Rob Brodsky @Malik Law was a huge help in bringing closure to an insurance claim that dragged on for 1+ year. After banging our heads against the wall with an insurance company that was being absolutely ridiculous with their settlement claims for over a year and a half he was able to settle out with our insurance for a reasonable fee in 2-3 months. This was my second experience with a family law attorney for my custody case. I was represented my Ophelia Bernal-Mora. Unlike the first time I had an attorney, I walked away from the case feeling like I was represented by someone who clearly was representing my interests, knew what she was doing, and moreover, cared! She is extremely knowledgeable (heck she is board certified and worth every penny!) and when there is another modification or contempt issue filed in my case, she will be the attorney I go to without hesitation. She is very up to date on case law and the laws and I think knew more than the judge we had did. She does not overbill or nickel and dime on her billing like I experienced with my first attorney. It can get expensive, but I think you get what you pay for and for a board certified family law attorney which there are not many from what I could find, her prices are pretty reasonable. Her firm also no charged many many items throughout my case to my surprise and satisfaction. She is clearly not in it just for the money and wants to help people. I cannot thank her enough! Save yourself the trouble and don't let your ex hire her first! You will not be disappointed! She is very professional and does not get bullied by other attorneys.

There are not enough words to describe the work Andrew did for me! I WILL ETERNALLY BE GRATEFUL for the precise and over the top work him and his team performed. Andrew was the third (3rd) lawyer in my case, which was extended for years due to incompetent lawyers on both ends (my ex-wife and mine). Where do I start? I hired Andrew 2 years ago for a divorce and he's been a godsend. I don't think I would've been able to get through my divorce without him. He was always available to speak with me and answer my questions even if they were silly. He is very sharp and on top of his career. He knows his stuff. I had a rather complicated divorce and a difficult ex and he handled it like a champ every step of the way.

Attorney Nickolaou represented me on a gender name change. He was so down to earth and understanding and knew his stuff about name changes and the gender marker change process. He also was not judgmental at all like a couple other attorneys I spoke too were when they realized I was transgender. I had never needed a lawyer before. I did not want a billboard lawyer and was doing some research online. When I came across Sarah I just instinctively KNEW. From our first meeting to the end of the case I felt like a person in need who mattered, not just another client. She and her staff really take the time to develop a relationship with you and put your needs first. I felt like I was in a jungle with no idea what to do. Her kindness, empathy, professionalism, and knowledge helped me out of the dark place I was in and got me back to feeling whole. The entire process was taken care of. I did not have to worry about anything. She and her staff took care of even the smallest details you never know you need help with after an accident.
I was in another accident yrs after the first and was terrified. It was a Holiday and I just left her a message. I did not have to wait at all... she personally called me back at the scene and took the time to help me through yet another dark place.
I can’t say enough about Sarah and how she truly cares about YOU, your wellbeing and getting you back to whole. Everything about the experience of working with her was absolute perfection.

The first time I was in a car wreck, I was referred to Sarah Goldman through a family attorney who had worked with my parents for some time. I was very impressed with Attorney Cheri Hobbs and her team at Compass Law. I have dealt with many lawyers over the years, Vanessa is the best that I have dealt with. Even though she has not been practicing for a long time, her understanding of the law and research skills are top notch, you would think she has 30 years of experience when dealing with her. My experience with lawyers is similar to my experience with doctors, they don't get back to you, make you wait, and have limited patience. Vanessa is the opposite. She actually cares about her client, she will email at all times of the day or night, answer questions, text message, and calm nervous clients down. I had a recent experience in Family court, and her compassion will never be forgotten. During my 37 year career as a law enforcement officer and as Chief of Police for the past 16 years I have worked with many attorneys. Sam was a relief from my crazy, stressful case. I went through a tough divorce, and things got really contentious. We thought things would be easy and amicable and then out of no where my ex started shutting down accounts, hiding money, and accusing me of everything he could think of.
She had just the right touch of when to be aggressive and when to negotiate. She was so knowledgeable and great in court. She was clearly more prepared than the other lawyer and had all the evidence ready to go!
