to the lies and false allegations from my ex-husband. Even with the documentation I provided the court to substantiate the lies and false allegations, the Judge ruled in favor of my ex-husband who has a criminal record and an unstable home life. While attempting to do my own Notice of Default on a judgment foreclosure (a fool for a client?), a search turned up Coby's reference. Initial consultation, laid out an aggressive plan (which included a lise pendance for an additional, as yet, unlitigated claim resulting in additional recovery following defendant's dismissed BK filing, in large part due Coby's strong objections) and remained firmly on top of the usual court system maneuvering. Property sold with 100% recovery of all principal, interest, post judgment, legal fees and court costs.
This case was handled as well as any previous action I've been involved with. Highly recommend him to anyone needing his areas of expertise. Hoping to avoid further litigation, but would welcome his representation if necessary.

We were lucky to find Aaron Morris and Deanna Stone of Morris and Stone Law Firm!
I was being named in an Anti-Slapp case by Senator Catherine Blakespear. Morris and Stone jumped in, wrote the Judge a very well thought out and detailed statement with supporting evidence from previous Supreme Court cases proving that I should not be named in the Anti-SLAPP.
In the end the judge agreed with Morris & Stone's statements in its "Entirety". It was obvious the judge was impressed with with Morris and Stone.
If I ever have any legal issues in the future I will certainly contact Aaron Morris and Deanna Stone. If you're reading this review I recommend you call them as well, they give a great consultation are extremely knowledgeable and fair.

I came to meet Susan under the most stressful conditions one might ever come across; the mother of my children was killed in the Seal Beach Salon shootings three years ago, almost to the day of this review. Acknowledging that bad things happen every day; the pain and shock experienced by my children after the loss of their mother goes beyond what any parent should ever have to witness. Two years into this nightmare, it came to my attention that multiple parties, beyond direct family members of the victims involved, had filed wrongful death suits against the shooter; I knew the kids had a family member on their mothers side who had secured counsel to handle the kids mother's estate and represent the entire family in pursuing a wrongful death law suit but I began to wonder if my kids were being represented adequately. I reached out to a friend who suggested I contact Susan to see if she could look into my concerns. As it turned out, the decision to contact Susan on behalf of my children was one of the best things I ever could have done for them! Without discussion of fees or compensation or any conditions at all, once Susan heard the circumstances involved, she immediately offered her assistance. The first thing Susan did was to check the current court records in an effort to determine who had filed and on behalf of whom; I was shocked when she reported back that the kids were not named the pending suit. This was the children’s one and only mother and they were not even on the suit; this was a shock to me. The next shock was when Susan informed me that the kids only had 4 business days to file if they even wanted to file; this was a Thursday. The more Susan dug into the facts the more she reported something didn't seem right; her instincts were spot on. Susan pulled a quick attorney/client contract together, over the weekend, which empowered her to represent the kids and drove to our personal home on a Sunday to get everything in order, allowing her to file on the kids behalf the following Monday. Once she was able to file, two days before the statuette of limitations for filing expired, only then did she find out how close the kids were to being excluded completely from any right to negotiations that were already under way. This proceeding was not subjective and I don't know exactly what went on as I was not legally involved and had no right to know, which led to my worrying about what I could not effect. Susan was reassuring to me the entire way as she walked the kids through the legalities involved and prepared them for their day in court. As emotions raged on through this process Susan never wavered, she never let the clouded and highly emotional expressions of the kids deter her from her path of assuring those kids got what their mother would very much want for them; fairness. While I was never made aware of the actual numbers involved, I know they certainly weren’t life changing, but I do know my kids are a little better off than if Susan had not come into their lives. Even after the case was closed, Susan went above and well beyond what I would ever expect out of a lawyer and she will forever hold a special place in this father’s heart. If you are looking for a lawyer who embodies the heart of a lion with the compassion of an angel, stop looking and call Susan…NOW!

I came to Vicki with an outdated will and living trust. After a friendly, warm question period, she outlined her plan. She emailed the will and trust to me within three days with the instruction to go over it, change any facts, check on name spelling and content. I emailed them back to her, as requested. The next meeting, a few days later, the will and trust were signed, witnessed and notarized. I noticed a local “OC Legal Self-Help Center” near where I work (been there for years but I never thought I would need them). So, I walked in, and it was the best thing I could have done. I was greeted by a friendly, intelligent woman named Sylvia Garcia, a Legal Document Assistant. Within fifteen minutes, she won me over! I won’t bore you with the details, but the final outcome was: my divorce was just finalized and in less than a year (would have been sooner but the courts didn’t have enough staff). She was easy to talk to, knows what she’s doing, well skilled and she will definitely get your job done! You will not be disappointed! Obviously just because you hire an attorney doesn't mean you will win, and a lot of lawyers get bad reviews because the client wasn't on the winning side. But as far as lawyers go Stefanie is awesome. She is prompt in all her e-mail responses and gives you realistic answers to questions even if its not what you want to hear. You can truly tell she cares for you as a client and isn't just looking to make money. Not to mention with most lawyers you deal with their paralegals most of the time but with Stefanie my husband and I have dealt with her directly and that is a great quality in an attorney. I spoke with several attorneys before my husband and I made the decision on which one to pick. After speaking with Stefanie on the phone I knew she was going to be our choice. We are still in the middle of all our legal proceedings and I have nothing but good things to say about her (and yes we didn't get what we wanted at our initial hearing). Stefanie is great and definitely worth retaining as legal counsel.

Used this attorney for several years because she gave me a lowered rate and knew my family matters and I thought that was relevant. In hindsight, this attorney did me no favors and has cost me money with no positive results. All matters, each time, were dragged out and all resolutions only coming about because of random luck or time fixing these family matters. I thought she was working for me but seemed to really want to stay on good terms with other attorneys in Orange County instead. I have never felt like I'd been used by an attorney so much with no clear gains. Any positive feelings I've had about the legal system has now completely changed. I am now wary and distrusting of any attorney. It's been quite a shock to have gotten to this point. I could've done much better paying more and getting a bulldog instead of the pussycat I chose. You get what you pay for people! Foolish-me, no more.

A few others and I hired Mark a few years ago. At first, it seemed to go Ok. After a while, it appeared as if our case was not important and so the communication dropped. I have not heard from Mark since October of last year. He has not been professional. In either case, we have no feedback and I am still out money.

Tried working with Mark for over 6 months. Started off fine, but communication dropped off to the point where he never returned emails or phone calls. Very unprofessional -- could have at least told us that he felt the case may not be winnable.
I definitely do NOT recommend working with him.

He was hired by my ex wife to screw me over in my divorce in the 1980s when he was with Jacoby and Myers out of Montgomery Wards department stores. Right up his alley and in my opinion he was always borderline ethical in every filing he did against me. My attorney ripped this guy a new one on multiple occasions as all he could do was subpoena me 9 times in 7 months for contempt of court even after the divorce was final. All were bogus. Nothing stuck but they just kept costing me money to defend myself against all the false accusations. He was financed by my ex's married lover with two big retainer payments to keep harassing me, until the judge put a stop to it. I questioned his ethics the entire process as did my own attorney. He played games to where my ex would agree and sign anything he suggested or wanted her to. This guy cost me over $15K of wasted legal fees back in 1985 because of his games. Today, I view it as a bargain for not having to be with my ex. Today she is a very lonely person and it all has roots with this excuse of a lawyer. .
In these other comments, he clearly has never changed and sounds to be just such a big scumbag as he was then and prays on emotions and is more than willing to take people's hard earned money for himself. I can only say, stay away from this guy. He is real bad news.

I used this attorney as my friend had used him prior. My case was a bit more difficult but nothing that could not be solved. We went to court 3 times in 2010 only for Mr. Bisson to say it was easier for me to close my child support case since I was working and my ex wasn't so I'd probably have to pay him even though I have my child 88% of the time-really? He told me since my CSS case would be closed, I would not be entitled to any child support. As of March of 2012, I hadn't heard from him since October of 2010. You bet I'm sending him a request for the unused portion of my retainer. I had to end up hiring another attorney this year 2012. Don't waste your money.

He seems like a nice guy but he sucks as an attorney! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!!! He is disorganized, out of date (no email contact or cell contact), and does not know how to present a case. I got screwed and it was ALL because of how he failed to handle things properly.
