My daughter was diagnosed with selective mutism while attending public school, where the principal, teachers and staff members never heard of such a disorder. For a long time the school district was not responding to my requests or my child's special needs. I began to get extremely frustrated with the school's inability to help my child to be successful in her education. I felt as if my daughter was drowning in the public school system, where they just simply didn't have a clue on how to help her.
Attorney Bonnie Schinagle recently represented my family against our school district. She could not have been better prepared to argue our case. The case ended with a very good outcome. I could not have had a better attorney for my divorce case. He wasn’t my first attorney for the divorce . Many times things were falling apart with my original council, who had poor ethics and bled so much of my finances running me in the ground with little done. This is when I and hired mr shumer who took the challenge when my case was a mess. He quickly pulled everything together and tied up every loose string in record timing. My only regret is not finding him first! He was recommended by a friend of mine, who also spoke very high of him. There is much more I can go on to explain what a god send he was for me, and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for him. He was always honest, put me at ease with his guidance , updated me promptly with any developments, and truely seemed to care. And was very generous with his billing which was another plus ! Haha. David handled our bankruptcy, achieving the best outcome imaginable for an otherwise miserable situation. He clearly answered our questions, even proposed ideas that we hadn't thought of, which greatly benefited us in the end. He was straightforward and honest - no phony 'sympathy,' etc. Even the one time he chastised us (for showing up late to a hearing), he was obviously distraught because he didn't want US to suffer the consequences, i.e., the delay in resolution of our case. He truly took our case personally, which was really a bonus, compared to all the other things he did right (being on-time with all filings and appearances, drafting professional documentation, etc.), which should just be expected.
Based on our experience, I feel confident highly recommending David for any legal work, not just bankruptcy.

I was recommended to contact her through Nassau County Bar Association and its worth consultation. She pulled up the case online as we continued our conversation, and had directed to the right direction. Unlike other litigation attorneys who usually will picture the case as they are the only choice going forward, she consulted and advised without looking for personal gain.
