We've worked with Ms. Sherman on several projects, including negotiation and permitting, and have always found her to be communicative, reliable, and completely invested in our interests. She is extremely detail-oriented and capable of picking apart a contract better than any lawyer we've ever worked with, as we discovered when we were involved in a potentially disastrous Real Estate deal.
In our experience, Ms. Sherman's manner is approachable and empathetic when we are in conference and tough and persistent during negotiation, but she also has an innate ability to charm and bring the temperature in the room down when things get heated.
When we needed to navigate City Hall and apply for the liquor license for our restaurant, Ms. Sherman helped us to successfully navigate a complex and somewhat obtuse and frustrating process.
Ms. Sherman is not afraid to tackle a job which includes aspects that fall outside of her usual sphere of experience and has a vast network of colleagues to consult with when a question arises that she needs clarified. We enjoyed working with her very much and consider her a vital part of our "team" and an invaluable resource.

Ms. Sherman was very knowledgeable and informative of the problems I had been having with a certain situation. She took the time to explain to me the actions that needed to be taken in resolving my issues. She was very prompt in returning phone calls to any questions I may have had. Danielle was a good communicator. She kept us informed about all of the progress and lack thereof during our case. She had an outstanding presence and was very respectful. Being that I don't know much about the law when it comes to personal injury claims, Danielle was patient with us when explaining the legal process. I will be honest and say I have a problem trusting lawyers and have had some negative experiences in the past. With that said, I think Danielle treated us with integrity. When I fist met Nicholas Cressy, I could tell he truly cared. When I told him about my situation, I saw how it bothered him! I had met a few different lawyers and consulted with them and no one wanted to actually take it all the way to trial to prove I was innocent. Nick truly devotes himself to his clients, he told me that the very first day. In fact, you're not a client, Nick treats you like an actual human being that wanted to help! I had been wrongfully accused by a department store and was harassed and would not sign a confession the loss prevention officer was trying to do E me too! The loss prevention officer ended up calling the cops and charging me with shoplifting and the cops came and read my Maranda act rights in front of my kid! After that for over a year I went monthly to misdemeanor court where each time they just continued it ;continuance after continuance - over a year!!! My last trip to misdemeanor court would have been another continuance but Nick stood up for me- fought for me- he won me a trial which was all I needed and been asking for! A way to prove myself innocent. I wouldn't take the 894 or the divergent program or a "criminal mischief" charge that the public defenders and other lawyers had offered me. I was innocent , and thats what I needed to prove. It caused my life so much stress snd frustration!
Nick's devotion and the way he cared finally made me feel like I was right to prove my innocence ! What a funny thing to state in "the land of the free"! I would have had to be punished for something I didn't do and my 13 year old daughter ??!! She was upset by this too!
All of the frustrated feelings and confusion that came along with this, Nick was able to do exactly what I needed, he was able to say what I was too emotionally frustrated to say . He completelly understood and genuinely cared about my situation, I am so grateful for that.
I feel like I can sleep like a log knowing this all over.
