Carlos won our case for us when we were pushed out of our home by our landlord in San Francisco. A rent controlled home that I resided in for over 10 years starting in 2004. He didn't give up on us in a battle of a very big SF real estate company versus an individual family and and in the end we came out on top. He is very professional and a very kind person. I would recommend Carlos to anyone out there in a similar case.

She is one of a kind- prompt in answering emails, calls and inquiries, approachable, honest, straightforward, witty, pro active. We’ve only met for a short time, she listened, had genuine concern, and had acted right away. My case was resolved in less than half an hour. And even after that, Julia still reached out when she has concerns. And she only charged reasonable fees. Words are not enough to thank Julia for what she has done. DWD, and Bron specifically, has been great to work with.
I had a pretty straight forward uncontested divorce, but there still is paperwork and hoops to go through that I wanted help with to make sure it's done correctly. Bron was always super responsive and happy to explain, even for such a “simple” divorce. She was very helpful both through email and text, and everything worked out in the time expected, so would definitely recommend DWD.

In 2021 because of a foot problem My wife had to go out on disability. We contacted our insurance company and they told us she wasn’t covered even though we’ve been paying for for years
I called around the several disability Attorneys. I didn’t get the feeling they cared. Nobody listened to anything about the case. They just said yes they could cover us and told us the fees.

I don’t have a ton of experience with lawyers, but would 100% recommend working with Cary after utilizing him to help with our prenuptial agreement. Cary was knowledgeable, quick to respond, and made the process as easy and straightforward as possible.
Since Cary was my lawyer and my partner had a different lawyer, I can tell you that our experience was one of extreme differences. While Cary was no nonsense, great at listening and modifying the document to support our wishes, and respectful of our timeline- my partners lawyer was an absolute nightmare for us both.
One large difference between the two was that Cary had a flat rate fee and my spouses lawyer charged by the hour. Because of this, I firmly believe his lawyer drew the process out as much as possible, often completely disregarding our express wishes, and did everything extremely last minute- causing a lot of stress and unnecessary anxiety for us all.
That said, Cary did a fabulous job handling working with someone so unimpressive, and I believe is the only reason we ended up with a document at all.

There are a lot of good lawyers out there, but when your child is in trouble, you need a GREAT lawyer, and that's where Mike Silveira comes in. Today, Mike contacted us to share the fantastic news that our son's case was dismissed. This was no easy feat. Our son received a DUI in Nov. 2020, and to make matters worse, fentanyl (not intentionally ingested) was found in his system. We looked at reviews online and we chose Silveira Law based on the great reviews we read. We could not be happier with the outcome. For more than 3 years, Mike Silveira fought for our son, never giving up and doing everything legally possible to have the case dismissed. Mike stuck with it and continued to work the case even when the DA refused to reduce or dismiss it due to newer and stricter policy surrounding unintentional fentanyl. There are no words to describe our amazement when we learned today that the case was not just reduced -- but dismissed! Now our son can move forward with a clean slate -- all thanks to Mike. Susan Rubenstein was very effective at handling my employment issues and she negotiated a great settlement for me. She is very experienced and was excellent at mapping out an exit strategy for me which worked out perfectly. She is very hard working and smart, and she can easily deal with experienced opposing counsel. She was able to get me what I wanted in a very professional and stress free manner. I had an excellent experience with Ted. He received a favorable decision for me and kept me informed throughout the whole process. Dealing with legal issues can often times be very stressful, but working with Ted alleviated much, if not all, of the stress associated with my particular situation. I appreciate the opportunity to share my unfortunate experience with Dolan Law Firm. I also appreciate the time the case manager, Mercedes, took to briefly listen to my concerns. I didn't expect to receive services from Dolan Law Firm from the questions I was asked during the information (intake) gathering. I messaged them since their website was advertised on another website as a possible law firm for civil rights cases. I read their reviews and a lot of reviews seem to be accident (personal injury) cases. Possibly there's a quota that needs to be fulfilled or the documentation that was requested that I emailed to the case manager was reviewed and or searched possibly for a statement regarding a accident and or personal injury, I am uncertain. I would have preferred to have received an email message regarding the type of case(s) the law firm is/was currently interested in taking.I realize not every person and or potential clients can be 'pleased'. However, the few negative reviews listed for this law firm have concerning and possibly valid points that I think potential clients may (or may not) want to consider. I did not receive services from this company/law firm, so I would not recommend this company to a friend or colleague.

I first came to Gasner Law Office when I was just 23 years old. I was young, scared, and definitely didn't have a lot of money. Facing serious charges—Involuntary Manslaughter, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and Battery Causing Serious Injury—I knew that if I didn't find a great lawyer, I could be looking at years behind bars. That's when I found Adam and the Gasner Law team.
From the start, Adam was incredibly patient with me. He understood my fears and worked tirelessly to guide me through the process. Court dates were scheduled monthly for what felt like forever, but Adam was there for every single one. Whenever I felt scared or uncertain, I could always count on Adam to call me back, provide reassurance, and keep me calm.
Not only did Adam secure my release from jail while my case was ongoing, but he also never gave up on me—even though my case went on for 13 years. Adam’s commitment was unwavering, and his support extended beyond just legal counsel. He became like family. In fact, now my sons call him "Uncle Adam."

Our family was in a dire predicament with a rental property that had been mismanaged by a former PM. This property has been in our family since the 90s and has never been in such a state. I reached out to Marc and he immediately went to task to save us from nightmare tenants who we had been left with. He was super responsive, thorough (understatement) and detailed. He knows tenancy/landlord laws backwards and forwards. He really is the best, especially in a system that is positioned to only protect tenants, even when they’re completely in the wrong. I interviewed dozens of lawyers, and I hired one who was soothing but turned out to be incompetent. She was not only a waste of money, she left me hanging with a trial date that was approaching fast. I had to scramble and thank God Sean was willing to take my case. He does not sugar coat anything. He's extremely professional, organized, competent and honest. My divorce started with a different attorney. A firm I will not name here who honestly took a great deal of my money with very little oversight. I received a referral to Sean and I'm so glad I made the switch. You can't prepare for divorce so I was blind sided and hadn't done my research. I wish I had started my divorce with Sean as my attorney. He listed to me and was able to see my side and advocate what was best for me and my daughter. I will forever be thankful to him in remembering all the details of my case. We didn't have to rehash everything every time we met. Sean was so efficient every time we met and also very sincere. He made himself available and he always gave me both sides of an argument and he prepared me every step of the way. I settled my divorce and child custody case with my ex-husband and I feel that it was fair. I wasted so much money in the beginning by not using an attorney such as Sean. I am an attorney and am familiar with litigation. I retained an attorney to file a divorce proceeding, and that attorney did nothing but bill me for work that did not move the case forward. Fed up, I was referred to Sean Patrick Joyce. What a breath of fresh air. Mr. Joyce took immediate action, was a great communicator, and effectively utilized his terrific paralegal. I needed to consult with an attorney regarding a situation I was having with my work: I was returning to work after having been on disability leave for about five months. I was very concerned about my company’s inquiries and documentation requirements for my return to work because I had good reason to believe they were infringing on my right to privacy of my Protected Health Information as a currently disabled person and also that they were discriminating against me. It was so incredibly hard to find an attorney who was willing to take my case and consult with me. I called around for many hours with zero luck. And then I found Richard!! He was willing to help me and I was so relieved to finally have found someone who will be on my side. He had excellent suggestions and advice, and reminded me of the privacy and confidentiality I have with him via attorney-client privilege. I felt safe discussing very sensitive matters with him and he really went above and beyond in helping me. It was obvious to me that he is very knowledgeable about employment law. He presented multiple scenarios to me of how my situation might play out and that is why I felt more than prepared when I had to speak with HR again. I am happy to say I am back at work now with all HR and privacy matters having been resolved. If I ever need legal advice on a future employment situation, I know I will be calling Richard again.
