He is a arrogant person that i personally would not recommend to anyone. If you want a attorney to push you into doing things the easy way this is the attorney for you. Very harassing and money hungry.

Rude! I called for help and the call lasted 2 seconds. I've been looking for an attorney and a house. He returned my call and wouldn't tell me what line of work that he was in, I don't read minds. I didn't know if it was a call back for a house or an attorney. Instead of telling me who he was, he told me that if he wasn't needed then he would gladly hang up. I was told him that I was simply trying to find out which conversation I needed to have with him, thanked him, and hung up. If he's not professional now then he won't be later. All it took was him stating the law firm before or after his name. He could have even told me when I asked. He must not have needed a new client though. Reply: Your reply only further proves how UNPROFESSIONAL you really are. I never said that I called you looking for a house. Had you read my review to comprehend and not to reply then you would know that. This is why I did not do business with you. My name is a profile name so no, it doesn't match any names.

Attorney Brian and Louis Dell are a team of experienced, aggressive legal representation. Within weeks of retaining her: This is the most professional, communicative attorney I've ever heard of, let alone worked with. She's doing everything right, and keeping me 100% in the loop. How things turn out- I expect it to go well. But regardless, she has been the most direct, organized and competent attorney I've ever dealt with. After having experience with 2 others (1 in this case) I am all too familiar with weeks on end without updates, or even answers to simple, direct questions. She is just the opposite. And she is every bit as informative and organized months into the case as she was the first few days. She's gotten more done in the first two weeks than the last attorney got done in over 6 months. She's straight up. I would highly recommend her to anyone. After the trial: Throughout the course of our business, none of her work ethic changed, she made the right calls, even if/when it hurt. I haven't researched standard fee ranges, but she seems in line with attorneys of her caliber (of which I suspect there are few.) She was tenacious. She was kind (to me.) She *listened to my priorities, and she advised accordingly. I trusted her implicitly, and my confidence in her abilities only grew. And yes, we won my case! And big. It helped that the law was clear--even when opposing counsel and his client's integrity weren't. I could not recommend her more highly. I wish I'd known what another attorney said about her when I had retained the previous one: ~ "She has the rare quality of being able to 'kill em with kindness, and stab em between the ribs.' "

I also agree that he is very difficult to not only get in contact with, but all around dealing with him in general. Also a complete liar, but don’t dare call him out on it, or he’lol threaten to motion to withdraw. He will say everything you want to hear until you pay him and then good luck. I paid over 5k on him, and still had to hire another attorney to fix my case. He was an absolute waste of money.

Susan P Moran was initially the attorney of Shirley V McClain, our aunt. She provided Shirley with excellent advice for approximately 10 years, and after her death in 2003, continued to assist us in sorting through her estate. I can not recommend her more highly, and if we lived in OKC, we would most assuredly be relying on her expert knowledge and advice.

My company hired "Zac" because of his experience in the industry. His experience was not what was represented and his work was slow, error riddled and required significant revision, which only increased the team's workload. My biggest issue is that he was very condescending to me and the women on the team, especially when we attempted to correct a mistake. These women are experienced and respected professionals and he made a point to speak to them like children. I will go out of my way to avoid working with him in the future and encourage my employer to do the same. I'm only leaving a public review because my concerns were raised privately with his supervisor and brushed aside until he was finally let go for other reasons.

MISLEADING, MISREPRESENTATION, CALL AVOIDANCE GWC has gotten away with thousands upon thousands of dollars mishandling our cases! Kenny Goza misled and misrepresented us (my husband and I) for two years, and now is avoiding our calls, and emails. What a terrible mistake it was trusting GWC Lawyers with our cases. I regret hiring him so, so much… At the very start of our cases, he gave us a list of things to be completed and guaranteed that as long as said list was all done neither one of us would see the inside of a jail cell (his words). So, we hired him. We completed every little thing he said was required, and still my husband got put behind bars. They gave my husband, a disabled veteran with spinal injuries who treats his pain with cannabis, 5 years to serve for cultivating cannabis. We had too many plants growing at a time and Kenny didn’t even bring up having the plants for THC. Most of them were only clones and didn’t even produce THC at that stage. Mr. Goza did not fight for us one bit. He didn’t even attempt to plea down our charges. We did everything he advised us to do that he claimed would help our case (which incurred fees not included in his nearly $20,000 fee). We thought we were in good hands, and boy, were we so wrong. On several occasions he called us by the wrong names. Two years of going to court with this guy and he never even bothered getting our names right. One time he sent me home from court with someone else's sensitive court documents (which I returned). I didn’t even realize they weren’t mine until I got home. He's disorganized; and you can tell by how he holds himself in court that he's very lazy. He always rushed through our questions before court and showed up with only 5 minutes to spare before court began. He was almost 2 hours late for one of our hearings and had no one contact us to let us know he’d be running late. We never missed a payment, and our cases were paid in full long before they were finished. He made sure to mention that he needed payment (not exaggerating) before every single court hearing until it was paid off. He asked for half up front and said the other half could be paid in installments. Every one of our court dates he claimed that the minimum payment wouldn’t do and that we’d have to figure out how to get larger payments to him, which we did. Kenny Goza claimed he wasn’t aware of the evidence that would be presented at my husband’s sentencing hearing. Evidence that swayed the judge’s decision against him in the end. Evidence that we, given an inkling of an opportunity to submit the document, could have proved was from a legitimate source. A simple bank statement showing a one-time deposit of inheritance money my husband’s recently deceased grandmother had left him. The judge said it had to have been drug money. After the judge had sentenced my husband, I was beside myself in tears. Kenny Goza said to call him if I had any more questions. Kenny wasn’t even able to get his sentencing paperwork either. Well, I had some follow-up questions for Mr. Goza but now he's AVOIDING MY CALLS!! Several times I have called his office and left messages with his secretary. She always takes my name and number, and says he’ll get back to me just as soon as he’s able. I’ve tried to call outside of court hours, and outside of lunch break times. I’ve tried emailing him, but still nothing. I’ve not received a single return communication from him since that day. Kenny Goza had no problem taking/returning our calls when we were still paying on what we owed for his crappy services!! What a heartless, slimy dog this guy is! I don't know how he sleeps at night after what he's done to our family! I wish negative stars were a thing. Don’t waste your time or money trusting these scoundrels.

He signed the unilateral, Unfair agreement decree written by opposite Counsels after I fired him, a Lawyer Outside of legal authority and with the explicit opposition of the client and outside of his client's interests. Also, he hid the fraudulent documents of my ex-husband regards Alimony. As a result, he proved me $800,000,00, after a while convinced me to settle with 300,000,00, and finally signed that agreed decree; I received zero dollars, and my ex picked up my car in front of my door, and he like a spoiled child didn’t answer my contact and now I went to appeal court to follow my case and fix his messy.

I hired Mr. Tate for a drug case in Canadian County, OK. At first Mr. Tate seemed eager to work my case. Then it became harder and harder to get a hold of Mr. Tate, one time only a couple of days before court putting me in an uneasy state since I had no clue of what was happening. He even joked when I finally got him on the phone about not being able to reach him....not funny. Once the discovery finally came back, and there was "no video" and Mr. Tate seemed content with that, and I saw a change in how he was handling my case. I was just a file on his desk he was trying to hurry into conclusion. That is not how I expected my case handled for the amount he charged me. Sorry if my freedom is more important to me than a first bad plea deal offered. I expected more caring from my attorney at that price, guess I excepted too much! Could have got the same deal from a public defender.

Malpractice 101!! Careless!! He won’t respond to motions and will not fight for you. He will let everything slide by no matter how much information you give him to respond too. He lacks integrity. He puts his clients in much worse condition than where he found them. He’s the reason malpractice insurance should be required by ALL lawyers.

Signed a contract with this Attorney after being illegally fired for getting injured at work. Christina Cupp had my file for over 10 months & never Filed my case with the Court. She told my family & I on a phone call ,she may have a conflict of interest representing me. She informed us she was doing work for one of the 3rd party administrators of my WC claim. When the final deadline approached for filing & CC had not filed yet; I questioned if the delay was due to the conflict of interest. Instead of just being honest & clarifying her representation of my claim, she got very angry at my questioning her & fired me as a client. Because of her delay in filing we were not able to retain a replacement Attorney in time to file my case & sue for wrongful discharge. The out of state company that broke a Oklahoma Labor Law for firing me while still under a Doctor’s care, basically got away with it because of this Attorney’s lack of ability to be honest & forthcoming. To make things worse she set up a scenario to make it seem it was my fault because I questioned her reason for not filing my case with the Court. There are many honest well intentioned Attorney’s in Oklahoma, but avoid hiring this one.

BEWARE ALL! - Jonathan M. Pitcher, is NOT a licensed attorney in the State of Oklahoma. A quick call to the Oklahoma Bar Association confirmed this and they have been notified of his claims in this, and other advertisements, to be an active, licensed attorney in Oklahoma. He was formerly an attorney in Texas, License #24046637. According to the State Bar of Texas his license was suspended for "disciplinary sanctions" and "default in payment of Occupation Tax." (See page 327 of State of Texas Bar "List of Licensed Texas Attorneys NOT Eligible to Practice Law in Texas.") In the State of Oklahoma it is against the law to impersonate a public official - like an attorney; to give legal advise if you are not a licensed attorney, and Mr. Pitcher is in violation of both these laws and has been reported to Ok. Bar Association and Vicki Behenna's office as District Attorney for Oklahoma County. If you have had Two Doors Realty refuse to return your deposit, or act in manner outside the realm of laws governing Landlords & Tenants (O.S. Title 41) contact a reputable, licensed attorney and discuss your situation. This man, Jonathan M. Pitcher is a fraud, who has set his company up to scam even the best of tenants and property owners out of every penny he can.

Top Questions to Ask a Lawyer

When meeting with a lawyer for the first time, it's important to ask the right questions to understand their expertise and determine if they're the right fit for your legal needs. Here are some top questions to consider:

  1. What experience do you have with cases similar to mine?
Ensure the lawyer has relevant experience in the specific area of law pertaining to your case.
  2. How do you charge for your services, and what are the estimated costs?
Understand the fee structure, including hourly rates, flat fees, retainer fees, and any additional expenses.
  3. What potential outcomes can I expect from my case?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.
  4. What is your approach to handling cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. Who will be working on my case?
Find out if the lawyer will handle your case personally or delegate tasks to other attorneys or paralegals.
  6. How will you communicate with me throughout the process?
Establish expectations for updates, preferred communication methods, and response times.
  7. What is the likely timeline for resolving my case?
Get an estimate of how long the process may take from start to finish.
  8. Do you have references from past clients?

  10. Are there alternative ways to solve my legal problem?
Discuss options like mediation, arbitration, or settlement to resolve the issue efficiently.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  1. Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing.
  2. Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case.
  3. Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association.
  4. Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to gauge client satisfaction.
  5. Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field.
  6. Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation.
  7. Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  8. Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  1. Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as contracts, correspondence, legal notices, court papers, or evidence.
  2. Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and involved parties.
  3. List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, or the lawyer's experience.
  4. Financial Information:
If applicable, bring financial documents like pay stubs, tax returns, or bank statements.
  5. Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case.
  6. Personal Identification:
Bring a valid ID for verification purposes.
  7. Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points.
  8. Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

  • Fee Structures:
    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.
    • Flat Fee:
For routine legal services like drafting a will or handling an uncontested divorce, lawyers might offer a flat fee.
    • Retainer Fee:
An upfront payment against which the lawyer bills hourly fees.
    • Contingency Fee:
Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
