I was served papers a few months ago on an old credif card that went to collections. I found Randall online in a quick search online and sent a request for a quote. He got back to me immediately. He handled everything quickly and made sure I understood everything surrounding the case. The experience was 100% stress free knowing I had him in my corner. He even worked during his vacation! I am extremely pleased with the outcome and quick responses. I hope to never have to hire Randall again, but would not hesitate to if needed. The day my doorbell rang and I was being served papers stating I was being sued by a law firm representing and old school loan I had forgotten. I thought there was no way this was going to end good, I was a nervous wreck! Being recommended to Randall was the best recommendation! From the day I met him he was very understanding not judgmental on the situation, he was very personable and friendly and even though I had no idea how this would turn out he put me at ease. This at times was a very emotional scary process, but every time I felt this way he went out of his way to call me and make me feel at ease. He took every step possible to make sure everything about my case was legit as in our day in age there are alot of scams out there. He helped me understand my rights, my options and ultimately in the end he helped me receive the best deal I could have gotten. We settled this before it went any further than being served those papers, no court and no judgement. He is very honest and very responsive, he was on vacation and still went out of his way to take care of my case in a timely manner. I would highly recommend him he is amazing in every way! I was sued two years ago by a well known predatory debt collector. I contacted and hired Randall to represent me. Since the first time I spoke with Brandon I knew he was the right one. Even tho I still received many many calls from other lawyers I knew I already had the right choice. Didn’t disappoint it took longer than expected but I can take the blame for that because I dragged on getting him the documents he needed. But as soon as I got him everything it took him weeks to get me approved and a check to me. Very happy with Brandon. You won’t be disappointed. Scott was my attorney for a divorce that got very messy. Among other things, my ex-wife attempted to relocate my daughter to another city, had me served with a frivolous restraining order, and tried to have our parenting consultant removed after our divorce.
Throughout all of this, Scott provided excellent representation and guidance. Early in the case, he laid out a roadmap for how I would be able to maintain involvement in my daughter’s life and protect her interests. He showed me how I would be at serious risk of losing parenting time with my daughter if I did not make the right choices. As the divorce progressed, things went as Scott predicted, and I now have a custody and parenting time arrangement that is great for both my daughter and me.
Scott was never rattled by anything he encountered with my case. He has deep knowledge of Minnesota family law, and he had a strategic approach to every situation we faced. He gave me wise advice and encouraged me to take the high road. He was highly professional and ethical, and he helped me minimize my legal costs. I can tell that he cares about helping his clients, not just getting the job done.
Another thing I appreciated was that Scott tries to avoid litigation whenever possible. He prefers to settle things through mediation or direction negotiation, and he avoids pointless conflict. However, when my ex-wife took aggressive actions against me, Scott gave strong responses and forced her to back down. He tries to keep things amicable, but he is not afraid to take a strong stance when necessary.
We had only a single court hearing, when my ex-wife attempted to have our parenting consultant removed after the divorce. Scott gave compelling oral arguments and helped the judge see our perspective, even though she initially was inclined to grant my ex-wife’s request. She ruled in our favor after the hearing, and there is no doubt that Scott’s courtroom arguments were key to that outcome.
I feel very fortunate to have worked with Scott in my divorce. I could not have asked for a better outcome, and Scott’s representation and advice are what made it possible. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a family law attorney.

I had a very difficult family law issue regarding my ex-spouse's ongoing parenting plan violations and documented parental alienation efforts on my daughter. I had spent years working w/ past attorneys and family therapists to help ameliorate some of the more destructive effects of my kids' mother's behavior. The clock was running out quickly for any type of legally enforceable remedies - family therapy or otherwise.
Scott promptly assessed my case via his legal assistant and decided that I had run out of legal remedies. I still needed more info so I scheduled a paid consultation. When we finally met, Scott immediately cut to the chase and in just a few minutes gave me a complete and definitive legal prognosis about winning any additional legal action or even getting my daughter into any type of reunification therapy. Zippo chance. I had previously spent thousands working w/ another attorney just trying to get this answered.
Scott correctly perceived that our family issues were far more than legal. He spent the remaining 45-50 minutes of our 1 hour consult giving me some of the best family therapy advice I ever had. He had seen a lot of parental alienation cases and understood the long-term affect on adolescents and parents. He was empathetic. He understood the big picture. I would go so far as to say that single session was transformative. I so wish I had found him at the beginning of my divorce. With Scott, I knew I would have definitely gotten what I paid for.
For all who read this, please be aware that for many going through a divorce, you get one chance to do it right. After that, you can nibble at the edges w/ some modifications but if you don't have a competent attorney fighting for you from the start, you could get utterly steamrollered. I spent more on legal fees trying to enforce a court order drawn up by my original "econo-lawyer" then I did for the original divorce.
Scott knew what I needed and not only did he not try to sell me more futile legal services, he even waived the consult fee. His generosity of time, counsel and spirit made him stand out head and shoulders w/ any other family attorney I worked with over the past 7 years.

I am an independent contractor - commissioned sales rep - and wanted advice about choice of law and where would be the best location to file a lawsuit for unpaid commissions.
Craig helped me by analyzing my potential claim and the applicabilty of Minnesota laws to my case. Specifically, he addressed the Minnesota Termination of Sales Representatives Act and Minnesota Statutes 181.145 as it might apply to a contractor not located in or having territory including Minnesota (the company not paying commissions is located in MN). He was able to boild down a stack of paperwork to the most important details in a very short period of time.
Craig was honest, clear, puctual and truly had my best interests in mind during our meetings.

We had the task of selling a facility with an existing air permit in Minnesota that we had constructed and intermittently run for one year. The buyer had one of the nation's largest in-house environmental teams and dedicated their team as well as prominent environmental lawyers to this asset purchase. I hired Adam when I had a debt collector threatening me, charging me illegal fees and telling me they'll hack into my bank account, trying to collect a debt which was actually my husband's debt to begin with. My automobile was ruined due to a manufacturer's engine defect. I was connected with Chris through the legal service at my company. I spoke with Chris on several occasions to explain the specifics of my case and to find out what my options were for getting compensation from the manufacturer. In each conversation Chris was polite, well informed and explained very clearly to me what was needed from me to proceed with a legal action. Chris also made clear what outcomes I could expect if I pursued any action. As issues and milestones came up Chris always kept me informed. When I had questions Chris would respond in a timely and informative manner. When decisions needed to be made, Chris provided clear and concise options and likely outcomes, and made it plain that it was up to me as to how to proceed. However the case would have been resolved I would have felt that I was represented by an excellent advocate who was on my side. Chris was an honest, forthright partner who was an excellent communicator.
Happily, the outcome was much better than I had hoped for and I know full well that I would not have received the same settlement, if any, without Chris' outstanding work.

I called Tom's office with a weather related slip and fall case two days before Thanksgiving. The office assistant put me through to speak directly with Tom on that same phone call.
After talking through my situation, Tom said he would do some initial research and review with his team. (at no cost to me) Although Tom did not take my case I just wanted to relate that Tom and his office were very honest and straight-forward. The were realistic about what to expect, very responsive (I was always able to speak with someone who could help me), and I felt Tom was very genuine in his concern and interest.
I had never called a contingency lawyer before so did not know what to expect. Tom quickly put my fears of "being sold" something to rest. I would highly recommend Tom and his office for an initial consultation. They are professional and caring.

I am the general Partner of the purity Bakery Building Limited Partnership. Mr. Brendan Tupa, Attorney, was retained to assist in bringing an insurance claim to a settlement. An adjuster had failed to perform on this matter. Mr. Tupa brought legal action against the insurance company resulting in a substantial settlement. He further assisted me dealing with the non-performing insurance adjuster by modifying the fee agreement.
I subsequently retained Mr. Tupa to bring a suit against a railroad over a property issue. Two prior attorneys had begged off on pursuing litigation as a solution to this problem. I can state that within twenty four hours of Mr. Tupa’s service of a law suit, the matter was satisfactorily settled.
Subsequently Mr. Tupa’s office wrote a letter to Xcel Energy a dispute over a utility line location. Within days of this letter the problem was satisfactorily resolved.

Hired Alyssa to help with a juvenile issue at school. She was able to negotiate a plea deal down from a felony to a misdemeanor so that it will not show up on a crimal background check. I retained Ms. Jones to modify my probation on my DUI case. Here is some background info on my case. I had been arrested for a DUI. In order to be proactive and get my license back, I had ignition interlock installed on my car. I had ignition interlock in my car for three full months before my court date occurred. At sentencing, the judge had ordered me to do 2 years of ignition interlock during my two years of probation but he did not want to count the three months I had already done. Fast forward two years, and I retain Ms. Jones to to hopefully get my probation conditions modified. Ms. Jones talked to the judge, and she requested that the judge remove the ignition interlock component of my probation three months before the probation end date due to the fact that I had already completed two full years without any violations (including the three months before the court date). Ms. Jones was successful! I was able to have the ignition interlock removed at the two year mark, which was three months before my probation ended. Ignition interlock was costing me around $150 a month, so I saved $450 by retaining Ms. Jones. I could not recommend enough hiring Ms. Jones for any criminal defense issue that you unfortunately may have. She is a hard worker and, at least for me, the end result is exactly what I wanted!

I hired Drewes Law for a family to family, as-is real estate transaction so therefore a much more expensive realtor was not needed. I hired them based on the other great Google reviews and it was a great decision!
They explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions up front, then got going on the process while always keeping me in the loop. We were working through a family member who was Attorney-in-fact/Power of Attorney for my grandmother, which slightly complicated things in my opinion but it was never an issue for the Drewes team.
Toward the end there was an issue with the county rejecting some filings, to which Drewes Law reached out to me immediately to let me know, but also let me know they re-reviewed everything and told me they were confident there was no reason for the rejection. They called my county the next business day to which the county recognized the mistake and that it indeed should not have been rejected (mistake due to being down workers/having new workers due to Covid). The County immediately approved and I was sent the Deed a few days later. Excellent work and thoroughness by the Drewes Law Team!
David, Annie and Jonathan were fantastic to work with and I would recommend them to anyone needing Real Estate law representation.
