James Knox took the time out of his busy day twice to speak with me about two cases, free of charge. After getting 2 letters from the JC, I was on the verge of a meltdown. Mr. Knox spoke with me about what to expect and how I could prepare myself for an investigation subsequent OP license issues if the cases were substantiated. He is definitely a friend of healthcare workers and I highly recommend contacting him if a fellow nurse has a JC case open.

I recently needed to hire an attorney for a sensitive matter. I sent emails to numerous attorneys and Art Frost replied to me and provided me immediately with guidance and best case scenarios. He was also realistic and gave me the worst case scenario as well. Art met with me in person and spent time with me discussing the case and the circumstances. My wife and I recently needed to get our last will and testaments done. We reached out to Pattison, Sampson, Ginsberg & Griffin PLLC for help and were fortunate to work with Attorney Thomas Lavery. He helped us navigate various options on how to handle items of our estate. My wife and I learned a lot about the complexities, particularly with having a mixed family (children from previous marriages), and how to make sure each of our children would be treated fairly. We were looking for a lawyer that specialized in working with LGBTQ clients and learned about Ms. Thomas on the National Center for Transgender Equality website. Ms. Thomas was the only attorney listed in Upstate NY that specialized in representing clients with the legal process for name and gender change. We were fortunate that Ms. Thomas was in the Capital District. She was prompt with email and phone correspondence and the judge received the paperwork and signed the documents quickly. We would highly recommend working with Ms. Thomas for name and gender change legal representation.

I have been in family court fighting for joint custody of my 2 small children for almost 3 years now. Kevin has been nothing less than amazing. He worked so hard on my case. Kevin read through my entire case and then we sat down to discuss it. He kept me informed of everything going on and stayed on top of every detail. He called me when he said he was going to call me and insisted on a re rewrite of my court order when it came back to him incomplete and not covering everything we agreed on in court.

Matthew expertly (he obviously did this many times, and that was more than a year ago) alleviated my fears that I might lose my unemployment benefits and thoroughly explained to me what "chain of custody" means.
