Heather Mitchell is a truly exceptional medical malpractice attorney. Her experience as a trained registered nurse brings extensive knowledge and experience which she leverages in her medical malpractice cases with amazing results. Heather approaches her cases with fearlessness, grace, intelligence, strength and authority that is beyond measure. On top of all of that, Heather is an exceptional human being. I recently had the privilege of watching her work with a mock jury and I was absolutely blown away by her skill and grace.

I just spent the last week working with Heather on a case she is working up for trial. She is beyond amazing. I cannot imagine anyone in her state hiring someone other than her to take their med mal case to trial. Her passion for medical negligence cases and her devotion to her clients is inspiring. I cannot recommend her enough.

I was seeking legal advice about a property dispute and small claims. While this office doesn't always handle small cases, they did put me in touch with an attorney who was able to offer some advice and a possible reference. I was surprised to get a call back and find that promising for larger cases.

I resigned from Oklahoma Natural Gas earlier this year due to 8 years of blatant discrimination for being openingly gay. After filing a complaint with the EEOC and then given a right to sue they also gave me a list of referrals for potential lawyers. The Battle Law Firm was on the list so I contacted Mr. Battle through email. After filling out an intake form Mr. Battle said he was "Very interested" in my case but was currently busy and had some vacation time coming and to circle back to contact him in 3-4 weeks which I did. I explained I had reached out to another firm and one day before the consult after letting Mr. Battle know the previous firm had declined I received an email now stating he was to busy to even meet for 30 min to evaluate my case or not after waiting almost a month. I would highly recommend that Mr. Battle remove himself from the EEOC ref list as it would be a complete waste of time dealing with him and waiting almost a month just hoping to be heard with no commitment. Complete lack of ethics in my view. Ultimately I think what I have realized is this state just does not want gays in the state at all whatsoever even in 2024. So the low cost of living isn't worth the mental stress of living here any longer. So Oklahoma can continue to be the bottom of the barrel in education and diversity I unfortunately am now going to be forced out of the state so I can truly be competitive in the workplace and survive financially. I was cordial understanding his time was important and even said so in my correspondence with him. Yet lead along by the nose for over a month just hoping to be heard not at all expecting a commitment. I give up this state will continue to discriminate therefore embolding these monopolies like OG&E and ONG to continue to keep the Gays out as long as possible. I would think The Battle group would just have the morals to right up front say no and not waste someone's valuable time. My time is also valuable just as his is. I would def pass on ever using this firm. Hopefully by the end of the year I can move and just forget Oklahoma altogether. This review is exactly what happened not anything more I have the emails to prove it. RESPONSE TO REPLY FROM FIRM: Your comment about my 8 years im not understanding. I spent those 8 years thinking if I worked hard I would advance. Secondly I paid no other consult fee's and no one would even look at my evidence cause no one wants to take on these large monopolies. I still have about 30 days left in my right to sue so you could have just rescheduled. And as I stated in the original review I will leave because its not going to get better here. Your just upset I called you out for blatantly blowing me off period.

At the beginning I did my research on Roe Simmons, before hiring him as my attorney and he seemed like he was very top notch. When I came to him as a client I was so nervous and scared I had no idea what I was up against. He was doing good job and got me to where I could see my daughter supervised up until I didn’t feel like he was treating me as client anymore, he didn’t really give me a chance to speak my side of things, he listened to everyone else over me, and he didn’t really keep me updated at all. Also made me feel like it was all my fault which it’s not true. I wouldn’t recommend him. He is rude, not communicative, and doesn’t give the chance to explain your side of things. I don’t feel like I was treated fairly and I wasn’t being heard as well.

There is no finer family law attorney than Kevin Taylor. He fights for me EVERY TIME. He fights for me when I want to give up. Rarely does he ever not answer my calls, and his team are so responsive. If you have lost hope, call Kevin. He's smart and funny as hell, more than that he will NEVER blow smoke. He's as real as they come. You're not done yet, call this man. Let him fight for you. We love you Kevin, see you soon!

Wish I could say something good about this attorney or the experience I had with him, but unfortunately I can't. I won't go into everything on here, but this attorney will promise you the moon and stars and not deliver. He will lie to your face, has no accountability, a very grandiose opinion of himself. My ex was in contempt for almost 2 yrs and thank goodness for his attorney that made my ex do what he was supposed to do out of the divorce decree and made things right. Pretty sad when the other person's attorney indirectly did the right thing for me and mine did nothing of what he promised to do. I'm so thankful my friend and I recorded everything, kept texts and emails. So, we had proof for the Bar Association to investigate this attorney.

Back in early January we contact Elaine. After a phone call and a zoom call Elaine stated she would represent my wife and I. We made payment(Payment went throught 2 times,) in mid January. When we discovered the multiple payments we contact Elaine about the error and she stated she would refund one of those payments. That has yet to take place. In fact numerious phone calls, and emails have not been returned or answered. Multiple visits to her office also had no solution as she was never in the office. We have been ghosted. Beware. We will be submitting a complaint to the Oklahoma Bar and will be filing a small claims against her. In the meantime my wife and I have in case coming up that we are now forced to handle ourselves as we cannot afford another attorney.

Be warned. She'll take your retainer, do a little work, talk circles on the phone, then disappear. When you threaten a bar complaint, she'll re-engage and finally provide documentation with exorbitant hours. You'll attempt to meet in the middle and request half of the retainer back, she'll say no. You'll then mention small claims court, and she'll inform you that she'll intend to request prevailing party attorney fees for herself. All while blaming you and pretending she did you a favor.

Got my case deferred after 2 years stalling, looking for a DA that would accept his deal, on an accusation he could've proven was a lie. Never looked at evidence, never talked to witnesses, never questioned the fact that accuser had 2 stories, only tried to work out a deal with the prosecution. Told me it was 2 years deferred but now I'm seeing that it's 7 years. Do not waste your time as he will not look at your case, only try to work out a deal that will not be in your favor.

I lost my husband in 2017. He died intestate, and all the real property he had, was in his father’s name. I did as much research as I could on my own, but still had questions related to my rights and his “estate”. I prayed that God would send me a knowledgeable lawyer with lots of compassion and patience, given the circumstances in which I found myself. During THE most difficult time of my life, Elizabeth Richards and her assistant guided me carefully through a very complicated process. Up to that point in my life, I’d never required the assistance of a lawyer, and I honestly hope I never do again. If I do, however, I sincerely hope it’s in an area of the law in which she specializes. She (and her wonderful assistant) offered their expertise as well as a level of true kindness and compassion that I never expected to encounter. I am forever grateful and will take any/every opportunity to recommend them. Thank you, Elizabeth!! You were TRULY an answer to my prayers!!

Emilie is the best. She amazed me with how knowledgeable she is. She has more experience then all the lawyers I ever had put together! I had multiple cases and she got 2 dropped completely and one from a felony to a misdemeanor. There's no one else who coulda done all that. And all the time she kept me posted. I could even reach her at 10pm on a Saturday night. She works 24/7 and busts her butt for you. She's smart and damn good. Born to be a lawyer. Any negative reviews must be from someone who didn't pay her or something. She even helped my mom with a legal issue for free! I recommend her to anyone anytime.
