It was a long process, but I was able to get it successfully completed with Mr. Peck's help. He was thorough, took the time to walk me through everything and answer all of my questions, and was responsive every time I came up with another thing to ask. Filing for bankruptcy is never what I'd call "fun", but it was certainly much less stressful than it could have been working with his firm. 10/10 would recommend!

Andrew, with RSC Law Group, was the 3rd attorney I worked with in the course of my messy and protracted divorce. Andrew was amazingly patient with me as he helped me navigate through that legal nightmare. He spent a lot of time explaining to my stress addled brain all my options and suggesting next steps. He was a tremendous advisor to me and I truly appreciated that he and his firm gave me the guidance that was best for my family and not what generated the most billable hours. Divorce is not a clear cut process and I took a lot of comfort knowing that I had a place to turn to when I needed help. In court I felt well represented and I liked that he didn't spend time arguing with opposing counsel outside of the courtroom arena. If things were different he'd still be my attorney but I appreciate that they left my family and I in a safer and more secure place than they originally found us in.

When you find yourself in a difficult situation, Mr. Coniglio and his office is the one to call. I went through an absolute nightmare that I thought would never end, and his office guided me through it all, always reassuring me that i wasn’t alone with all the chaos. John is an outstanding attorney. He listens intently, and comes up with a sound strategy to defend you. And methodically executes on it. Hire him, and wholeheartedly listen to his recommendations and follow through what he asks for, and you will get justice on your side. I was in an unfortunate situation, and was arrested for DUI needlessly. John was thorough in his work, prepared a case and fought for over 8 months to get my case dismissed 10 months from the incident.
He is calm, collected, and has the vision for evolving the case in a methodical way, which is a surefire way to win if you are in the right.
John is also a great human being - I have come to know him through these months and truly enjoyed working with him. He deeply understands the laws, the Monterey county system, law enforcement officials, judges and the district attorney well. He is also well respected by everyone as I have come to witness.

Anyone who rents in the Monterey area can appreciate the cost of renting and with that comes high deposits. Its really important to know what you are getting into when you sign a lease. I cant say enough about Mr. Daunt. He helped me on a residential lease that went wrong. He knows the laws and was able to guide me in the right direction. I really enjoyed his approach to my problems and of course his great guidance that worked extremely well for me.

I called the office of Barbara May to inquire about a one time consultation. The secretary was incredibly rude. The whole conversation was infuriating. The secretary told me « let’s see first if you can afford our fees before anything. Then she told me we don’t have time for people like you who just seek advices » I was chocked. They charge 375 dollars for the first appointement and ask for $4000 before you even meet with them. They say they don’t have time to give people consultation, you have to choose them as long term attorney or they won’t give any advices on any matter. Where is humanity and kindness in all this? I never met Barbara but I know one thing her secretary sabotaged her work by being so hostile.

For the average citizen, legal matters are difficult to completely understand as well as get through. After losing my job of over 6 years, that is exactly where I found myself. Worried about my future, confused about the laws, questioning my rights, and unsure what my next step should be; I began an internet search for law firms. I reviewed websites, researched case histories, noted professional achievement awards, and made phone calls to several local practices. Frustrated with the responses I was getting and almost ready to abandon my quest for justice, I called The Law Offices of Nicolas Vrataric. Following the only positive call since I started my search, not only did I have renewed hope in my situation but I also had a consultation scheduled in 2 days. I was politely welcomed into the firm, attentively listened to, expertly advised on any potential case, and given information to take home and go through. There was no pressure or demand to retain their services nor did they rush to get through my consult. I have experienced sincere and professional interactions from every member of the staff since my initial phone call. I could make a guess at what his IQ is, but either way I am sure it is off the charts. Matthew might be one of the brilliant persons I have encountered in my lifetime-I feel like I found treasure in coming across his information. He is incredibly knowledgeable in his profession, but unlike some lawyers who are just book smart, he is someone who is friendly, personable, listens to you very well...and is an absolute total shark to boot.
This is someone you want on your side; and boy, do I pity the person who is on the opposing side of him. He took time to listen to my situation in entirety (I called on a holiday that many local attorneys were unavailable on, nonetheless) and he provided me with sharp and insightful feedback. At the end of the call, you almost want him to keep talking, because you learn so much from his wealth of experience.
I told him he should write a book! I would unreservedly use him for any future legal needs. I have worked with dozens of attorneys over the years in a career spanning finance and tech, and he is a gem who stands out amongst them all.

This is how I embody Attorney Carolyn Harris. I have just ended a 1 1/2 year guardianship/custody "Battle". I have been the legal guardian of my grandchild and the biological father wanted sole custody. Carolyn came highly recommended from a Los Angeles Attorney. She was forthright with all of the issues that I would encounter. I had the end goal in mind and she chipped away at each of the legal procedures that were needed to attain my goal. We chose Amy Wicks after interviewing about a dozen attorneys for a move-away case. We were moving out of state and our daughters father was disputing. She handled everything quickly and efficiently. She made sure we understood all angles that could be taken by the opposing party and she was honest with us about the possibilities of what could happen. In court, she was by far the most prepared and hard-hitting attorney in the room. The opposing (and actually more experienced) attorney threw a fit and had to apologize to the Judge because he could not keep up with Amy in a professional manner. She had an immediate and valid response to every argument he brought up. In the end, she kept the move-away case from developing into a trial and we were able to settle, gaining more than what we had originally asked for because Amy is that good! We will use her for everything custody related moving forward and we only wish we had found her 6 years ago when this all began.

The firm that Denis works for was a recommendation from a partner as well as a friend and although I was reticant to pursue the case, I did. I will try and keep this short and sweet. I was represented by a different law firm and after a year they came to me with minimal results and an offer that was basically a slap in the face. Obviously very unhappy and feeling defeated. I turned to Charles Picutta for a consultation. In the first meeting I knew I shouldnt settle with my previous lawyer and I should give Mr. Piccuta a shot. I cant say enough about him and the way he handled my case. I switched to the Piccuta Law Group after the firm representing me failed to file a lawsuit for my personal injury accident. My accident involved a high speed collision where my nine month old and nine year old son and daughter were in the car. The former firm was trying to get me to settle my case for an amount they claimed was a “great offer.” The insurance company’s offer barely offered anything to compensate my children and was less than I expected.
The former firm only met with me when they thought I was going to switch attorneys, barely discussed my case with me before that and never took a sworn statement from the other side. The former firm also told me that they didn’t think that we could claim damages for my children. It left me wondering why I hired an attorney to take 1/3 of my settlement if all they were going to do was collect my medical records and send them to the insurance company before settling. I could do that myself.
My experience with the attorneys from the Piccuta Law Group was completely different. I met with Charles Piccuta in person and he spent time discussing my case with me, going over the attorney agreement and explaining the legal process. He analyzed the strength and weaknesses of my case and we developed a plan to maximize my settlement. Within weeks he had filed and served a lawsuit, confirmed that the police were prosecuting the other driver for being on prescription medication at the time of the accident and advanced claims for emotional distress on behalf of my son.

I've only seen an attorney regarding our estate planning. This interaction was something different regarding an individual making a request of restitution for a loss for which he claimed we were responsible, a scary situation for me as it turns out. Although she needed to be candid w.r.t. how CA law regards such incidents of the nature being discussed, Ms DeBartolo handled my concerns with grace and sensitivity to my concerns. She even guided me to a specialist in matters of this nature.

I met with Ms. DeBartolo about a situation I had with a former employer and some contract issues, and she was fantastic. She carefully explained all the contract language that I was fuzzy on, while also siting the legalities of certain situations that I was wondering about. Dirk took over my worker's compensation case and social security case and won both in only year! Dirk helped me with a Workers Comp case. His demeanor and knowledge during the deposition was impressive. I felt like I was on a winning team from the get-go. I was very nervous because I have never been examined like that before but as those two hours passed I knew he had my back.
