Ryan has helped me twice with a family trust. He is friendly and easy to talk with, and he takes the time to explain everything clearly. It happens that his notary is also his wife; she is a delight. I'm so comfortable working with Ryan. I have recommended him to friends and they are also very happy with his service.

Ryan Fender is an unbelievably dedicated and knowledgeable lawyer in his field. I had a very sensitive and emotional situation when my father died and my brother sued me and he helped us and was sensitive to my broken heart but also kept it real and calmed me down. He knows everything you could even think of and then some. I couldn't be happier with his help and he also answered every single email or call in a very timely manner. Even when he was on vacation, he answered me in a minor emergency situation. Thank you Ryan!!! You are the BEST!!!

Ryan is an outstanding attorney! He is very thorough and got my family through probate! When I had any questions about the process, he answered my questions throughly and in a timely manner. I have referred 2 people in my family to Ryan. One is currently using him for probate and one is about to use him from probate. If I ever need a probate lawyer again there is no question of who I work with again!

Attorney Esther Wang is truly a gem in her field. I went for her service a year ago and I am so happy and grateful. Unfortunate events happened in my family and we need to set up a trust for my elderly mother. Attorney Esther Wang set up two trusts based on my situations and continues to provide consultations and supports after the trusts were set up. A recent law change for irrevocable trust throw the purpose of trust out of whack. I received notice of the change from Attorney Esther Wang and I reached out to her to discuss possible solutions. I was getting anxious and worry because we are closer to the year end and afraid my elderly mother could get impacted negatively in her life when new year come. Attorney Esther Wang and I had several conversations to assess my situation and offered couple plans to ease my concerns. Meanwhile, she looked deeper into my situations and found a case similar to mine and told me we could always work things out if any negativity happen for my elderly mother and I. What a relief! I am so grateful and happy. Thank you Esther!

I didn't get to talk to any attorneys at the firm because my case wasn't eligible for them to take. So I don't have any experience with the lawyers. However, the front desk who picked up the phone, Richard? was really rude, took the questions and comments I had personally, was supposed to provide me with another number and abruptly hang up on me with unfinished conversation. Again, I didn't pass the receptionist, but if the firm wants better review, they might look into who takes the call for their company since they are the connecting staff.

I can’t express the level of gratitude for this law firm. From the first moment I met everyone I felt like I was in good hands. I never had any problems reaching out to anyone with questions, and always received a timely reply. Everything they did was documented and emailed to me, so I always knew exactly what was going on with my case. Everyone was great, and I will always recommend this law firm to anyone who needs them.

Very disappointed with this law office. All attorneys need to understand an take into consideration every one who call has a problem an needs representation. I spoke to Lauren who was very disrespectful and inconsiderate. This law office needs to understand there job is to hear the matter at hand hear what facts an evidence will support any case/matter. It is then taken into consideration if there office can or can't not take your case. Lauren would not listen. She was argumentative. These attorneys charge way to much an have to understand once retained your now there boss they then must represent you an the fact at a high level. I would not recommend this office to anyone. Lauren must learn to be patient an understanding. She lost client an retainer fee. Now I see why her partners are also in need.

I was a financial advisor for 17 years in Redlands and Craig Parker is my 'go to' estate planning attorney! When my in-laws had a VERY messy & complicated probate (that other attorneys weren't even interested in helping us with at ANY cost); Craig was extremely professional, efficient, and only charged us a fraction of what he could have. She was a family attorney for my dad' estate. When my dad passed away on September 10, 2021, I had some questions to ask her. I did not continue to ask them daily as she says. I was asking important brief questions for some immediate short answers. She charged me for calling her office. That was very insensitive for her to charge me for these short questions and answers that her office gave me.

We met Kathleen Albrecktson three years ago through a mutual friend. He had used her services many times in the past and highly recommended her firm. She and her staff are respectful, concerned and knowledgeable. We highly recommend her to families who need financial and estate planning advice.

So we also had our Trust set up with Albrektson Law. We were pleasantly surprised that their rates are very reasonable. Kathleen and her staff know what they are doing. She spent time that we needed and answered all our questions. Her staff also followed through and clarified other questions once we started our Trust. Very pleased and with complete confidence!

BEWARE!! HARASSING, HORRIBLE AND MONEY HUNGRY ATTORNEY FOR SERVICES HE DID NOT DO!! I continue to be harassed by the law office for a bill they did not render services for! Mr. Young was already paid and received payment from the respondent almost a year ago. For which he stats to me you n front of 2 witnesses that I did not owe him any more money. In his exact words "we are square. You owe me nothing." My witnesses wrote out affidavits and submitted them. I had to FIRE this attorney due to him making back door negotiations with Opposing Counsel withOUT my knowledge or consent. He did nothing for me! And still got paid over $16,000 and continues to bill me for services not rendered! See his yelp reviews! He's a 2.8 on Yelp!

I would give Mr. Young 0 stars if that were an option. Mr. Young was my second attorney on my divorce case because I was seeking a strong custody lawyer and he was suggested to me as a custody attorney. I have nothing positive to say and deeply regret using him. He charged a lot of money for absolutely no benefit, I literally would have gotten the same result if I had represented myself. I say that confidently as I am now three years post divorce and have represented myself at numerous hearings over the years. Ladies dealing with domestic abuse situations in particular do not use this attorney. My ex was abusive. I asked for some basic things in my custody agreement such as doing custody exchanges at a public place. Mr. Young scoffed and asked if that was really necessary stating I would find it to be an inconvenience down the road. Three years later, my ex is still abusive and I am so grateful I insisted on adding this language despite his "advice" not to. I was the primary supporter financially of our family and asked Mr. Young to fight on my behalf to reduce my alimony obligation based on the fact that our marriage did not contribute to my ex's inability to support himself. He said there was nothing he could do about alimony. Three years later, I've had three different attorneys tell me I should have fought the alimony originally and that it's harder to change later. I am currently going back to court to get it reduced. He made no effort on the custody agreement. He simply wrote into the agreement the items I provided to him. I am regularly finding errors which has caused a lot of difficulty in coordinating visitation exchanges. For the amount of money I paid him, and because he's marketed himself as a custody attorney, I would have expected the custody agreement to be air tight. Mr. Young was my second lawyer so my paperwork had already been filed, however, his office insisted on refiling. I found numerous errors they needed to correct. I was charged a lot for them to do something i had never asked and for them to do it incorrectly. Every step of the way, the work Mr. Young and his office provided was incorrect, unhelpful, and cost a ridiculous amount. I can not strongly enough urge people, especially women, to not use Mr. Young's services.

Consistently delays hearings & admitted it to one of my witnesses! Also, (congrats to her) she's pregnant & will be on maternity leave probably Mid Oct 2024 until next year! She started off strong, UNTIL SHE WASN'T!! Which only lasted a few weeks. Acts like she cares about your case. I absolutely promise, she does NOT! She has no empathy for your divorce. Only her pocket book & vacations! You have to beg her to get something done! In an 8 month span, she has been absent 3 months, for vacations! Upon her return she has her office call me for more funds. In total she took me & my family for $24,000. My divorce has been going on for 2 years. 15 months w/Ms. Laundis. I hired her to help w/a very contentious divorce. She assured me she could handle this case! Obviously, she could NOT. She kept telling me I was giving the respondent too much credit, saying "he's not that smart." But then I'd predict his next move. She'd say to me, "you really know this guy." No Sh*t Sherlock! I was the one married to him! She rushes the case w/the Judge & will dismiss motions to make things easier for her. She'll make promises over the phone, then denies she ever said it! SHE DOUBLE CHARGES HER CLIENT'S. She copped to it over the phone to me. Then to smooth things over, she deducted $10,000. off of my bill as what she "claimed" was a "courtesy."You don't take $10,000 off a bill for a courtesy! I made it very known that the person I was divorcing was going to cause a lot of issues, lie about income, expenses, committed no less than 10 Atro's violations, stalked me, committed perjury, along w/ lying to an officer in 2022 on camera. & now has 21 contempt charges. First court appearance w/her, she called me to asked if we could dismiss 35 motions to compel that the respondent was to provide the Court. I Stated "NO." I had paid a previous attorney for those motions & believed them to be vital to my case. She stated "we could handle it at another time." So she dismissed them. I was so mad! She over books herself w/clients. She gets her clients cases mixed up in court. She even discussed someone else's case w/me instead of mine. Since my motion to compels were dismissed, she realized we "DID INDEED" need the info & thus subpoenas were sent out to all of the companies. Which only delayed my hearings even further. I better not see a bill for, since it was her error, Not mine! In January 2024 a temporary court order was put into place. After 21 days of the order not being complied w/by the respondent, I requested Ms. Laundis to file contempt charges. Arrangement was set for early June. Only to find out that the respondent hired an attorney last minute. (as I predicted he would to Ms Laundis) Knowing that his arraignment would be extended. Court was to be set sometime in July, as his attorney could catch up on the case. But because she would be gone for a 5 week vacation abroad, my hearing date would be extended another 2 1/2 months. Now that the hearing is here, she demanded more money & had her office personnel advise me that if I don't pay, she will not represent me at the hearing. I sent her an email asking to pls help me make a proposal to the respondent. As I just want this divorce over. I made her an offer that would provide her funds. She wrote “payment arrangements will not be acceptable" I made it very known when she accepted the case "that the respondent was to pay for my attorney fees." She NEVER filed that paperwork. A family member left a 1 star review, stating she was just after people's money & not doing her job. She saw the post & called me up to let me know she would not complete my case due to the third party review. But she'll take their money!

“I would recommend Lauren and Laundis law to anyone looking for an efficient attorney who is willing to fight for you. My daughters father took me back to court to prevent me from moving and to keep her from leaving for college. (She graduated early and we’re all so proud!). My anxiety and fear for the both of us was all consuming but Lauren was amazing and put me at ease. She’s confident in the court room, efficient and not willing to play anyone else’s games. She’s a wonderful attorney and you’d be lucky to hire her!”

Sorry. Just Being Honest. This lawyer was irresponsible in most every way possible. She was sued by another lawyer for failing to perform her job. According to the State Bar, she was irresponsible - albeit not criminally irresponsible ( in which case, she would have been disbarred). She did not pay us (her former client), as per the written agreement. She has a poor reputation among other lawyers (I do challenge anyone to prove this to be incorrect) for late filing; never meeting with clients and even turning on her own clients. Please check her reviews (on other websites) before making a final decision. Do your research and make an informed decision, as this lawyer tends to prey on people in desperate situations.

I hired Jeff Grotke to represent me in my child custody/ support case. Mr. Grotke and his staff performed awesomely!!. From the first interview until the final judgment I was informed of any updates, including court dates and was provided constant feedback throughout the process. Mr. Grotke and staff were able to secure proper visitation through the courts for my non-custodian child as while as primary custody of my youngest child. He fought hard with the Child Support Services Department to ensure my ex-wife provided accurate income verification which resulted in the reduction of support paid by 80%. Thanks to Mr. Grotke for doing something I’ve tried to do for over 10 years. I would recommend this law firm to anyone that needs real results.

Mr. Hartnell was hired to remove a trustee, my disappointment actually comes from the lack of communication. He nor his assistant would ever keep me up to date on my case, or whether the emails I sent him were received. I was always kept in the dark, which is my biggest complaint. A simple, " hey I got the docs", or "I received the emails" or I am working on your case, would've helped. I felt like I had to do all the work, and yet he never kept me up to date on what was on going. He if it was negative news, some news is better than no news. I always had to call and follow-up, and push things along to the next step. There was a draft pending and he had questions, but I was not made aware of this till I called in to ask what the hold up was. I hired him so I wouldn't have to stress, and all I did was stress. The process dragged on longer than it should have. My experience with him was not a good one unfortunately.

At first over the phone he sounded like it would be able to help me. Hired him, met with him and it just went down hill from there. I did almost all the filing and document work myself to even get a court date. Went to court more then once with his appearance and he was just a waste of money! Seems to be all he cared about was the money because he didn’t help me out at all.

I was going through an ugly divorce that was devastating. I went through three different attorneys and it was taking years to resolve. I was lucky enough to FINALLY find Mr. Katzman and I knew the moment I met him he could handle my case competently, professionally and without delaying it any further. He is patient and kind and professional and very fair. He is the perfect attorney to handle any family law matter including child custody, dividing up property and other sensitive family matters. When my divorce was final he handled a business contract matter for me. I am also going to have him handle my trust. He is competent in many areas of law, and an honest and sincere attorney who wants only the best for his clients. He is very knowledgeable. Hire him if he tells you he can handle your case. He's an incredible person and a great lawyer with lots of valuable experience!

Mr. Brian Holohan has no integrity. He represents and will lie for and forge paperwork for abusers, that choke their wives and abuse their children. Silvia his Secretary is nice to communicate with, but honestly she is the only thing holding this mess of a show together. This attorney will do anything for the money. He will make you lose a case because the judge can see his lies and inconsistencies. He tries to make victims of domestic violence look crazy when the proof is in the paperwork and in the witnesses. Anyone that represents someone that nearly killed a woman and continues to stalk harass, and abuse his children deserves any karma coming to them, and anyone associated with him does as well. The people you represent says a lot about you as a person and as your character. The interaction with him speaks for itself. Anyone that can treat victims with little integrity is a pathetic human being. How can a pathetic human being win a case for you. Food for though. Take your business elsewhere, if you don’t want this karma on you. He will try to violate your medical and HIPPA rights if you don’t know them. Just speaking to this type of person will make you lose a case because he lies, if you do end up having to deal with him, make sure it’s all in writing, keep track of everything so you can prove it. He’s been caught 5 times in the court room with lies causing my case to be continued and the abuser to be lose to continue to stalk and to commit identity theft by taking out pay day loans under my name to pay for his lying attorneys retainer, and he’s not even my attorney, he is the other parties. The person that represents you speaks volumes of you in court case. Don’t go in there represented by a liar that the judge can see right through. It’s a waste of your time, energy and money.

I used him before and then fired him and he does not honor refunds. So, I went back with relatively easy task and he just agreed with the other attorney and I'm saddle with excessive child support. He made me put together an extensive financial report that he didn't even use. Terrible!

I have been told that he was on vacation for a week by his secretary. So I called a week later and was told oh I told you 2 weeks he was on vacation...I was lied to! I have been trying to get ahold of him for over a month and a half. I even went in one day and the secretary said he was in court and I look over at the office and he was in there!!!! I saw through the crack on the side of the blinds on the door. Poor client relation's!!! He act's invincible rushes you through any and all conversation's you may have with him. He sure did take my money though. Still 3 months later he has not done a thing on our case!! Very disappointed. Unlike him our money doesn't grow on tree's and we are having to deal with the case by ourselves.

A certain dollar amount was mentioned as a retainer in initial consultation, in which Mr Ziprick was hired to assist in defend us in a frivolous claim that had no merit. has worked very hard on our dime to help the plaintiff in their case against us, and after costing us four times the noted retainer fee, provided us with bad advise.

Ms. Nelms was hired by my mother with me also representing her as her Attorney-in-Fact. My mother wanted a letter written to my sister to resign as a Co-Trustee of a Trust B, so my mother could resume that position. I was the other Co-Trustee, so in effect, Ms. Nelms represented us both for Trust B. Ms. Nelms agreed after talking with my mother and a $500 retainer was paid. We then received a letter requesting $5,000 from Ms. Nelms. When called about this, it was stated Ms. Nelms had called my sister in lieu of sending a letter as retained to accomplished. A letter was sent Ms. Nelms to just send the letter to my sister asking her to resign as directed. Ms. Nelms then withdrew and sent a billing statement for $1,200. A letter then had to be sent rejecting her requested fees and to refund $400 of the retainer. We were dunned for payment and had to respond once more to file a lawsuit, as the requested payment was denied. The letter Ms. Nelms was retained to send never was sent, so in fact Ms. Nelms did nothing but become a nuisance to both my mother and me.

Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.

    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:

  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
