First and foremost Bob and Jill are down-to-earth, honest, good people. Secondly, Bob is a great attorney (and I assume Jill is as well). Bob represented my partner in a high stress case. Other attorneys we talked to said they couldn't do anything until after my partner was formally charged. Not Bob. He used his connections and positive relationships to reach out proactively to help mitigate the situation. Ultimately, the case was never adjudicated because the facts didn't support it. Bob made sure that was known. He charges a fair price for proactive representation. He came recommended to us and I can easily see why. I would highly recommend him without hesitation.

I contacted this firm for estate planning services. After we set up an online meeting appointment, they sent me instructions and a form to fill out. I submitted the form after I filled it out as much as I could. The form asked about my power of attorney info and I did not have that so I left that part blank. I had never done estate planning so I just assumed that they would contact me for the information if they absolutely needed that prior to meeting with their lawyer. A day or two before the meeting, the office called me to confirm that I was set up for the online meeting, but they did not mention anything about needing more information. When the online meeting began, the lawyer said the power of attorney information is the first thing he needed. He said the next earliest appointment is two months away. The meeting ended shortly after that. I and my wife had to take a day off from work for that meeting and we just wasted my vacation day for that 5 minute meeting that accomplished nothing. When the office manager called me the next day at my request, she told me that the lawyer did not read the document before the meeting began. She also told me that another office personnel was supposed to check the document I submitted for any missing information that was crucial. The office manager however did not offer an apology. Very disappointing.

First of all, the original review was written 2 years ago. I don't know why the firm writes a response to the review now. Next, anyone can see from the response that whoever wrote it didn't even read my complaint. It's clear in my original review that the issue was not about rescheduling. When the meeting began the lawyer took just a few seconds looking at the document to find the missing information so we had to cancel the meeting. Then why didn't he take a few seconds before the meeting? Why didn't anybody in the office look at the document before the meeting? When I told the manager I had to take a day off from work for the canceled meeting, rather than apologizing, she said I could have gone back to work. Also, the response below said they offered me the possibility of an after-hours spot to get me in sooner. They offered me no such a thing.

I'm from Mississippi and I am also a pro SE litigant in a federal lawsuit against my town and police department. I have watched many videos and I'm here to tell everyone that Mr. Schmidt 's tips on deposition was the best advice ever. My deposition lasted less than an hour. I was not questioned about my responses and I am very pleased with my performance. I learned so much from that one particular video because I learned to take my anti social nature, and use it to my advantage in a positive and constructive way.... No other attorney addressed my concerns about this part of me. VICTOR WAS THE PERFECT EXAMPLE FOR ME TO FOLLOW. The opposing counsel and reporter looked stunned at times. In a good way though! Then I called the office to thank them and Mr. Schmidt called me back. Such a kind soul he is. What a professional group they all are! I can not say enough good things about them. If you need the best , and you live in MN, forget the rest and call these people. You will not be disappointed.

Would be 1 star but I’ve atleast been contacted after reaching out trying to figure out what is going on with my case which is absolutely nothing.
Process started back in June. I reached out to see if it was possible to reopen my case from 4 years prior because I still have major lasting effects from my shoulder surgery. (Had a different attorney) Spoke with Daniel and he stated we could probably settle out the medical as I have out of pocket costs at minimum of biweekly chiropractic care just so I can function. After this I went through the process of getting my entire file from my previous attorney and hand delivered it to his office.
After 2 months of not hearing anything I decided to reach out. First by email. No response. A couple weeks later by phone and I left a voicemail. Again never heard back. A week or so later I called again. This time leaving a message with a lady who answered. After this I got a call from Daniel about a week later. During this phone call he again stated that he thinks we could settle out the medical. He stated he was going to talk with his partner and figure out a game plan on how to proceed and that he would be in contact with me again in a week. I never heard back.
Fast forward a month and a half I decided to reach out again. First by email. Again, no response. I let another week or so pass and decided to call. This time I was transferred directly to Daniel. During this call everything changed. Now it was he didn’t think they could settle the medical and he stated he’d give a call back within the week. This never happened.
Now 2-3 weeks later here I am posting this review. This was never with intentions of a money grab. 100% I have major issues since having my shoulder surgery. I make more money however I have a $5000 deductible so I choose not to go to the doctor because I really can’t afford that. So instead I go to the chiropractor just so I can get by. Costs me only around $150 every month.
I write this review not in spite nor in anger, but more so in annoyance because I feel as if Daniel made it seem like something could be done and just constantly left me wondering what was happening. So really just wasted a ton of my time just to be given false hope. Daniel should have from the beginning just told me that there was nothing that could be done. Had he done that I would have just let it be.
