Attorney Barry Fayne is one of the greatest people that I know, and I am more than happy that he agreed to take my case. At the time that he decided to get involved, I had been through four attorneys who seemed reluctant to deal with the tumultuous issues on my case. Attorney Fayne’s involvement changed everything!
In my opinion, Attorney Fayne’s calling was to be a family law attorney. He gives the best advice based on his profound knowledge of the law. He is also considerate and respectful of your feelings and will listen with an open-mind to your input relative to the direction of the case. He is truly committed and dedicated to his profession. He has received and responded to my calls and/or emails of an urgent nature outside of ‘normal’ working hours and has been very personable. His presence in the courtroom on my case has been impactful.

We hired Barry on the recommendation of our attorney, who had a conflict and could not represent us for a specific hearing. Barry took us on as clients and immediately understood a very complex case and the seriousness of the issues of the hearing. He treated us like we were longstanding clients (even though we had just met) and listened to and responded to every one of our communication in a way that showed he is “all-in” for his clients when he takes a case. After observing him in action, I can confirm that he is highly skilled in arguing in front of a judge, has vast experience across multiple counties and knows multiple judges and courtrooms, and knows family law inside and out. While I’m happy with my current attorney (who also hired Barry, and hence recommended him when the conflict arose), I’d not hesitate to hire Barry again and recommend him to everyone I know. Once you work with the best, it’s hard to work with anyone else!!!

I had small estate probate questions that the court's website did not answer. I found it was too much information to untangle, especially during the grieving process. Andrew made it very simple, giving me step-by-step instructions what to do, where to send the forms and documents, what to expect, everything. I wish I would have called 6 months ago. Kreuza and her colleague Sufen are knowledgeable, sharp, dedicated and very responsive. When you deal with the government and immigration issues, you want to work with lawyers like Sufen and Kreuza, having a peace of mind even if it means paying a little more. They worked with me on my J-1 waiver application. Half way through the process, I found out that State Department had no status update on my case while other people applied the same time all had their cases reviewed. I panicked, called the Embassy that issued my NOS and also the US State Department. Neither government was willing to give me more information and pushed the responsibility to the other one. So I called Kreuza and Sufen. They were able to talk directly to the authority, get a clear picture of what happened, track down my case and get it reviewed right away. On top of that, they also helped me understand my H1B and green card situations and gave me helpful advice. They are also very fast in responding emails and phone calls. Overall, I’m glad that I hired Kreuza and Sufen as my immigration attorneys and recommend Hilf and Hilf to other people seeking similar services.

I hired Randy to handle a wrongful death case as he was referred to me. Best decision ever!! I was rear-ended by a cement truck and was left seriously injured. Ironically, I felt like I had hit a wall. No pun intended; but for my life, we lost just about everything. Attorney Melissa is truly a great advocate for her clients and has been a Godsend. From the time in met her the first time until now, she has been wonderful. Divorce is very hard and she was there every step of the way. She called back very fast when I had questions and concerns, even later in the evening apparently when she was still working.

My father suffered a medical condition in late summer, causing the living and financial situation of my parents to deteriorate quickly. I was in a motorcycle accident in Florida with my boyfriend that was driving the motorcycle. I lady pulled out in front of us from a side road. We were unable to stop and she hit us. I went over the front of her car and my boyfriend was thrown from the bike. I broke my right arm, I have a plate and ten screws in it and spent three days in the hospital. He broke his leg, ribs, and face & internal injuries, he has double vision in his eye that will never get better. He had two surgeries on his leg and has a rod in it. He spent three weeks in the hospital. I called Mr. Buckfire's office and he started the paper work before we even left the hospital. We had Mr. George Burke as our lawyer and he was great. If we had any questions we could call him and he would help us right away we never had to wait. Our claim was settled in a timely fashion. I would highly recommend him.

Kerry Spencer is a true professional. My previous council lost my case and immediately dropped me as a client. Kerry took the time to COMPLETELY hear me out about the details of my case. I had other Attorney's tell me my case was not "financially responsible" to attempt. Apparently, not for Attorney Spencer who WON the case! The whole time the firm had great communication on what they needed me to do and they kept me informed on what they were doing. Kerry is also very patient. I'm a Disabled Veteran with many painful injuries which have a huge impact on my mood, more often than not. Kerry was cool, calm, and collected when addressing me, even when I was not. In 20/20 hindsight, I would have hired her from the beginning because Social Security is all she does. Deanna Bundy is an outstanding Bankruptcy Attorney. We handled the entire process via eMail (never met face-to-face). She sent me an information packet that contained everything I needed to do -- including credit training, documents required, and the whole process. She was there for me by telephone at every step of the way. If I got her voicemail, she called me back within 2-hours -- WoW! After the initial hearing with the Bankruptcy Trustee, the Trustee had a few questions (normal), and we handled those expeditiously. She sent me the final discharge notice the DAY she received it. The whole process start-to-finish took 4-months -- exactly 117-days. Anyone who tells you they can do it faster than that probably does not know what they are talking about.

My wife and were leisurely riding our motorcycle with my brother and sister in-law on their bike. I was injured in a car accident caused by an uninsured driver. While sitting at a red light, waiting to turn left, the driver wasn't paying any attention and plowed into the rearend of my car. It was a severe accident, totalling my vehicle and leaving me unconscious. When I came-to, I was being attended to by emergency medical providers and the police were there. I had no recollection of what happened. I was confused about what was going on and people were asking me questions that I could answer. Let me tell you, when that happens to you, the anxiety and worry starts immediately. I was in intense pain from my neck and shoulder for many months and my medical bills were adding up. I could not work for quite awhile, but as a self-employed person I had to figure out how to get my work done. Compounding all of this was the fact that the other driver had no insurance. I call Jason Waechter, whom a friend of mine said was the guy to talk to about car accidents and uninsured drivers. I'm glad I did, because my own insurance company was doing everything they could to get out of paying. You would be shocked at the lengths insurance companies will go to in order to stick it to you when you need them. Jason wouldn't let that happen. In Michigan, when you're in a car accident and the other driver doesn't have insurance, you have to go to your own insurance company for compensation. It's how Michigan no-fault works (make sure you are properly covered in case of uninsured motorist accident). My own aut insurance company did not want to pay anything but the absolute minimum they could get away with, forcing us to bring a lawsuit against them. Believe me, you want Jason on your side if you ever have to do a lawsuit against your insurance company. While they made ridiculously low offers, Jason was putting together a real case. He tried to settle with them several times, but they continued to balk. When we went in for our pretrial conference, and he discussed his case with them, the insurance company lawyers all of a sudden changed their minds. Jason held them to the grindstone, he came out with a settlement that was tens of thousands of dollars more than his previous offers of settlement. I was very pleased with his methodical work, his communications, and his ability to reason with the parties involved. I even more pleased that he was able to get me the compensation I needed.
