The reviews don’t lie. Mark is the best criminal defense lawyer in Connecticut. Everyone knows him and I had friends who have used him over the past 15 years. I was wrongfully accused by police and had to deal with the Stamford court. As soon as mark walked in, it was clear he was connected and everyone respected him and his team. He has both finesse and ferocity. He was also great with my family during a very stressful case. He and his partner Amanda Telesco took the time to understand the details of my case and fought hard for me. So hard that my entire case was DISMISSED and EXPUNGED.
So worth the money. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney, and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of expert legal assistance. So glad I hired him. Highly recommend!

I found Mark on google. I contacted Mark late one afternoon and he spoke to me right away. Mark helped me with an issue with the Darien Police dept. Once Mark was involved, all I can say is WOW. I have never seen a cop shake in her body armor in a police station, and he streamed lined the issue very quickly. I thought the cost of his retainer was very reasonable. I would highly recommend Mark to anyone, he was a god send.

We first contacted Peter when we started our medical malpractice journey almost five years ago shortly after the surgery accident happened. He and his paralegal assistant Kim expertly guided us through the long judicial process , handling not only the complex legal issues but all of the roller-coaster emotional ones as well. It became quite evident that we made a great lawyer choice when we witnessed all of the other lawyers during depositions. Peter was clearly head and shoulders above the rest - he was always well prepared, having completely researched all of the medical procedures and surgical tool nuances so that he knew exactly what questions to ask the witnesses. He always remained calm, courteous and professional when questioning them, and left no stone unturned. When we became frustrated with the slow process, which dragged on for years (partly due to being in the midst of Covid), he always listened patiently to our concerns, responded in a way we understood, and never pressured us one way or the other - decisions were always, in the end, left up to us (although he clearly gave us his own recommendations). He and Kim were "our team", and we knew we could always contact them if we had questions or issues. We are relieved that this chapter is behind us, and would certainly recommend Peter to anyone needing this type of assistance.

Before I worked with Steve, I was informed the process of my case may take months on end. After consulting with and hiring Steve we were able to receive a no contest and win the case in about a month. I was super impressed with his effectiveness and diligence. FINRA is tough to deal with no matter how you spin it, but Steve was able to be in contact with them on a frequent basis. I was beyond happy with how Steve worked the case and was equally as happy with the result.

Mr. Seeger was recommended to me by a friend a work, and I must say he was excellent and helping me straighten out my automotive/ driving permit legal issues.
I was facing what I considered to be a serious reckless charge though not a DWI. Not a serious charge but nonetheless, through his advice and counsel, I was able to rectify my issues and allowed me to retain my permit and keep working without having to turn to public transport.

I called Chas Abate late in the process in a deed-in-lieu where I was getting the run around from the mortgage company. What took me a year to get to a stale mate he quickly brought this to a final resolution. Not many attorneys would get involved this late in the process but he not only did but went to court the next day. Many thanks to Chas and I sleep much better at night thanks to him. I would highly recommend him and it was money well spent. I even received a refund for the money the mortgage company took from my account incorrectly 2 years prior that started the whole mess in the first place. His final invoice was detailed and extremely fair. If I had to do this all over again he would be the first person I would call. We utilized Mr. Burdett over the course of 4 years after having had a bad experience with another lawyer. He is well versed in the law but is also well respected by his peers and the judges, putting him in a position to negotiate or take a stand as needed. He is very effective at litigating and retains details as needed to react on his feet to counter arguments. That being said, he does not waste time or money on frivolous motions and billing. He tries to find the most effective way to solve the problem at hand and works at it efficiently. I highly recommend him, especially in cases that involve children and that may be more complex.
