We met with Ron, at Shep Law Group, for a free consultation. He was very helpful, honest and supported our needs. He was willing to suggest a next course of action, explain what our options were and give us what we needed to know if we wanted to pursue legal action or not. My wife and I were referred to Joe by a financial advisor who had referred several people previously to Joe. He endorsed Joe highly. I even returned to my advisor to ask him if the service really was worth the cost and time. He reassured me and we pressed forward. I am so glad that we did! My mother and I hired Joseph after my grandmothers death, and again after my grandfathers death to help us navigate the legal system in regards to wills, etc. He has been incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and considerate of us the entire time. A few months ago, I was faced with two tickets that would affect both my record and insurance prices for my trucking business. I decided to hire Olivia to see what could be done to lessen the charge. Last year I completed a job for my flooring company and our policy is 15-30 net days to get our invoices paid. One general contractor that hired me to complete the job started delaying the payment once the invoice became due. After weeks and months of false promises and evading, I had to contact Olivia for help. Olivia took her time out of her weekend to hear me out and draw up a plan. It was my first experience reaching out for an attorney for a real problem. Olivia sent them a letter so the invoice would be paid. Within days, I already received a phone call from the contractors company, that they can send out a check. I thought it would have to go to small claims court but Olivia made it into a quick turn around. Minimal time was lost and money as well. Glenn is a stud. He will give you the best chance at beating your case and or the best plea agreement possible. I got my first DUI a few months ago and was very happy with the outcome. He is always easy to get a hold of and very helpful every step of the way. He even called after the case was settled just to check up and see how I was doing with the courts requirements of me. I have never had an attorney do that. I will use him again in a heart beat (Hope I never have too of course) and would recommend him to anyone. He is the real deal. I had gone through multiple lawyers in my custody dispute with my ex. No matter who the lawyer was, I always spent a fortune and never got more than every other weekend and extended 3 day weekends every other weekend in the summers. I even tried to do Court myself but the system chewed me up and spit me out. I had lost hope but a friend told me to call John. I figured this would be another lawyer upselling my chances or being so vague I wouldn't know realistically what I could expect. John wouldn't upsell me, but after taking a look at my documents and collecting information from me, he told me he couldn't understand how I had so little custody. He was 1/2 the price of my previous lawyer per hour. I figured I had done everything else, I may as well try with this guy. Fast forward to a year and four months (forever to get to trial) later and I have 50/50 custody of my daughters. My ex tried all of her usual tricks and tried to spend me out of my lawyer by filing every single ridiculous motion she could. John defended against every motion, got whole portions of her evidence tossed, you name it. When I last went to court in early 2019, I spent $36,000 on my lawyer only for him to basically threaten me to take a bad deal.. My total cost with John was just under $15,000. It may still sound high to some but considering what I had previously spent on a lawyer and the fact that I got what was right, I would gladly spend it again a thousand times to have my girls. If you need help with custody, look no further!

I got divorced and needed my will redone. I asked my Bishop and he recommended John. I was married when I was in the Army and had a will done by JAG. It was a fairly standard thing for most of us and only a few pages. John wrote up a will, power of attorney, living will, and HIPAA compliance documents. Everything was perfect. He listened to exactly what I wanted and covered every single thing I was concerned about, especially if I were to die while my kids are still kids. The documents are super-thorough and contain protections for everything, even social media. The fee was reasonable to begin with and he gave me a veterans discount on top of that. You can’t go wrong with this guy!

“John helped me and my family when my mom needed a medical power of attorney. My mother is a bit of hothead and didn’t want to get the power done. When I brought in John, she said she didn’t trust us and especially attorneys because they’re all liars. John pulled out his phone, dialed a number and gave the phone to Mom telling her that if she thought he was lying to her that she could call the Idaho bar and report him and his bar number. He told her if she didn’t want the power, he would leave and that would be that. We were shocked! She spoke with him alone, and then she agreed she needed it. He even spent (not billed) time with Mom talking to her about her days growing up in the Treasure Valley on our family’s dairy. She took a liking to him more than she did with most of her own kids! He got the document done, and Mom was happy. Can’t recommend John enough!”

It has been two years and nine months since my slip and fall accident. I was fortunate enough to make contact with Russell Johnson of Johnson and Lundgreen, PC in Meridian, Idaho. I had a free consultation and was pleased to have my case accepted.
This has been a long and difficult journey to recovery. I had three major surgeries in 8 months, one infection that required six weeks of intravenous antibiotics through a PICC line along with several weeks of oral antibiotics. Pain, decreased function, depression, and financial hardship were the results of this.

After we had a shady unregistered contractor cause about $22,000 worth of damage to our property, ate a $3,500 down payment, then completely blow us off back in 2022, we were recommended to this office and Victor Villegas by a family member to help us start a case. We were initially under the impression that Victor was willing and able to help us with our case, but upon our first in-person meeting we were quickly passed off to Joe Southers. Since the contractor that caused the damage was unregistered in the state of Idaho, everyone emphasized to us that he made it really easy to go after him, and that this case was an easy win. We were super excited at this news, seeing as we could not afford to eat an expense like this. They immediately ran into problems with actually getting in touch with the contractor, and paperwork sent to the address we were given by him was refused, so the case came to a screeching standstill before it could even gain any ground.
Upon brainstorming what the next steps could be, including a suggestion from us to have a sheriff “serve” the papers, and expressing our willingness to pursue these options at any cost, it was clear Joe was not excited about these options when nothing happened after that. After a couple months it was mentioned that we could do an ad in the paper for a period of time, and let the case go straight to a judge for automatic judgement, in which if the contractor doesn’t show up to court, it’s pretty much an immediate win. Again, we expressed that we would love to pursue this avenue, but again we were given silence on updates. I believe we waited about 6 months to hear from Joe on any updates but correspondence on his end was nonexistent. We eventually called him to ask for any updates and to see if the ad in the paper had ever even happened, to which he pretty much couldn’t remember who we were and which case this was. After we called him to discover he pretty much blew off our case for 6 months, we also received a bill where he charged us for the phone call in which we all but reminded him of who we were, and to do his job. We were also billed for him to “revise” an already completed one-paragraph complaint form to the contractor for two hours…. Between these and the other sometimes questionable lawyer fees we had already had to pay previously, we decided to drop the case. It became extremely clear to us that Joe did not care. We were definitely not a priority for him, and he even seemed very arrogant and upset when we told him we were ready to drop the case after having him string us along for almost a year with absolutely no progress. There was just never anything to show for the next hefty bill from this office. It was after the case was already dropped that we found out Joe was actually able to finally get in contact with the contractor. This was just never at any point mentioned to us. So, we had no idea. The methods at which communication was conducted was either nonexistent or unprofessional, such as finding things out through the grapevine once my family member was told, despite that family member wanting zero involvement in our case outside of the initial introductions. Overall working with Joe was a very expensive waste of time. We never at any point felt he had our best interest at heart.

After we had a shady unregistered contractor cause about $22,000 worth of damage to our property, ate a $3,500 down payment, then completely blow us off back in 2022, we were recommended to this office and Victor Villegas by a family member to help us start a case. We were initially under the impression that Victor was willing and able to help us with our case, but upon our first in-person meeting we were quickly passed off to Joe Southers. Since the contractor that caused the damage was unregistered in the state of Idaho, everyone emphasized to us that he made it really easy to go after him, and that this case was an easy win. We were super excited at this news, seeing as we could not afford to eat an expense like this. They immediately ran into problems with actually getting in touch with the contractor, and paperwork sent to the address we were given by him was refused, so the case came to a screeching standstill before it could even gain any ground.
Upon brainstorming what the next steps could be, including a suggestion from us to have a sheriff “serve” the papers, and expressing our willingness to pursue these options at any cost, it was clear Joe was not excited about these options when nothing happened after that. After a couple months it was mentioned that we could do an ad in the paper for a period of time, and let the case go straight to a judge for automatic judgement, in which if the contractor doesn’t show up to court, it’s pretty much an immediate win. Again, we expressed that we would love to pursue this avenue, but again we were given silence on updates. I believe we waited about 6 months to hear from Joe on any updates but correspondence on his end was nonexistent. We eventually called him to ask for any updates and to see if the ad in the paper had ever even happened, to which he pretty much couldn’t remember who we were and which case this was. After we called him to discover he pretty much blew off our case for 6 months, we also received a bill where he charged us for the phone call in which we all but reminded him of who we were, and to do his job. We were also billed for him to “revise” an already completed one-paragraph complaint form to the contractor for two hours…. Between these and the other sometimes questionable lawyer fees we had already had to pay previously, we decided to drop the case. It became extremely clear to us that Joe did not care. We were definitely not a priority for him, and he even seemed very arrogant and upset when we told him we were ready to drop the case after having him string us along for almost a year with absolutely no progress. There was just never anything to show for the next hefty bill from this office. It was after the case was already dropped that we found out Joe was actually able to finally get in contact with the contractor. This was just never at any point mentioned to us. So, we had no idea. The methods at which communication was conducted was either nonexistent or unprofessional, such as finding things out through the grapevine once my family member was told, despite that family member wanting zero involvement in our case outside of the initial introductions. Overall working with Joe was a very expensive waste of time. We never at any point felt he had our best interest at heart.

I had been fighting a contested divorce and custody battle as a father for almost 5 years. The last 2 years I have been representing myself ProSe after essentially losing everything and running out of money.
Being in the middle of a trial representing yourself is very difficult, confusing, and frustrating. 10/10 would not recommend👌ever… unless you absolutely have to.
