Dilip Paliath took my grandson case in the Fall of 2015. Mr. Paliath had to drive three hours to attend the court session beginning at 9:00 am. My grandson met with Mr. Paliath before court began. Mr. Paliath ask personal questions and discussed different roles of court persons. My grandson did not understand the concepts of court and Mr. Paliath expressed this concern to the judge. It was determined by the judge that my grandson needed training about court. Mr. Paliath had to return during the winter twice and the case was not settled until June 2016. Through all of this Mr. Paliath kept in contact about each and every court corespondence. Mr. Paliath is both kind and a complete professional. I will call him again!!

I hired Doug as my lawyer in 2016 when I was in a hit-and-run car accident as a passenger. I came to him because I wanted to focus on healing and the insurances were already throwing numbers at me and other issues. Having him as a lawyer allowed me to focus on myself. Doug was available throughout the process and handled anything I need. Roger Weinberg is not only a compassionate person, he is a highly competent and effective lawyer. We worked with Roger for two years in our case regarding our mother's unfortunate neglect at an assisted living facility. He helped all of us (five children living in various states) stay focused and informed during the course of the lawsuit which eventually led to a trial. I was working on merely getting an expert opinion from a lawyer with regards to a tax exempt status application I was working on so I made a couple of calls one fine day in September. Charles Dillon Esq was one of the lawyers I called. He got back to me later that day and after explaining what I was after he cut to the chase and told me that "an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure". He then promised to take a look at my case and go from there if I was interested in getting the work done right. I went to see him in his office and since then I have been amazed at his humility, professionalism, attention to detail, sense of humor among other qualities. He is also willing to work with your budget, though the quality of his work is such that he can charge any sum he wants. I am a happy customer with the work he did on my foundation.
I highly recommend him and I intend to work with him on other projects in the not too distant future.

My SSDI case was quite a unique one. My entire case was conducted during the COVID pandemic, entailing that I never personally met any of the lawyers or staff. All proceedings & communications were conducted over the phone, via email or through the US mail; including 3 hearings with the ALJ judge and numerous conversations with SSA.
Upon being retained by Gordon, Wolf & Carney, CHTD; they began a meticulous and comprehensive fight for my disability case. Their experience and knowledge in SSDI was really exhibited during my hearings. They were very professional and well-prepared. I was extremely impressed with their communication skills and patience in the handling of my case. As a result of the excellent legal advice, guidance, empathy and compassion I received from Kimberly Battaglia and her paralegal, Ricky, I was able to obtain the 24/7 nursing care my mother was in desperate need of within a few short months. This may sound "routine" but it certainly is not. Our family of numerous siblings had tried and failed for four years to provide needed care for Mom at home while trying to cut through the legal, financial & government red tape of Medicare & Medicaid on our own. With Ms. Battaglia's assistance I was able to successfully apply for Long Term Care Medical Assistance for my father back in February 2011. I was also able to allocate my father's income to my mother, which was truly the best part of the plan Ms. Battaglia laid out for me. Now my father is being taken care of at the care facility and my mother can still maintain her lifestyle at home. We also worked with a paralegal who helped coordinate the information Ms. Battaglia needed to process the application for benefits. They worked together as a team, which helped to keep the costs down. The entire process went very smoothly and the cost for all of the legal services were less than one month of paying the facility privately!

Prior to my case Mr. Berg managed to arrange the change of custody from a mother to a father of two daughters. In my case the custody of a son was changed from a mother to a father. In order to accomplish this Mr. Berg needed to have an understanding of every nuance of custody law and the ability to present a case in the same way that a salesman sells a product. Mr. Berg is a consummate player at both levels. At my request my former wife was not to be trashed in front of our son; we made the concession that she was an adequate and competent parent but that circumstances dictated that a change of custody would be in the best interest of the child. The circumstances that we argued against included that the mother was intending to leave the country permanently, that the living circumstances in her new home would provide no male authority figures, that the school calender would provide only about three weeks per year that the child could visit with his father, and that the mother would begin the move being unemployed. The alternative that was argued for was a father that had remarried and a family that the child already spent nearly half his time with each week and a step mother who was a clear asset to a good and secure home, with an American school calender which would provide about 11 weeks of visitation each year.

My attorney, Debra Cruz, saved me & my son's emotional and physical well being- literally. My life was completely torn apart at the beginning of my separation. There was absolutely no light at the end of my tunnel. Debra's education, expertise, & emotional support saved me from losing my son. She walked my family and I through each & every step- always guiding and supporting me. She never failed me- not even once. The court proceedings got extremely confusing & technical for me to handle. A lot of divorcees choose to attempt to "go at it" alone- under no circumstance do I recommend that.

When I left my husband and made it clear I didn't feel safe around him anymore, he left work early and showed up at my daughter's house before I got there. She let me know and I was able to wait until he got tired and left peacefully before going there, but it was terrifying. My daughter convinced me to file for a protective order after hours that night (Monday), but I was so flustered I know I didn't do a good job of filling out the paperwork. I went to the first hearing (wednesday) by myself, and the judge sounded like I didn't have cause to be granted the permanent decree, he said I would get one for a week and would have the final hearing next week where my husband could be there.
I had Mary recommended to me, and even though I hadn't decided if I needed a divorce or if we could still save the marriage, I reached out for help with the protective order. Mary was SO helpful! She explained the process to me, helped me figure out what parts of our relationship would be useful to mention for the protective order, talked me through what my options were for planning a divorce, and was just really responsive. It took several weeks for my husband to be served by the police, and she was able to get me a waiver of appearance so I didn't have to appear every week. Mary talked to my daughter and prepared her to give testimony of how my husband was when he showed up unexpectedly in case he decided to contest the order. When he was finally served a few weeks later, it was on Tuesday afternoon that we found out that we would need to be there Wednesday morning. Mary even wrote an email to my daughter's supervisor at work explaining the situation and offering to get a subpoena if necessary for her not to get in trouble for taking time off to go with me! She was at the courthouse before us, talking to my husband, and told us to go ahead into the courtroom so we wouldn't have to interact with him. He was agitated, so much so that after the judge ruled he called her up to see what was going on, but she still managed to get him to agree to everything, I got to keep using my car, kept my dog, and he wasn't allowed to bother me for a year, which will give me the time to establish separation for the divorce. I highly recommend talking to Mary, especially if you need help with separation and haven't decided if you need to move forward with a divorce or want to try counseling. I was worried that a divorce attorney would be expecting me to move forward with a divorce and be pushing me to do so, but Mary was perfect, she listened to all of my concerns and even made sure while she was talking to him to check if my husband would consider getting therapy to work on our relationship, but he shut that down as always. Mary even took time out of her day to sit with me to make sure I was safe and my husband left after the hearing, because I was waiting on my ride home. I can't recommend her enough!

I can tell you I was extremely worried about my case, but knowing that I had Craig Ward for a lawyer truly made a huge difference. He developed a plan for me to follow, called me to keep me informed about what he thought and I fully trusted him and listened to everything he instructed me to do.
