Over the last 4 years my partner and I have went through a child custody battle I wouldn't wish on anyone. The first 2 years we felt very bullied in court. I was selling my home FSBO and needed a lawyer to review the documents and help me with the title transfer. I live 3,000 miles from the property that I was attempting to sell and needed an attorney close to it so that the sellers could have the closing at the attorney’s office. In my search, I called about 22 attorneys that advertised themselves as real estate attorneys. I received a return call from two. Fortunately for me, Kerry Lee Prisock was the first, and, how glad I am that he was. After reading his online reviews, I decided he was my attorney of choice. Am I glad I did? He made the 3,000 miles seem like nothing. Most of the communication was electronic via email and text. I paid for his services via PayPal (how cool is that??). I was soon to find out that he is probably the most accommodating attorney when it comes to schedules. I’ve sent texts late and received responses when most would have turned off their phones. He was actually willing to have the closing on Memorial Day (go figure!!). When the buyers ran into trouble with the time for the closing, he rescheduled one of other clients so that they could meet with him based on their schedule.
But, this is what sets Mr. Prisock apart from all others. The transaction was complete, I had paid him and he had provided all services promised. So needless to say, I was surprised when, the next day, I received an email from him saying that the bank needed more information from me. I truly believe that if Mr. Prisock was the average attorney, he would have considered the transaction complete and I would never have received that email. The agreement had been met on both sides….there was nothing further to be done. But being who Mr. Prisock is, he went out of his way to make sure I received the information. Because I received it in a timely manner, I was able to ensure that the closing went through.
If you haven’t decided on an attorney to help you with your situation, please consider this one. From the bottom of my heart, I believe he will serve you well.

Kerry recently helped my husband and me with the purchase of our home. We had some major issues that we needed negotiated with the seller to be able to close on the home. We are from out of state, so we weren't familiar with any area attorneys. We called a few law offices, but Kerry seemed the most competent. We hired him without even meeting him and paid him via PayPal. He did everything he said he would and more to get us to the closing stage. He was always available via phone, email, or text. We are more than grateful that we were lucky enough to stumble upon him. We highly recommend Kerry without reservation for legal services!

I wanted to take a minute to recommend Mr. White and his firm to interested parties. I was involved in divorce proceedings which are never pleasant. As it turned out the opposing attorney for what ever reason attempted to delay over and over again despite the fact he had made the original filing. Mr. White and his team continued to say on top of the issue and because of his efforts and contacts within the legal system we were able to resolve the proceedings in an equitable manor for all.

During my divorce I hired Todd to represent me. Todd aggreed to represent me even though I was in middle of my divorce and was not comfortable with a previous attorney working my case. Todd's assusances to me that he would work more diligently to a faster resolve gave me a comfortable and confident feeling. Unfortunately things turned bad and Todd was ultimately prepared for what ever was encountered. Todd did not allow me to be run over by opposing counsel. I was pleased with the professionalism and respect that Todd and his staff showed. This office was all about me and careing for my needs. Secondly after the divorce unfornate circumstances with child custody arose. During the dispute Todd and his staff worked even more diligently and confidently for the health and saftey of the children. Todd was very quick to file all apporpriate cases without hesitation. Great - very straightforward with me about how things were going to work. He was a lil slow meeting me at the court house on some of my court dates...ok, really, really slow a few times...but i'm def not his only client, so I get that part. In the end, he was able to get several charges thrown out and got me on probation when I probably shouldn't have been. Overall very pleasant to work with & a pretty cool guy in general. Hired Mr. Wheeler to handle my divorce. It was a nasty divorce and a difficult one, but he got me a better deal than I ever imagined. While in the middle of the divorce, because I was a little messed up, I got a DWI. Mr. Wheeler worked with the DA to get me basically off while sternly instructing me that he wouldn't do this again and told me to get it together. I did and am turning my life around.

I received an arrest for a 3rd DUI. Needless to say I was at my wits end. There was no blame to go around, it was my fault. I was referred to Mr. Gray and was very fortunate for him to take my case on. Due to fact I was a Veteran, Mr. Gray was very familiar with the Veterans Court Program here in Rockwall County. He was actually a part of the Vet Court Team for some time. We agreed the Vet Court program was the best course of action. Mr. Gray worked closely with me to get me into the program. It was not an easy process. On my part, I was writing letters and Mr. Gray was in constant contact with the County DA. Needless to say, approximately 9 months later, I was accepted into the program. After two years in the program and successfully completing the rigorous requirements, my charges were expunged. None of this would have happened without Mr. Gray. If you find yourself in serious legal bind, and you feel like there is no hope, I would highly recommend reaching out to Mr. Greg Gray!

I've known G. David Smith for over a decade and he's my go to person when anything arises in business (yes, even though when it's outside his scope of practice). He's down to earth, makes you feel comfortable and his ethics are very high. He's a straight shooter and doesn't sugar coat it. His office is a very comfortable setting in a beautiful victorian house. He's knowledgeable and if he doesn't know something when it's out of his scope of work, he tells you and researches it. If it's not worth it, he will tell you to move on and take your bruise.

I love this guy. Against a lot of obstacles he was able to win our case in a all day trial. We were up against the attorney generals office and my ex- wife's private attorney in a Dallas Family Court with the odds stacked firmly against us. His research and professional demeanor over came those odds and we won the trial and a request for retrial was denied. The case is now with the 256 th court of appeals and I have the utmost confidence in Mr. Brooks to get us through this as well. I'm single with no kids and I wanted to make sure my house and earnings were available to certain members of my family should I pass untimely. Ms. Nwigwe sat down with me and explained what would happen to my possessions in the event I passed without a will and circumstances that could arise in the event I do have a living will. She took the time to answer all my questions and even made herself available by phone afterwards. She explained the process to me clearly and did not pressure me to hire her. She gave me some links that I might be interested in and told me to call her if I had any questions or concerns.
After looking over some of the information and speaking with my family, I contacted Ms. Nwigwe again and told her I wanted to start drafting my will and living will. She kept me updated and involved throughout the process, which made me very comfortable. She completed the documentation in a timely and efficient manner.

The Law Office of KC Ashmore deserves a 10 STAR Review. KC Ashmore got a serious traffic offense dismissed for me which saved me from a conviction and a an enormous insurance battle. This cab driver hit my car, crunched in the side and was trying to blame me for causing an accident where they were clearly at fault. The prosecutor would not budge until KC Ashmore, a highly skilled trial lawyer, let them know that we had witnesses and were completely ready to try the case before a jury. They talked to our witness, dismissed the case & charged the cab driver. Mr. Ashmore is very professional, well prepared for trial, promptly returns phone calls and is a tough Texas trial lawyer. He gets an A+++ in my book!

It was very difficult making the decision to go through bankruptcy. My biggest fear was getting a lawyer who did not care or have a personal touch. Carrie was exactly what we needed. She really made me and my wife feel very comfortable about the process and was extremely knowledgeable. She was attentive to our needs and was able to answer all of our questions. When we finally went through the courts to disposition our bankruptcy, it went so smoothly. We did not have one issue. Please keep in mind you get out of this what you put into it.
