I was exceptionally fortunate to have Valerie Arnold represent me during an extremely complex international separation and custody case dealing with challenging jurisdictional issues. We had a difficult foster adoption case. He was straight forward and told me what I needed to hear not what I wanted to hear. This ended up saving our family from what would have been a large financial burden. He spent a lot of time on us without ever being signed up to represent us yet. James helped me with absolutely everything about my divorce, all the way from discussing with me the language I did not understand and helped me see the bigger picture in what was a very messy divorce. Lee is such a rock star! Absolutely wonderful to work with. To name specifics - she explained my options, was very thorough and strategic. She listened to me and heard me and worked with me towards with my goals while guiding me if she thought I wouldn't win or it was not worth the legal fees, etc. She is actually direct and speedy as well. We were faced with quite an immigration mess after learning of a mishandled PERM application, but Rachel's quick guidance and diligence to go above and beyond turned the whole situation around. Throughout my time running a PE firm over the past 15 years I've brushed shoulders with my fair share of lawyers. Even though most are decent, I rarely find those that are truly excellent. I'm happy to say that has been the case with Elliot, Kirsten, and Erin. My group found ourselves in a pretty sticky and complex situation, and Elliot and his team got us the very best possible outcome. They were professional, concise, and very easy to work with. They worked quickly to gather all the information surrounding our issue and understand it completely. Then they took the reins and guided the situation, but always asked for input and direction from us along the way. They were even cool enough to allow my estate attorney to participate without being at all territorial.
Although I don't feel like I have unreasonable expectations, I do hold professionals to a high standard, and I'm happy to say that I would 100% use Elliot and his team in the future.

I had Elaine as a lawyer for a quite bit time now working on my Asylum case. The experience we had from our case wasn't usual . It was very competitive, stressful for her and me , full of surprise and sometimes full of negative answers but most of all something new for me because it was my first case . Elaine was there when i needed her all the time on time.she even made me smile by her joke to make me comfortable. She is a pretty good , experimented, focus , loyal and the honest person i have never seen in my life since i am here. For that i am thankful to her and admire her sens of humanity because she put people first and not money first even if we all know she get paid for what she is working on. she is open, friendly , helpful , reliable , a hard worker but most of all she got a great heart .
i will have a lot more to say but not enough space so i cut in the throat now .Just to say that she helped me stay in the usa while there were trouble in my country and left my parents and siblings home between threats, fear, violence even death. Today was my trial date and a miracle happened again due of all the support , her assistance as a lawyer and her extremely faith . I have been granted for 3 years of staying+ a employment authorization from the judge . Elaine helped us process a marriage green card case two years ago. When we met her for an initial consultation, we immediately noticed that she was very knowledgeable and experienced about the entire process. Her professionalism and courtesy was extended throughout the process and she treated our case as if it was her own.
Even though she did not have to, she showed up to our court date and prepped us before the interview. She knew all of the tips to get the case processed quickly and efficiently. Elaine even called us two years after she handled our case to remind us to file paperwork to lift the condition on the green card!

I hired David for an employment discrimination case and was fully satisfied with his support throughout the process, and the results. David listened and consulted with me at every step. He explained the options and the advantages and disadvantages, and supported me in whatever decisions I made. David is empathetic and kind, but also pragmatic and super knowledgeable on the law. It is hard to describe what a great lawyer Jeff is. Not only does he have a very strong command of immigration law, but he is also an all-around great person and a true joy to work with. He is very passionate about helping his clients and it shows. He will go above and beyond to help you and he'll make sure that you fully understand the process and he will answer any question that you might have and he leaves no stone unturned in his effort to guarantee the best outcome for your case. His pricing is very reasonable and you can tell that he is not doing this for the money because I talked to other lawyers before hiring him and his pricing was much more affordable. When you work with him you'll quickly realize that his first priority is solving your case and NOT charging you.
We had a very complex immigration case. I would say something that most immigration lawyers do not see very often. Jeff took it on and did a ton of research and reviewed other cases to find precedence and it took a few years (mainly because of how backed up the immigration court in my district was) but eventually we got the best possible outcome and as of last week, I became a US citizen, thanks to Jeff's diligence and expertise.

I was served papers a few months ago on an old credif card that went to collections. I found Randall online in a quick search online and sent a request for a quote. He got back to me immediately. The day my doorbell rang and I was being served papers stating I was being sued by a law firm representing and old school loan I had forgotten. I thought there was no way this was going to end good, I was a nervous wreck! Being recommended to Randall was the best recommendation! From the day I met him he was very understanding not judgmental on the situation, he was very personable and friendly and even though I had no idea how this would turn out he put me at ease. This at times was a very emotional scary process, but every time I felt this way he went out of his way to call me and make me feel at ease. He took every step possible to make sure everything about my case was legit as in our day in age there are alot of scams out there. He helped me understand my rights, my options and ultimately in the end he helped me receive the best deal I could have gotten. We settled this before it went any further than being served those papers, no court and no judgement. Since the first time I spoke with Brandon I knew he was the right one. Even tho I still received many many calls from other lawyers I knew I already had the right choice. Didn’t disappoint it took longer than expected but I can take the blame for that because I dragged on getting him the documents he needed. Scott was my attorney for a divorce that got very messy. Among other things, my ex-wife attempted to relocate my daughter to another city, had me served with a frivolous restraining order, and tried to have our parenting consultant removed after our divorce.
Throughout all of this, Scott provided excellent representation and guidance. Early in the case, he laid out a roadmap for how I would be able to maintain involvement in my daughter’s life and protect her interests. He showed me how I would be at serious risk of losing parenting time with my daughter if I did not make the right choices. As the divorce progressed, things went as Scott predicted, and I now have a custody and parenting time arrangement that is great for both my daughter and me.
Scott was never rattled by anything he encountered with my case. He has deep knowledge of Minnesota family law, and he had a strategic approach to every situation we faced. He gave me wise advice and encouraged me to take the high road. He was highly professional and ethical, and he helped me minimize my legal costs. I can tell that he cares about helping his clients, not just getting the job done.
Another thing I appreciated was that Scott tries to avoid litigation whenever possible. He prefers to settle things through mediation or direction negotiation, and he avoids pointless conflict. However, when my ex-wife took aggressive actions against me, Scott gave strong responses and forced her to back down. He tries to keep things amicable, but he is not afraid to take a strong stance when necessary.
We had only a single court hearing, when my ex-wife attempted to have our parenting consultant removed after the divorce. Scott gave compelling oral arguments and helped the judge see our perspective, even though she initially was inclined to grant my ex-wife’s request. She ruled in our favor after the hearing, and there is no doubt that Scott’s courtroom arguments were key to that outcome.
I feel very fortunate to have worked with Scott in my divorce. I could not have asked for a better outcome, and Scott’s representation and advice are what made it possible. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family law attorney.

I had a very difficult family law issue regarding my ex-spouse's ongoing parenting plan violations and documented parental alienation efforts on my daughter. I had spent years working w/ past attorneys and family therapists to help ameliorate some of the more destructive effects of my kids' mother's behavior. The clock was running out quickly for any type of legally enforceable remedies - family therapy or otherwise.
Scott promptly assessed my case via his legal assistant and decided that I had run out of legal remedies. I still needed more info so I scheduled a paid consultation. When we finally met, Scott immediately cut to the chase and in just a few minutes gave me a complete and definitive legal prognosis about winning any additional legal action or even getting my daughter into any type of reunification therapy. Zippo chance. I had previously spent thousands working w/ another attorney just trying to get this answered.
Scott correctly perceived that our family issues were far more than legal. He spent the remaining 45-50 minutes of our 1 hour consult giving me some of the best family therapy advice I ever had. He had seen a lot of parental alienation cases and understood the long-term affect on adolescents and parents. He was empathetic. He understood the big picture. I would go so far as to say that single session was transformative. I so wish I had found him at the beginning of my divorce. With Scott, I knew I would have definitely gotten what I paid for.
For all who read this, please be aware that for many going through a divorce, you get one chance to do it right. After that, you can nibble at the edges w/ some modifications but if you don't have a competent attorney fighting for you from the start, you could get utterly steamrollered. I spent more on legal fees trying to enforce a court order drawn up by my original "econo-lawyer" then I did for the original divorce.
Scott knew what I needed and not only did he not try to sell me more futile legal services, he even waived the consult fee. His generosity of time, counsel and spirit made him stand out head and shoulders w/ any other family attorney I worked with over the past 7 years.
