It took a team to accomplish my divorce. The two main people I would like to thank separately is my attorney Michael Perez and Kimberly Haro, great legal team.
I had a good experience with Envision, last year 2024 I started my process for a divorce. My divorce was tricky because my "husband" has been MIA since 2018. I realized that I needed an attorney to accomplish this goal for divorce instead of following the advice of family & friends to "do it on your own it should be easy."
IT WASN'T EASY & I WOULD STILL BE AT THE START LINE AND HAVING ALREADY PULLED OUT ALL MY HAIR TRYING TO DO THIS ON MY OWN.
I am an overthinker nothing is easy for us, I am pretty sure at the beginning I was driving the staff at Envision a little crazy with all my questions & concerns. Its okay I saw it on my invoices and of course no complaints they should charge me for all my questions and concerns. But I got the answers I needed and after awhile I let them handle it and left them alone to do their job I hired them for. They made this experience as painless as possible for me, my divorce took almost a year but like I said it was a tricky one. There is also a lot of hurry up and wait moments (i.e.. court filings). Getting a divorce you need to understand it takes time and does not happen with a snap of your fingers. Just know with Envision it will happen and as fast as they possibly can get it for you.

This law firm only best interest is money. Not you as a client. Please read this again! They will double bill you, double charge you and change the words on the statements to make it seem as if it's different paperwork they are filing. Also, the attorney will tell you that you can pay 6k and that will cover one court appearance. This is also false. I've already paid this firm over 10k and still paying as I'm still in the process. I suggest finding a lawyer who has a flat rate fee. I have not seen any production with this firm whatsoever. At this point I'm just dumping money for the same paperwork to be filed. Please save yourself the stress and time and find somewhere else! You will barely ever speak with the actual attorney only the paralegals. They seem to know very little about their jobs. If I wasn't so far in I'd represent myself. By the time this is all over I'm sure they will break the bank. Don't walk but run to another firm and do your research!

I would try to call and talk to someone in the office about my case and they would say that I had to wait for Nigel because he was the one handling my case. I would have gotten a better deal if I were to have went to court alone. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FIRM. THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR REVIEWS BEFORE THEY EVEN FINISH YOUR CASE. I don't do a lot of reviews, but I want to take the time for Gold & Witham. I feel like they really helped me. I worked with Nigel Witham. He did an excellent job at explaining what was happening, and what was going to happen in our case. I felt he genuinely wanted to help me. He was easy to talk to, and helped me understand what could be done about my situation. After speaking with him, I didn't feel so lost anymore. I had a direct line of contact to them any time I had questions. I felt like I was in good hands the entire time he worked on my case, AND they saved me $1,700.00 in court costs!

Nadine Orliczky is part of a capable and motivated family law firm. She is an excellent strategist who helped me navigate a potentially complex and difficult case. Whenever we met, I received her undivided attention, and I felt my family’s well-being consistently considered. The firm became the clean-up team for a divorce that had already gone bad. I was referred to Catherine Grant Wieder by LA County Bar Association. I made an appointment with her and received an email confirming it. My father wanted to put his house in my name and make a living trust. Her secretary said that Catherine didn't have any appointment with me. I showed her the email on my cellphone. We had to wait for another 20 minutes. After Catherine looked at my father's assets she implied that I was taking advantage of my father. Then she said she wouldn't do the work but a couple in Claremont, CA would do the work and handled me their brochure. I would never recommend Catherine Grant Wieder. Luckily I found a nice lawyer who did my father's legal work with courtesy and respect.

His office set up a Trust for.my elderly Father. Good documentation. When a dispute occurred between sibling beneficiaries they said get another Lawyer to represent me in probate court. Recommended an Attorney with a low online rating. The old man knows his stuff but his kids show they need more experience. Recommend them only for trust paperwork. Fees are reasonable.

This lawyer 'prepared' trust papers for a friend. They were not even notarized or witnessed and other 'legal' documents she signed had dates that were hand written over other dates. Am pretty sure they don't teach this as proper protocol in law school. Also, never had the courtesy to return numerous phone calls made to her. This totally lacks professionalism, respect for clients and accountability. Shame on her!

I have a “soft tissue” injury case from a car accident 3.5 years ago. Unfortunately, my case ended up going to trial.
I originally hired Lawrence Lallande, who was unavailable to represent me due to vacation plans he did not want to change, so he hired Minh Nguyen to represent my case at trial, assisted by Karina Lallande (Lawrence’s daughter, Lallande Law).
The total award/judgment was $300,452.
I received 8% of the total award.
Lallande Law and Law offices of Minh T. Nguyen spent over $178k on my case, (including an 11k hotel bill at a “boutique hotel”).
Their profit was over $97k (4 times as much as I received--not including the exorbitant amount they spent on trial costs, hotels, and dinners).
The Honorable Judge Thomas W. Wills made the following statement during trial:
“I have not seen behavior like the repeated transgressions of the Plaintiff’s counsel in this case in nearly 40 years in this business.”
Overall, in addition to the terrible financial outcome in my case (I didn’t even come close to recouping my lost wages from time off work for medical treatment), I did not have a good experience, or feel secure with either Minh or Karina. I never knew what to expect and felt severely under-communicated with. Prior to going on the stand for hours over 2 days, I had received hardly any instruction or prep from my attorneys.
Overall, I did not have a good experience. I trusted that they knew what they were doing—assuming that if we won, the proverbial "proof would be in the pudding.” As it turned out, the pudding was rancid—despite “winning” the trial. I would STRONGLY recommend to avoid both Minh Nguyen Law and Lallande Law.

Mr. Haas was the best thing I could have done when fighting my criminal case against Fullerton. I hired another attorney when my case started with I was not happy with. After expressing my disappointment with my previous attorney, I was referred to Mr. Haas and it was the best thing decision I ever made! Mr. Haas was very professional, answered all my questions and returned all my phone calls.
During trial, he showed me how much of a professional defense attorney he was and made the OCDA look amateur. After a 4 week trial, I was acquitted of my charges. After our criminal case had completed, we went on to sue the city of Fullerton on a federal case! Once again, Mr. Haas came through and we won that case as well.

She helped my ex husband take my children from me and deny me hundreds of thousands of dollars I was entitled to because I was supposedly “on drugs” which were antidepressants but they made me “crazy”. The truth is I had no lawyer and was misdiagnosed by said ex husband as bipolar and was on many meds I never should have been on for nearly 2 decades. I am now off all meds (minus a mild prescription allergy med that is stronger than OTCs but doesn’t make me drowsy.) except maybe an occasional Aleve for neck and spinal arthritis. I am owed well over $150,000 that she managed to manipulate me out of. Now I find out she’s DISBARRED!?!? My ex has had a talent of finding exceptional women. I admit I wasn’t a gem. But Guerin??? And his current wife??? Either one are way worse than I ever was. He has always had a nose for crazy b*******.

I've had David as my lawyer for 5 straight years now. He's been by my side through all my court cases. Thanks to David I get over 3000 a month in child support for my 3 daughters and we are still fighting for more! He is absolutely the best lawyer! He keeps me informed and is patient in receiving payment from me for all his hard work. He is on Top of my case every step of the way. I thank God every day for this man and feel very blessed to have him as my lawyer. Keep in mind when searching for a lawyer, do your research and find out for YOURSELF what kind of lawyer your hiring. David is a FAMILY/LAW lawyer and a great one at that! I hired this attorney to represent in a criminal case recently and he did absolutely NOTHING for me. And with good reason, on our third or fourth court appearance in this matter, he said "I am not really a criminal lawyer.." By this time, I had already incurred almost $2000 in attorney fees alone. You would have thought that for that kind of money, he would have at least tried keeping me out of jail, but he actually wanted me to do time! I could have done just as good representing myself without the expense. In case you wonder, the crime I committed was Driving With a Suspended License.

Hugo has been my so called attorney since 2009 . I never was kept up to date on anything. I call every 20 minutes and he's either on the phone or in court doing NOTHING. I called again today 9/18 and ditched me AGAIN . I

Hugo has been my attorney since 2009,and he has been wonderful to me .I was recommended by a friend to go see him and since then I have recommended two other people to go see him. In 2011 I was told I had pancreatic cancer so I called him because I was worried about my family and he was very sympathetic and understanding.A couple days later I received a letter from him telling me that he was sorry for my recent diagnosis.And he would do what he could to help me and my family. That letter is what got me through a very scary time in my life, and made me feel he was looking out for me. I later was told that a mistake had been made and after many tests that were done, I did'by have cancer.
So I thank him everyday in my prayers for not only being a great attorney ,but a great human being.

Marc was my lawyer in an employment case that went on for months. I had discussed my case with him several times and when I stopped by his office to discuss my case, he had no clue what the case was about. After about $28k later we dropped him. Very nice guy but not a lawyer you should hire. You need a lawyer who is a little sharp, and not a grand pa lawyer who has a little Alzheimer's.
