Please be careful with this firm... I don't know what they actually done.. I sent them info on my case.. and Rich was unprepared for court conference.. the judge was obsenely pissed off. Then I got bills for emails that I don't even know if he made because I received no copies of. My matter closed.. and in one of the bills they charged for review of documentation that was allegedly done after matter already closed in court. Secondly, he agreed to payments.. but drafted my bank account $2060 without my authorization.
I just got an email from them that they made a draft.. I reached out to the billing department not allowing them to do that.. but they did it anyways.
Every attorney has a client portal that they upload any emails, letters etc.. but this firm doesn't... so they just bill client for what could be bogus work that they allegedly done...but client has no proof that they did it..
Also, I had to send repeated emails about a certain thing on my case.. which they wouldn't reply.. sent another email about same thing.. and then finally within a week I would get a response.. so yeah I also got charged for those emails.
Bunch of shady crooks.. we'll see if they send me back the check that I sent them prior to the draft..

Anna Mae is great, but was left unhappy with the services rendered for a few reasons. I signed an initial retainer for a mediation document review and scheduled 2 video calls. On the call it was advised that I would need to sign on to a higher retainer which was fine and I did. Once the calls were completed, at no point was I notified that the costs had exceeded the retainer and instead received an email a week after the calls that the costs incurred were well over double the retainer and I had to pay to receive the finished document, but with no justification or explanation for the time spent outside the calls. It seems like fair practice should be to notify the client when you're over the retainer and how much additional work you expect it to be. Additionally, though I provided a word document for them to review and edit, they refused to send me a word document of their edits and would only send a locked PDF which doesn't allow me to make any further modifications as we move through the mediation process and any additional edits would lead to me spending more for them to do it. Both of the other attorneys I have worked with for the drafting and review have been more transparent regarding billing and provided word documents that we can use to edit on our own as the situation evolves.

I do not recommend this firm. As seniors, we needed a will - a simple will. We went to T. Dengler who, as an estate lawyer, was trusted to advise us properly. A few simple questions turned into a Trust that we did not understand nor did we ask for and we told him so. He gave us a brief explanation and we told him we still didn't understand - he encouraged us to sign. Also, although we were quoted a price for this will, the Trust fees were never discussed or mentioned. Asking him how much he replied he had to "figure it out". We were distressed and sleepless worrying how much this would cost. I will state that this was settled after our complaint but now we have to start over and this has left us to distrust lawyers, Do your homework, you can get more info from Google.

Elissa Perkins is beyond a wonderful, smart and amazing attorney! She was appointed to me during my very complicated and difficult divorce and child custody case. I am a single mother with a young five year old boy which whom I was very concerned about and was seeking supervised visitation with his father. Without the help of DCPP, Elissa was my only hope. We were faced with two legal disputes with contractors who did very shoddy work at our home and refused to fix their mistakes. Mr. Denver filed one lawsuit in Ocean County Special Civil Part and another in Monmouth County Superior Court, Law Division. He was able to successfully resolve both matters extremely quickly, without protracted litigation, and obtained a settlement which allowed us to fix the shoddy work.

I would have faced a severely depleted financial retirement future had it not been for Mr. Denver's patient persistence in pursuit of Insurance coverage related to the excavation and remediation required as a result of oil seepage from an abandoned oil tank discovered in the process of my selling the house in which I had lived for 40 years, The soil contamination was found to be deep and close to the house foundation, requiring multiple installations of steel foundation supports. With the cost of the remediation building close to 6 figures, and the Insurance Company I had for over 40 years denying my initial Homeowners policy claim, I had the good fortune to have a friend recommend retaining Dr. Denver at the Denver Law Firm. Mr. Denver studied survey maps, engineer's and soil boring reports, and voluminous material and documents related to the Environment Company's work. He worked with me to gather as much documentation as I could find related to past insurance policies even though in the anticipation of moving, I had shredded ancient records. He pursued the Insurance Company to conduct a policy search, established sufficient proof of coverage going back many years, and through negotiations and persistence, and without litigation which could have taken years, successfully obtained for me a significant contribution from the Insurance company toward the cost of the remediation. Getting seriously injured at work is something that can be jarring enough on it's own, then to have to navigate NJ's extremely complicated Workman's Comp system all by yourself. Mr. Santarsiero was referred to me shortly after a work related accident and from the day of our very first meeting, I was never less than 100% satisfied with his services! I support a family of 4 (two small children) so to me, getting things done smoothly and efficiently was as important as anything else I had ever done in my life! Having heard nightmares about "how these cases take years and years to settle" it was important to me that I retained someone who would not only have mine and my families best interests in mind, but who also wouldn't allow my case to get hung up in limbo while everything else around me deteriorated. Not only did Mr. Santarsiero get things done in the exact time frame he said he would, in most cases he did it in much less time! His secretary Cathy was also extremely helpful! Not only is Charlie a genuinely nice man, he also has an incredible grip on what it takes to be a lawyer and get what you need done. I had him do a closing for me a few months ago and it went as smooth as it could have with Charlie always only a phone call away. I would recommend Charlie to all of my friends and family and will be going back if I ever need him again.

A friend of mine recommended that Charlie Karcher handle the closing on my house a couple of years ago. I was so happy how that process went, that I went back to Charlie to prepare a will for me. He's really easy to work with and the other people in his office are very nice. I'd recommend Charlie Karcher and the Karcher Law Firm to anyone that needs a lawyer. I was referred to Kristin by a friend and I am truly grateful that I was. Filing for divorce was the hardest thing I have ever done, but Kristin helped me through it ever step of the way. She was a true friend, caring about my daughter and me as is I was her brother. She fought hard for me and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. She really impressed me when she appeared in court. Joe Hughes is a wonderful attorney who cares very much about his clients and doing the right thing. He was extrmely responsive and informative with me throughout the whole process. They have people fill out an extensive questionnaire to weed out potential clients they seem undesirable and unworthy of their representation, then tell you "We are at our case volume currently." Lol. Really? If that were true, then why not just say so to begin with. No. That's a fraudulent response that translates to: you're too poor or in a situation (like a marriage involving possible domestic violence) for me to waste my time with. I can only be bothered with easy cases with lots of cha-ching $$$. Sad.
