We hired John to help us with a patent and a trademark. What we liked the most is that he is a straight shooter and will tell you exactly where you stand and what options you have, without sugarcoating anything in order to get your business.
He was also very fast at answering any concerns we had even when he was out of the office. Overall, very professional and knowledgeable on the subject. We will continue working with John when it comes to trademarks and patents.

I usually don't write reviews for services received. However, it wouldn't be fair to not write one for Hilary Metz. She was an amazing attorney during the 3 months I worked with her. She always went "above and beyond" for me. She ALWAYS told me how it really was, not what she knew I wanted to hear. Her fees are very fair. She WILL NOT drag things on in order to bill more hours for herself. Hilary has always been easy to reach and quick to reply with an answer. Basically, she's everything you could want in an attorney. I am very pleased I chose Hilary Metz for my legal situation. And don't let her young age deter you. This woman had more ethics and confidence than attorneys I've hired in the past. She helped me with a real estate case, even though that's not her principal specialty. Looking back, one would have never known. She always kept me informed and ALWAYS looked out for my best interest. All I can say is you won't be disappointed with Hilary Metz. She did all she could to help me through a very difficult period in my life and I will always be grateful to her.

I hired this lawyer because my homeowner's insurance offered very little money to fix my home due to a collapsed roof. My lawyer was able to secure a settlement allowing me to repair all the damages in my home without filing suit. Since he did not file suit, he did not receive any compensation for his services. He was clearly acting on my behalf, not his own. He is very professional and responsive to his client's needs.

As a recent client of Michael Schiff, Esq., I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation. After months of unsuccessful conversations with the dealership where I purchased the vehicle & exhausting countless hours trying to negotiate with the manufacturers "Executive Customer Relationship Team", my patience ran out and I began my search for an attorney who had strong knowledge with The Florida Lemon Law. I found Mr. Schiff through my company's legal plan and retained him in November 2011. During our first meeting, Mr. Schiff set expectations clearly and advised me it would take approximately 3-4 months to fully resolve the case. Mr. Schiff used this time to gather documents & research the repair history of this make and model to build the framework around the case. I have used Brian for various legal items over the past 14 years. His intentions and trustworthiness are beyond reproach.
If there is ever a topic that he feels he could use additional guidance on when addressing a topic where he has less experience, he will seek it and advise the client of such.
I have spoken with counsel who have worked across from him who have suggested that he is a worthy opponent who tries to resolve and do what is in his clients best interest, rather than building a file for his personal benefit.
He is open to ideas and suggestions and is a good listener who will provide the very best advise he can.
Work is always completed in a time efficient manner and at a reasonable cost relative to a firm of his size.

I would highly suggest hiring this attorney (suggesting an attorney does not come easy for me). I, for one, would not recommend 95% of the attorneys that I have used. Having hired at least 20 attorneys in the last 20 years gives me a full understanding of what to expect.
Jay was easy to deal with, fair in price, and easy to get on the phone. Those are rare traits in the legal field!!
Jay's expertise is in criminal law.
P.S. I had very good luck with this attorney too which is unusual for me and the court system.
