I worked with Goldsmith & Ogrodowski, LLC. for a few years. Even after a few years, I had to go check and make sure I had the name of their Law Firm correct. I know them by their first names, Fred, Rich and Heather. My 5 year nightmare started while working on a towboat as a deckhand, I was severely injured. After surgery and about 6 months, I tried going back to work. I didn't like where things were headed. I just wasn't able to do the same work as before. I still had so many issues. At the time, I had never had to call an attorney. I didn't know which way to go. It took a lot of time and thought before I finally made that decision. I now know that it was the right decision. My case was very complicated and took many years. Fred was my attorney, He worked tirelessly on my case. It felt as if I was his only client. It also felt like I was a part of his family.
They even treated my fiancée and kids like family.
I've had Fred call me at 8-9 p.m. and he was still working on my case. I could call or text any time with questions or concerns and he always responded quickly. It was never an issue. The amount of experience in this firm is amazing. Fred and Rich are the best at what they do. Very knowledgeable. This injury changed my life, forever. Fred understood that. I had hundreds of doctors appointments, a couple thousands pages of medical records. Fred knew every single detail. He was able to accurately answer any question asked over a long period of time and a period of time where things changed. You are not a number here, Fred truly cares. He takes your case and your future afterwards very serious. If you find yourself in a position needing an attorney, call, ask questions, do your due diligence, you won’t be disappointed. You will get what you deserve. The only thing I wish I could change is…..I wish I would have called G&O sooner. Thank you Fred, Rich and Heather. Thanks for everything you guys have done. Fred and co. helped my mother first, then my brother and I as co-executors, hold a large company responsible for damages to our family-built riverside property. Fred extended absolute professionalism in all endeavors relating to our situation. He was attentive, prompt and most of all, completely competent in every action executed. On a personal note, Fred made to hour+ trip to pay his respects at my mom's funeral. For this I'm eternally grateful.

I Hired Mr. Tabano to handle my divorce. I feel that was money very well spent. I am amazed at how quickly he got results and how easy everything was in my case. Very friendly to deal with. And his fee is very fair. He explained what the different routes we could take if things didnt go as easy as they did, and the costs if it came to going that route, but he was also looking for every way to keep costs as low as possible. But like I said, he got results much sooner than I expected. I really didnt think anything would really happen until June when we started the process in the beginning of Feburary. Then covid. So I expected it to take longer. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Steve represented me in two different child custody cases. The outcome was what was fair and expected. Even having questions when he was unavailable, Steve would call and discuss my cases on his drive home. My respect went so far as to refer some in-laws and their family members , who were also happy with the final results. I even called him earlier this evening to discuss a close friends awkward situation. I am sure I will hear from him tomorrow concerning this situation.

I chose Attorney Tabano to handle my divorce case and I couldn't be happier with his services. Michael was a huge help in keeping the lot and block numbers and ownership straight during a 4 parcel closing. We had to make certain that the closing company properly reported the transaction by the two different owners of the parcels. The tax treatment will be different for the owners. Some times there are changes that need to be made at the last minute and that is true with our recent closing. Attention to detail when it counted and we are grateful that Michael was able to deal with the closing company lawyer the buyers' lender and of course our family.

Real property was sold for a Trust along with other lots. Lender demands were tricky and we as sellers, needed special designation due to different tax consequences. Deeds were clearly described and seller concerns on payouts were carefully represented. Thank you!

If I could give a 0 stars I would. I do not recommend using this law firm unless you want to have a disaster happen to you . I hired this law firm to sell a popular piece of property in heart of downtown Pittsburgh. The Attorney that was assigned to me, Beth Shovlin has zero knowledge of the law , i don'teven know how she is a attorney , she doesn't understand any of the laws and gives horrible legal advice. Beth admitted making a huge blunder and just quit during the negotiations and kept the retainer. Which is a disgrace. Beth cost me tons of money to fix what she admittedly got wrong . I even paid double the amount of retainer fee that the firm was asking to have the property sold asap . Beth Shovlin was so awful. If she had any integrity, she would have resigned at the beginning & sent me to a transactional lawyer. If you want a gaint disaster on your hands and incomplete transactions, and incompetent lawyers representing you then hire this law firm . They have zero understanding of the real estate laws .
Beth Shovlin should resign as a attorney because she doesn't know anything about anything. As mentioned I had to hire another attorney to rectify the contract. Total waste of time . There are plenty of better options out there then this Law firm . This law firm is a total waste of time and money. Highly recommend staying far away from this Law firm .

I worked with Goldsmith & Ogrodowski, LLC. for a few years. Even after a few years, I had to go check and make sure I had the name of their Law Firm correct. I know them by their first names, Fred, Rich and Heather. My 5 year nightmare started while working on a towboat as a deckhand, I was severely injured. After surgery and about 6 months, I tried going back to work. I didn't like where things were headed. I just wasn't able to do the same work as before. I still had so many issues. At the time, I had never had to call an attorney. I didn't know which way to go. It took a lot of time and thought before I finally made that decision. I now know that it was the right decision. My case was very complicated and took many years. Fred was my attorney, He worked tirelessly on my case. It felt as if I was his only client. It also felt like I was a part of his family.
They even treated my fiancée and kids like family.

Fred and co. helped my mother first, then my brother and I as co-executors, hold a large company responsible for damages to our family-built riverside property. Fred extended absolute professionalism in all endeavors relating to our situation. He was attentive, prompt and most of all, completely competent in every action executed. On a personal note, Fred made to hour+ trip to pay his respects at my mom's funeral. For this I'm eternally grateful.
