I did not have a pleasant experience with Mr Tolar, unfortunately. First he submitted my application incorrectly, and second when I approached him with the issue, he never tried rectifying the issue other than stating that we will submit another application down the line which would likely incur more costs and was definitely not what we agreed to nor signed for at the beginning. I also asked for a refund which he stated he will not be refunding me my money. On top of that during our conversation, he used terms like “as we have discussed ad nauseam”, which is inappropriate and unprofessional. Being blatantly disrespectful to your client who has trusted you with your services will not lead to the outcomes you desire. Passive aggression is also not tolerated in any circumstance either. It was trouble getting a hold of him at times, I would message and he wouldn’t respond in due time unless i reached back out a second time so I had stated to him that i value clear communication as I was patiently waiting for his response. (He probably would never respond if I didn't reach back out again). I have many affiliates within the legal industry and their response times has always been appropriate and timely.
I hope Mr Tolar takes this experience constructively and does better with his future clients. Best.

This is absolutely the best law firm in Louisiana. I had to hire a lawyer a few times in my life and I have helped friends and family retain a lawyer periodically; as well. I have never had a law firm as courteous and professional as Tolar, Harrigan & Morris. The majority of lawyers and firms only want an open and shut case and primarily focus on cases that they can get the most money from. Tolar, Harrigan & Morris has completely shattered the stigma associated with lawyers through media and shared personal experiences. This firm is so amazing in all aspects. I don’t bother anyone about anything, it’s not in my nature. But to be ignored by someone who I thought I could trust with my case is very unsettling. I brought my suit to you years ago, and I still have no resolution or knowledge of what you’re doing with the case. I’ve been through so much since I came to your office many years ago now, and you sir, well it seems like you just don’t give a damn (my opinion).

I hired Sharon Williams to help me with a name change. I told her I wanted to use an attorney with experience in this sort of thing so I wouldn't have to worry about it and would get it done fast as I need to have my preferred name match for my job. She told me not to worry, that she would take care of it quickly. I initially met with her in late July, and I signed my petition in early August. it is now January and the process is not done. She has been very unresponsive, as I've texted her multiple times asking for specifics on why this is taking so long. I now haven't heard from her in a week. I've called her office multiple times with no answer and left messages. Called her phone but the voicemail box is full. The lack of communication leaves me to not trust that she is able to do the job I paid her to do in a timely manner, and feel like I've wasted my time and money for something I would have been better off doing myself. Ive spoken with people who have changed their names on their own with no attorney and most did it within a month. I am at 5 months. My passport has expired and my license expires soon which will be a major complication where I have to renew it under my old name, while I was under the impression would have been taken care of by now. I would not trust Sharon Williams with anything as important as custody or a will if she can't even properly do a name change.

She's been able to settle my cases within one year time frame. Other attorneys my friends and family had went to took 2yrs+ to settle auto accidents! So in my eyes I feel Laura is efficient. If you feel the need to call the lawfirm every couple of days then you wasting your time going the suing route because patience is key. When something in my case came up to her calling me about settling and collecting money, their communication is on point. Laura and her staff is for the people and if anyone says different need a reality check because you don't find genuine attorneys these days just money hungry hobknockers 🤷🏽.

Referred by someone that thought they were a great candidate. But, every time I called for info regarding my case I was always given the run around treatment, of them not knowing. And that they will give me a call back. I would be the one calling back after days of nothing and pro longing my case to benefit only them. After my case wrapped up the same person that referred me got in an accident. He reached out to Kambur law firm about his case. Asked multiple times to have his lawyer contact them directly. Several days go by and Mrs. Laura K. NEVER contacted my friend, So they reached out to another law firm because he felt just like I felt this time around with lack of communication from Kambur law firm. When the other law firm contracted Kambur about the case and informed them that they will be now taking over the case. Mrs. Laura decides to call my friend multiple times and than decides to contact me regarding them and if I can have my friend call Mrs Laura. Oooooo now we exist, now we are important , I thought clients come first. Y’all work for us. I understand yall can be busy but to make both of us fell unappreciated is horrible service.We never contacted them again but, they made sure they dropped me as a client by sending a sheriff with papers stating they no longer would like to represent me. lol 😂 but we already know I was not contacting KAMBUR LAW FIRM again!

When I called Mr Bruno’s office, they put me directly though to him. After discussing the severity of my accident, he was able to set up a doctor’s appointment for me the same day. Stephen Bruno kept me informed of what was happening with the insurance company and assured me that I wouldn’t have to pay for anything. He covered all doctor visits, MRI’s and therapy. He put my mind at ease, so I could worked on recovering. I have and will continue to referred him to family and friends.

After a horrible car accident I was referred to Stephen by a friend. I was given advice and felt taken care of. I don’t bother anyone about anything, it’s not in my nature. But to be ignored by someone who I thought I could trust with my case is very unsettling. I brought my suit to you years ago, and I still have no resolution or knowledge of what you’re doing with the case. I hired Sharon Williams to help me with a name change. I told her I wanted to use an attorney with experience in this sort of thing so I wouldn't have to worry about it and would get it done fast as I need to have my preferred name match for my job. She told me not to worry, that she would take care of it quickly. I initially met with her in late July, and I signed my petition in early August. it is now January and the process is not done. She has been very unresponsive, as I've texted her multiple times asking for specifics on why this is taking so long. I now haven't heard from her in a week. I've called her office multiple times with no answer and left messages. Called her phone but the voicemail box is full. The lack of communication leaves me to not trust that she is able to do the job I paid her to do in a timely manner, and feel like I've wasted my time and money for something I would have been better off doing myself. Ive spoken with people who have changed their names on their own with no attorney and most did it within a month. I am at 5 months. My passport has expired and my license expires soon which will be a major complication where I have to renew it under my old name, while I was under the impression would have been taken care of by now. I would not trust Sharon Williams with anything as important as custody or a will if she can't even properly do a name change.
