My partner and I found David E. Jacobs online. During our first telephone conversation, I knew I had found our attorney. We needed an attorney that could advise us on several important items and understand the big picture of our issue. We had our first face to face meeting with Mr. Jacobs and hired him at that time, via retainer. Mr. Jacobs went the extra mile for us and resolved our legal issues. There are not enough good words I can say about how he successfully represented us. My partner and i highly recommend Mr. Jacobs and we would utilize him for future legal issues.

Mr. Jacobs was recommended. But soon after hiring him I realized that he really did not care what I had to say or what I wanted him to do for me. Like many attorney's, he just wanted the money. He was arrogant. He lacked respect for me and in fact even told me I was spoiled and that I needed to get a job. He did not take the time to research our family situation or me. He never saw the bigger picture just what he wanted to see. He was insulting. His plan failed and he blamed it on me. He kept saying he could not help me because I would not listen to him? Really? He told me I needed to get rid of my animals because they were costing too much. Really? This man is an awful attorney. Unprofessional and condescending. Way out of line. He screwed up and it will have a negative impact on my future.

The only family law attorney you will need! Divorce can be extremely stressful but with the help and guidance of Mr. Prieto the process was as smooth as possible. He was honest, timely, knowledgeable and compassionate. He assisted us with completing a joint agreement and avoiding lengthy and expensive proceedings.

I was recently looking for an attorney and contacted Mr. Prieto. He was very honest and was realistic with me about my case. Anytime I sent him an email he replied in a timely manner. I think many people have unrealistic expectations of attorneys and what they are capable of doing. He was upfront and realistic with me about my case from the moment I met him. I was very thankful for his effort and time which he gave my case. He isn’t like one of those big firms which you feel like your case gets lost in the shuffle! He deals with you directly. Thanks again Mr. Prieto!

I hired Mr Prieto after his “boss” Sheila Williams recommended him very, very highly. That was my first mistake Between not informing me of a summons that was sent to his office, not telling me about the hearing he was attending in my behalf, I learned quickly communication is not this guys strong point. But after we received the initial offer on the settlement, which was piss poor, I learned that Mr Prieto sat on his hands and ignored my file for 4 months. Don’t even think about hiring this man.

I hired David Nick and during his time on my case he was sanctioned 3K dollars. He also appeared late to a hearing which was followed by a reprimand by the judge. I watched attorney Nick for the first time in court, and when the judge asked him a simple question, his response was nothing like his written legal brief, he seemed to forget what he had written. Mr. Nick was paid 20k dollars for a trial but when the case didn't allow for a trial and Mr. Nick refused to return the money. I am forced to file a complaint with the State Bar. When confronted about the problems Mr. Nick caused in my case, he arrogantly denied any and all of the facts. Mr. Nick claims to be a Navy veteran, I also am a veteran, who regrets ever hiring him.

Many years ago, during a time that was SO ambiguous in federal bs. State laws that anymore and their mother could've been arrested - this amazing lawyer named J David Nick and his associate saved me and my boyfriend from years of false imprisonment. Being framed basically, his associate and him devised a strategic plan which led the accusers right into purgering themselves during deposition. Never even went to court. BEST LAWYER EVER.

I gave Ford Dent Munn a $10,000.00 retainer and after I fired him for incompetence he never gave me an accounting of his fees. He did not make an offer to the complainant that I instructed him to do forcing me to go to trial. I believe he did this to continue dragging this case out. He told me numerous times that business was slow so I suspect this is why he attempted to drag this case out. . He works out of a small one room office in an office for lease building.

These people help me fill out my eviction form 3 months ago. Because of the new Covid laws, he said I had to fill out the form as I was selling the house. The Squaters, not tenants, have been in the house for 18 month. So 3 months passed and I ask him to call me and send him an email he ask me for proof of service. I sent him back the email I sent him in July. He did not return my call and sent me an email asking me the same questions as he did when he first took the case. Answered his email and offered to send him zelle payment. At 5:30 on a Friday this guy sends me an email, NEVER A RETURN CALL,and tells me he is not going to follow through with the case! I would recommend you not to call!!!! The most unprofessional experience I have had in 35 years of business

I had difficult tenants who either needed to be caught up on their arrears or evicted. Mr Munn and his partner Mr. Casey took on my difficult situation and dealt with it swiftly and to my total satisfaction. I would recommend them to other landlords with touchy tenants.
