The “only secretary of the office” as she said herself is extremely rude and dismissive. She told me because of their workload the office will only respond via letters no information on the phone. When i asked the lady her name she tells me she doesn’t have to give me that information and that she is the only secretary of the office. I told her how can she be employed in an office and speak to customers in such a tone yet not want to state her name? When I asked to speak to her supervisor she said it was Allen Dubois but he was not there. I told her I will be making a complaint on her attitude and she hung up on me. Someone needs to fire this lady because why are you even employed if you don’t want to give your name or any information to the community seeking assistance from your office? Quit your job girl clearly you don’t care for it!

This is our second go round with Katherine Frye as our PC. The first time Katherine was scolded by the courts for overstepping her role as a Parent Coordinator when she changed the custody schedule, wrongly taking away half of my custody. While Katherine seems very knowledgeable in her field she doesn't seem to use that knowledge very well to help dissolve conflict in high conflict situations. Katherine Frye has consistently ignored emails related to alienation of affection, domestic violence, protection orders, withholding and many other issues, and has continuous used her "power of authority" as she likes to call it, to make many bias, one sided decisions. If you are in a high conflict case, or your co-parent suffers from narcissism, do not proceed with Katherine as your PC because her directives and help can be bought, and manipulated, inevitably becoming one sided. I would have to agree with a previous review that maybe Katherine is too busy with her practice or doesn't care enough to find out the actual issue at hand, because there is no way a law professional is supposed to be this disconnected and nonchalant about major issues.

While Ms Frye may or may not be a good attorney, I would recommend someone else with a therapy background to be your family's parent coordinator. Specifically, Dr. Carolyn Pender-Roche of Next Step Psychology is exceptional. She is a therapist and understands what is in the best interest of the children. Carolyn takes into consideration the psychology of each family member as well as seeks to understand the whole situation even if it takes time. I believe from my experience with Katherine Frye that Katherine is just too busy trying to manage her legal practice to take the time to fully understand the issues at hand. If you want someone who will listen well before hurrying to give a directive, go with Dr Pender Roche or even another therapist. Ultimately having someone who can truly be an advocate for the best interest of your children is what is most important even if they dont always do what you want. If you have an ex that lies well, you dont want Katherine Frye as your PC as she is too busy to notice.

Hello! I hired Ms. Frye, Esquire to review and assist through a complex divorce, and was thoroughly impressed by her knowledge, her willingness to engage and be my advocate, guiding me through multiple particular law procedures that may have inadvertently harmed my case, had I not known about them. I thoroughly recommend her to anyone looking for a powerful advocate through the many hoops, twists, and turns that Divorce proceedings can generate. I bombarded her with questions and 'what-if' scenarios and she was more than willing to take the extra time needed, so I could be fully armed to defend myself and ensure my estate was not damaged in any way. Through her guidance, I successfully dodged pitfalls and weaknesses, and I was able to complete my goals with the divorce swiftly and cleanly. Her staff was a joy to work with and communicate throughout the experience, before, during, and after the case resolution. Prompt, efficient, and an absolute pleasure to talk to. She communicates efficiently and powerfully. I realize it's hard to trust reviews online, but trust this; you will not go wrong choosing her to be on your side! She will be my attorney for life.

I have been on both sides of this table. I retained ms farber one time for a charge and everything went smooth as could be....very rea pond I've call ing me back did everything she could to help me..later down the road just so happen to be appointed ms farber I was happy thinking I would get same treatment...I was so very wrong. Worst attitude I have ever encountered with an attournney.very rude. Claims to never have time to talk to me.my freedom is in the hands of a terrible firm I would never wish for anyone to be treated as she has me. I bet if I was a child molester or serial killer or something crazy she would act diffrently. I try to be respectful but that get me nowere. I do not recommend this firm to anyone. Go to george Whitaker he is priced a little high but at least he respects his clients whether retained or appointed

She handled the entire case and was able to get my charge reduced to a plea of guilty to faulty equipment. Sarah was professional, knowledgeable, responsive. This was my first offense and my first time dealing with a legal professional to help me resolve my case, I'm glad I chose Sarah. I highly recommend her legal services!

The work that other attorney did in four hours, Rose did it in one hour. Net savings of three times with result base work. The best shortest and simplest extracted best of best. She can do hard or soft and filter through selectively by her knowledge and experience. Personally,it will take me 20 hours of her one hour work to even find her good reasoning and how she arrived at best result. I rather work 20 hours and help her as knowledgeable customer gets the most. In short, hire Rose first time you get consultation meeting, as I did and look no further. Her para legal Sherry Watson(best team player)will filter and extract 80%. and Rose will do 20% work and get top 80% result . Rose knows what she is doing, and you don't have to look for family attorney in the industry is not available to find any one like her. For only 20% cost you get 80% . Rose gets 100% work done till your case can get all result as it will be just and fare.

If you need to hire a Family Lawyer, you are likely going through a difficult or trying time. So you want to work with a lawyer who is compassionate, understanding, and competent. With Rose Stout, you get all of those qualities and more in spades. She went above and beyond what was required to ensure that I was prepared for court and to ensure that she was prepared for court – and indeed, I did feel completely prepared to make our case when I walked into the courtroom. During our four-day trial, I literally whispered to Rose more times that I can recall, "You are amazing." She absolutely blew me away with how she examined and cross-examined witnesses. Her opening or closing statement alone could have won the case. And, in fact, we did win. I have never seen a lawyer as compelling and convincing as Rose. I am still in awe of how thorough, prepared, and effective she was in the courtroom. Even after the verdict, she maintains a genuine interest in my well-being as I work to determine next steps in my life. It is hard going through a life situation that merits hiring a Family Lawyer. If you have to endure this personal circumstance, do yourself a favor and hire Rose Stout. If you do, you’ll find that navigating divorce and custody has a silver lining – it’s your lawyer, Rose.

I am a private investigator that has worked with Len through the years on several cases. She is a driving force on behalf of her clients. She is always available whenever I have a question regarding a case or need to clarify an issue. She has pushed both myself and my staff to the limits in terms of making sure our final work product is the best it can be for her clients. She is always fully prepared for court and I am always proud to be seated behind her. Len is a driving force and I highly respect her candor, work ethic and most of all dedication to her clients.

I hired Len Mueller to assist with divorce matters and a separation agreement. Everything seemed ok at first, and she asked for relevant financial documents and started working on an agreement for distribution. I then started to notice that little progress was being made on my case, and it seemed that I couldn’t get Len’s attention unless I made an appointment to come into her office for a conference. During these conferences, she would bill me close to, or in excess of, a thousand dollars each time, and we would often rehash the same issues. I then had trouble getting her or her staff to even respond to emails, and I had no choice but to send her a message conveying my dissatisfaction with her representation, and asking her to cease work. She basically told me to come pick up my file and wished me good luck. I asked for an electronic copy of my separation agreement, as a courtesy, so I could at least complete on my own. She would not respond to the request. In sum, I paid her nearly $4500 and walked away at close to square-one. In the end, I felt that she became argumentative and unprofessional to me. A previous reviewer stated that “she will only work cases she believes in fighting” so maybe mine wasn’t one of them.

Len and her firm are wonderful. I can not be happier with them. Everyone works so well together, it amazes me. My questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. Even after the divorce was final, she was there answering my questions. The process isn't a pleasant one, but having Len with me helped so much. There has never been a time when I reached out and she wasn't there. She went above and beyond.

I was required to use this law office through a relocation agreement. I would not recommend this office, if you have the choice. There were multiple instances where information provided was incomplete and required quite a bit of back and forth. With a tight timeline for purchase as an out of state buyer, this back and forth resulted in wasted time and additional stressors.

To The Law Office of Neubia L Harris, thank you for your dedication, prompt service, professionalism, and care you’ve shown me. I hired attorney Harris to represent my daughter in a case against a school/district where my daughter was wrongfully suspended. I provided a wealth of evidence and documentation and at the time of the hearing attorney Harris asked very few questions to opposing council and school staff. I felt like she was on the side of the school/district instead of my daughter’s side. I was extremely disappointed and she offered only a 30 minute prep right before the hearing. I don’t think she had the time nor reviewed my case as she was paid to do.

First of all i run my own business so i know what Mr. Stillo is going through and Im sure as an attorney i cant comprehend the utter depths of every client and case. But so far he has handled my case with care. He was upfront with pricing because i was upfront with my charges. He even offered to buy me lunch for a slight mishap that wasnt even major. But he thought it was necessary to offer me something for it. Im glad i retained him as my lawyer and even though at this present moment my case is still ongoing im sure it will be resolved with satisfactory results. I got myself into trouble and just because he is a lawyer doesnt necessarily mean its his job to get me out of it. The law is the law. I believe he is doing anything possible to make sure his resume looks good to keep himself in business. Thanks Jon Stillo for taking my case!

Ms Emily Weatherford of Kratt Dedmond & Associates was not the first to handle my estate planning but she brought a clarity and care to the process I had not before experienced. Not only was she able to explain multiple options so their benefits and limitations were apparent, as well as answer any questions I had, she was also able to present the larger picture with regard to my particular circumstances. She asked the right questions and grasped what was needed, then came up with more than one suggestion which we then considered together. I honestly didn’t know this often difficult to contemplate job of working through powers of attorney both regular and health, and setting up a will, could be done with understanding and excellent communication to accompany legal expertise. Ms Weatherford possesses all of these attributes and I would highly recommend her services as an attorney. I would also commend those working with her who arranged the accompanying paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.

I wish I had checked his reviews before making an appointment. I had a very simple question regarding what form to use and who should file the petition to get my son to immigrate and although Mr Suhr did give me the right form to fill out, the rest of his info was the opposite of what the Instructions were stating. Our meeting lasted less than 10 minutes as my question was so simple. The following day I called to point out the difference between his info and the instructions and was told that since I didn't sign an agreement, they would not help in any way clarify the matter. I wouldn't mind their poor customer service if they at least had given me the right info. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

I highly recommend Paul Suhr because he has a lot of experience, knowledge, dedication, devotion to help immigrants and works very hard on each and every case. The staff is very efficient and fast to help and to keep you informed about the status of your case. Paul Suhr is well known and respected among the immigration authorities. Therefore, it is an advantage to speed up the process of any case. Thanks to Paul Suhr my brother was not deported and got his citizenship. That was how I knew this amazing Lawyer and I immediately hired him to help me in my very difficult situation. He never gave me false hope and yet gave me a lot of confidence. His quotes are low compared to other lawyers and to my opinion are very low to the great and amazing job that he and his staff do. Paul Suhr was present every single time I needed him and he was one step ahead during the process of my case. He was also with me when I took the test for my citizenship. Through all this time I was able to see that this he is also an honest caring Lawyer. Thanks Paul Suhr for helping me with such interest and efficiency.

Still waiting on the results from a case from An auto accident I happened to be the on the receiving end, that occurred on August 25 of 2023. This process has been spotty with Eileen Mullen, she spoke to me maybe twice before a long 5/6 month stretch of no communication. I have been keeping contact as of late but if I’m not calling or asking about my case I don’t get updates. This case prolonging has created more issues for myself and 3 month old twins, the case is keeping us from procuring another vehicle large enough for two car seats. This case has been in the final stage which should only be 10 business days, for over a month going on two months now. If this case continues to drag on I’ll lose my home and my employment due to the lack of funds and transportation. I won’t use Kellum again.

These guys are the absolute definition of trashy ambulance chasers. They are the reason everyone hates lawyers. Yes, they will start off being sugary sweet, they lay it on so thick. But they will not fight for you. If there's anything incorrect in the accident report or any reason for them to actually go into a courtroom and do some work, it is not happening. These guys are looking for the easy case where they can make some money off of your unfortunate circumstance. They don't deliver on what they promise, and I learned my lesson the hard way.

They don’t communicate with you, they lose your files and get you very minimal money and take more money than they pay on your medical bills. They told me they couldn’t get me more money because they didn’t have pictures of my car which I sent to them at the beginning. I’m not sure what exactly they did for me that I couldn’t do for myself. Go somewhere else.

My husband and I used WWLG for our house closing and our attorney, Jennifer Sotack, was prompt, professional and made sure to truly represent us as the buyers. We could not have been happier with her service and I would highly recommend them if you care about your paperwork, attention to detail and professionalism.

Worst attorney I have ever had to deal with. Based on his performance in court, he is not knowledgeable in any forms of law. Complete waste of time and money

Ben and his firm played a pivotal role in assisting me during a challenging period in my life. Their dedicated efforts not only advocated on my behalf but also ensured transparent and consistent communication throughout the entire process. As a result of their effective representation, I am pleased to report that I have attained split custody of my son, a resolution that initially seemed unattainable. Furthermore, the divorce proceedings concluded amicably, leading to improved communication and cooperative scheduling adjustments with my ex-wife, reflecting a positive change in our co-parenting dynamics.

My former attorney Flores Was negligent, not helpful, and dishonest. I would not recommend to any client. He was hired to assist with my SS benefits. I had a assistant help me with filling out my application. This assistant proceeded to put false information and events in my application that did not apply to me or my case. Now when I talked to the SS doctor he picked up on this after he performed industry standard test and an interview to determine my condition. The doctor then took the time to inform me that my assistant had lied on the application. This is illegal and would make it very hard for me to proceed forward with SS benefits. When I discussed this with flores he chose to ignore both me and my doctors concerns about FRAUD. As a law abiding citizen this makes me extremely concerned for flores( someone who should know the law better than others and should have high moral standards). Truthfully he seemed more concerned with covering up the lies than even so much as talking to my assistant to correct the mistakes that were put in. He was even threatening, in such a way as to discourage me from reporting the incident. This is a serious matter and self respecting lawyer should undermine something so illegal and wrong. Hopefully other lawyers with morals will read this and help flores change his ways. I do not want, nor do I recommend attorneys that put making money over honesty, integrity, and truth. The other issue I have is he does not listen, he has his own agenda if it doesn’t fit his ideas that’s it (set in his ways, with blinders on). A good lawyer will listen, investigate, and do what is right. flores is the worst. Find another lawyer, one that cares and puts his or her clients first as well as the law.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  1. Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing.
  2. Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case.
  3. Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association.
  4. Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to gauge client satisfaction.
  5. Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field.
  6. Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation.
  7. Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  8. Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  1. Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as contracts, correspondence, legal notices, court papers, or evidence.
  2. Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and involved parties.
  3. List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, or the lawyer's experience.
  4. Financial Information:
If applicable, bring financial documents like pay stubs, tax returns, or bank statements.
  5. Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case.
  6. Personal Identification:
Bring a valid ID for verification purposes.
  7. Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points.
  8. Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

  • Fee Structures:
    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.
    • Flat Fee:
For routine legal services like drafting a will or handling an uncontested divorce, lawyers might offer a flat fee.
    • Retainer Fee:
An upfront payment against which the lawyer bills hourly fees.
    • Contingency Fee:
Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
