Speeding ticket, serious violation (allegedly 31 over)...a mess. I reached out to Anthony, he responded immediately, I got him the info he needed, and that was it. My work was done. His was just getting started.
Court date arrived, Anthony attended on my behalf (I did not attend). I received a fine and zero points.
I was referred to Anthony by a friend who told me I'd love this guy, and she was right! If you need an attorney, this is The Man - period. He is responsive, understanding, efficient, and really (really!) good at his job.

Kelly went above and beyond to get the best outcome for my case. I switched to Kelly after working with an incompetent attorney who attempted to coerce me into settling. I had sole custody of my son (who has Asperger's) for 6 1/2 years. After I recently remarried, my son's father brought me back to court for joint custody and increased visitation. Kelly fought hard, and the end result is that I maintain sole custody of my son and my son's father was mandated to an alcohol and drug treatment program (which he failed to complete) with his visitation REDUCED to four hours per week in a public venue. It is extremely stressful when you are advocating for your child. Kelly is highly responsive, honest and hard working. She knows the law, the court system and the players. She gets the job done with excellence. I will always be grateful. I highly recommend her.

Do I expect to hire a lawyer to win a case no matter what? NO. Do I expect a lawyer to hold my hand and tell me everything is going to be fine and the world is made up of marshmallows? NO. What I expect is a attorney who takes your money to
1. Communicate with his client
2. Demand/find facts pertaining to his clients case
3. Fight for his client
4. Be somewhat honest (can’t expect complete honesty from anyone)
5. Have some level of professionalism.
Respect is earned not given. Kevin puts on a decent show, gives you some false hope. Literally as soon as he demanded the payment for retainer he left the room and didn’t come back. Reschedules first court date and doesn’t notify me, doesn’t have his office notify me.
Deliberately gave me the wrong time for court appearance. If he did honestly mix up the time then his incompetence is even more concerning.
I fired my first attorney because he committed malpractice and Kevin is honestly worse. I found 2 very high end attorneys who I wanted to replace Kevin with and they won’t touch my case because “the attorneys” made a complete mess of my case.
Seriously look elsewhere or represent yourself. Save yourself the money, stress and time you will waste on Kevin and his incompetencey.

I hate writing reviews; I mean, I REALLY HATE writing them. When you find a professional that stands out from the crowd, however, it's only appropriate to give praise as deserved.
Steve has been extremely patient throughout my legal journey and continues to provide sound advise and creative solutions for a difficult situation. What's most impressive, however, is his ability to think quickly on his feet, using his wit, skills (the man is absurdly smart and could write a book based on his in-depth knowledge and experience), and appropriately-timed sarcasm to deliver the message in a compelling and easily-understandable way.
If you're looking for someone who will sugar-coat things, Steve isn't your guy, though. We've had a lot of tough conversations and haven't always seen the case the same way. He's objective, taking the emotions out of the legal issues, yet still somehow seems to be more empathetic than most. Why do I mention this? If you want good representation, you can't work with someone who always tells you what you want to hear. Instead, you need someone in your camp who will help you through the emotions of the situation but more than that, keep you in the game; Steve is that person.

Steven Klein came highly recommended to me by numerous people when I found myself in a child custody matter with my ex husband. I contacted him right away as my court appearance was in the very near future and he was accomodating and eager to take on my case. After being dissatisfied by the final plea deal procured by a public defender in a DWI case, which was essentially a cop out to the initial misdemeanor charge, I decided it was worth trying to start over with a private attorney. During my free consultation with Serino, MacKay, & Berube, I offered to leave my paperwork with the firm to look over while I made my decision. Kevin declined the papers, citing privacy considerations. None of the other five plus local attorneys I interviewed did this, and I interpreted it as a sign of discretion and professionalism, so I hired them. The first victory in the case came when Rich was able to arrange for my license to be temporarily reinstated during a DMV hearing. The final resolution to the criminal side of the case came within six months of my hiring them, and took the form of a gulity plea to a lesser violation (DWAI), as opposed to a misdemeanor, which is what I was hoping for from the outset. Hire this firm if you want likeable, well-connected attorneys who are recptive to client input advocating on your behalf.

A close friend referred me to Mr. Berurbe and picking him as my lawyer was the best decision I could've made for myself after the unfortunate turn of events. He was knowledgeable and fought for me, getting my case resolved in just ONE MONTH!
