I was referred to Ms. Walsh by Fay Blix, Esq. as someone who could take care of the strange circumstances surrounding the sale of my co-op apt in a senior community. My co-signer and I are seniors. When my co-signer died unexpectedly during the sale, we were not able to locate papers he had written assigning to me all the proceeds of the sale since his interest in the co-op involved no money. He lived 400mi. away and the missing paperwork meant his “share” went to the probate of his estate to eventually be paid to me. I needed a lot of expert help to deal with all the complications which arose. The widow involved had no problem with assigning me the money, but the Calif. Probate had to be accomplished first. Ms Walsh was well-qualified to work with the widow’s atty to sort through the long process. She pro-rated all of our many, many emails and I was very pleased with her thorough knowledge and expertise with all aspects of this unusual case. It took over two years to finally get to the very successful conclusion and I am forever in her debt. I highly recommend her services! Since I had moved out-of-state, this all was handled by phone calls and emails. In fact, I have never met her, but she is a treasure!!

Cheryl is an outstanding attorney. After meeting with her for the first time, we knew we had the right attorney to take our case. After my mother passed, we discovered that her husband had filed a Quit Claim and moved the home into his name and into his trust. When he passed a month later, he passed the home to his brother. I was contacted by his attorney who wanted to get the house sold ASAP. We were able to delay the process until we found Cheryl who started the communication with the other attorney. Cheryl was amazing. She took control of the situation and handled the other attorney with strength. Cheryl knew the law and interpreted the trust according to the letter of the law. In the end, we won the case and the home is to be put back in the original trust.
Cheryl and her staff, Taylor, Robin and Maggie are just outstanding. I can’t say enough about them. If the need arises, I would not hesitate to use Cheryl again and I would certainly recommend her to anyone that is looking for and exceptional estate attorney.

You will not find a more dedicated, detailed, competent advocate for your cause.
I retained Scott in a dispute over the HOA permitting my neighbors' construction to impair my view and my privacy. Scott was wonderful to work with, in spite of the miserableness of being in litigation.
Scott listens to your issues and absorbs them thoroughly. He effectively balances your contentions in the case while navigating the pitfalls of the legal system. He is infinitely patient, repeating information I had forgotten, clarifying legal terms and procedures. He remembers every detail I told him, even when my head is spinning in anger or upset, or his head is spinning with other cases and deadlines.
His written briefs are succinct, well stated and effective. He was timely in every way, returning phone calls, submitting paperwork, contacting experts or opposing counsel, etc. And most importantly, his billing was more than fair, even generous.

My wife and I hired Scott to assist us when our condo's first floor was completely flooded by rain water during a big storm in 2017. Scott was highly instrumental in helping us to communicate, navigate, and expedite our way through the insurance company repair approval process, the condo reconstruction work with the HOA appointed General Contractor, and ultimately getting us reimbursed for all of our expenses and relocation costs due to the flood. Knowing that we had Scott (and Erika) on our team made a very, very stressful event more manageable and gave us a level of comfort we wouldn't have had otherwise. Scott's expertise, communication, advice and followup were all superior. The bottom line is that Scott and Erika definitely helped us to reach our desired resolution and outcome. I consulted Craig Walkon after talking to another attorney about a medical malpractice case I potentially had. The practice I talked to wasn't able to help me but highly recommended Mr. Walkon. Mr. Walkon listened to me with patience and he really cared about what I had been through not only physically but emotionally as well. He had me send him all of my records (which were a lot) and he took the time to go through them for free. Mr. He offered me solid legal advice and I was able to settle my case outside of a courthouse. It was his legal expertise that helped get me through my situation with out going from attorney to attorney. I didn't hire him as my attorney because he gave me such great advice I didn't need an attorney, yet he still answered my phone calls and let me ask him legal questions throughout my medical nightmare. He is very trustworthy and if I ever needed to consult an attorney again, I would go straight to Mr. Walkon.

What an experience it has been. I was rear-ended at high speed by a truck on the freeway. My car was smashed and both my wife and I were both hurt badly. Things only got worse when my own insurance company tried to delay my claim while they “investigated” what had happened.
I said enough is enough. I got out the phone book and found John Burns in the yellow pages. John Burns and his excellent staff got things moving right away. I was in a terrifying accident. I was hit by a car while crossing the street in a cross walk. I was knocked into the air, and my head actually hit the car before I was thrown to the pavement, I was badly hurt, with injuries including a broken collar bone, a concussion and numerous abrasions. Emergency Medical Services took me to the emergency room and I had to spend the night in the hospital. It was a painful injury and it took time to recover.
I knew that I needed someone with experience to handle my case. John P. Burns and his Orange County, CA team knew exactly what to do. They dealt with the insurance company to make sure that I received an outstanding settlement. They also worked with Medicare and saved me the trouble of having to deal with the federal government. Brad was the 6th and last lawyer I consulted with about my case. Every other lawyer I spoke to before Brad said that my case was going to be a difficult one and that they couldn't be of any help. I was starting to lose hope until I was recommended to Brad by another attorney who turned me down. To my surprise, Brad made me feel heard and did not minimize my case at all. He never made me feel like my case was impossible or too difficult to win. Brad was super patient, helpful, and most importantly, empathic throughout the entire journey. I'm happy I didn't give up in finding the right lawyer for my case because we ended up with a settlement. 10/10 I would recommend Brad. You will be lucky to work with him! He is the BEST :)

Brad helped us navigate a malpractice suit, and was able to get us to a great settlement. First you WON'T find a better attorney than Stephen M. Rios! He is well respected in his field. He is thorough and will get the job done with complete and utter satisfaction. I went through such a very nasty 5 year divorce, that it wasn't even fun or funny. On the brink of many nervous breakdowns throughout this process, Steve was nothing but professional and supportive. Steve explained things that he would was going to do to counter the complaints, false accusations, and led me through the process that I felt confident I was in good hands. When I was on the witness stand he made my case rock solid. He was always there for me and will be for you too. I've seen how other attorneys approached him. Like I said, he is well-respected in his field. I believe after watching him in action that other attorneys knew they had their work cut out for them. He knows the law and he is there to help his clients. Even today I can count on Steve for a bit of advice and he is always there to assist. I am blessed that I met Steve and that he will forever be in our lives (my daughter and I). Even at the age of 10 through 15 my daughter recognized too how valuable Steve was in helping her. I wanted to get a court appointed attorney for her since she wasn't being heard. She had a medical condition that her father was prohibiting her from getting her medication and it was destroying her ability to function and get a good education. Through Steve’s help we got a court appointed psychiatrist to evaluate her and make a decision that helped her in her life. When I first talked to Jeff about my case I had a lien on my house and a $150,000 default judgment that I had no Idea of until I was about to close escrow on my home.
