If you are in need of consistently aggressive, calculated and very professional advocacy, Wallin and Klarich is the law firm that you should go to. I understand, it is terrifying to be in a situation wherein you are accused specially if you have not have not had experience with the legal system before, so looking for strong lawyers will be your best defense.
Our story with Wallin and Klarich started when we had a serious accusation thrown at a family member. I called them on a Saturday evening, left a message; I immediately got a call from Jonathan Lynn, one of their senior lawyers who made an appointment with us even on a Sunday. He then referred us to one of the partners of the firm, Matthew Wallin, and after our first meeting, we knew that we were starting off on the right path in having this firm at our side.
Matt was always there for us. I know he is a top rated lawyer who handles a lot of cases, but he never made us feel that our case was any less serious or less important. He was always prompt, detailed, pro-active and he was always respectful. Contrary to what a few negative reviewers post here, this firm never made us feel that our case was about money first. I actually had to ask them several times to review the retainer since I really felt that they were spending so much time on our case vs. what we were paying for. Matt is a very strong advocate and he really cares about his clients. He acted as a confidant, coach, lawyer, mentor during our darkest and most trying times. Like I always said to him, his advocacy is much more than whatever money we can pay for. His service, his care, his diligence is unsurpassed. I was pulled over for doing donuts in an empty dirt lot, and the police officer told me I would get something in the mail. Almost a year later, I got a court summons telling me I was to be charged with misdemeanor reckless driving and vandalism. Adding insult to injury, the DA’s office made me court date AFTER I had moved out of state for school! After consulting with and retaining Matt Wallin, I could not be happier with the outcome. He represented me and kept me updated with all relevant info, and was very professional. Mr. Wallin eventually got both charges dropped and the case dismissed. Considering I could have been facing jail time, a nasty fine and a license suspension, this could not have gone any better for me. A big thank you to Mr. Matt Wallin and the entire team!

Even among the hundreds of experienced and talented attorneys I know, Sheila stands out as one of the best. A few months back I turned to Sheila for a very important legal matter I was facing, and needless to say, she delivered! It was striking how she was immediately able to triage the legal issue I was facing, predict what I would encounter next, and provided proactive steps to protect my business. It’s a family curse. In my family, we desire to keep the peace at any cost and come up with all kinds of excuses for not standing up for our rights. The trend ended couple of months ago when I felt cheated and refused to turn the other cheek. I contacted Attorney Sheila M. Witt.
I had heard about her busy schedule, and was surprised when she responded quickly to hear about my needs. In our first phone conversation she accepted to take on the case, making sure I understood the scope and parameters of our agreement. I knew exactly where I stood.
I was pleasantly surprised with her ability to separate facts from feelings, and stand firm in her resolve. Without question, Ilian is my hero. I am a widow and my case was unusual. My husband and I owned a vacation home located in the Idyllwild area. When he passed, it became necessary for me to sell the house. Two real estate agents persuaded me into acting as the bank for a 'buyer' they both vouched for. He did not obtain a bank loan. In the four years he lived in the home, his payments were consistently late (for the last one and one-half years no payments were made); he NEVER paid any of the real estate taxes, home owner's dues and fire insurance fees. Because the home was technically in his name and I was not a bank, this became a very challenging case for Ilian. He encountered many road blocks yet always found resources to get over the hurtles. Did I mention that the 'buyer' thought he was smarter than anyone in the room, was a persuasive talker (con-man), and a pervasive liar. I came very close to actually losing my house to this man which would have severely damaged my financial health. Due to Ilian's knowledge, thoroughness, attention to detail and immense patience, the house successfully sold. He routinely sent me a monthly detailed account of his activities, hours spent and cost. He was always fair and accurate. Absolutely worth every penny! I highly recommend Ilian Alchehayed.

Under Covide I received a Frivolous ADA WCAG website compliance lawsuit by the Frivolous "Handy Potter" Law firm who is not liked by the courts in San Francisco as their firm is an unprofessional legal milling practice & their fraudster client The plaintiff, "Un-Blinded" Andres Gomez. Of course my business was at a peril at that point in time, although Attorney Scott Karlin and his professional team, with Melissa and Dan were to the rescue. The lawsuit hit at the worse time in my family and my life as our business was struggling business. The level of service that Scott and his team brought was assuring. They even captured video surveillance of The Un-Blinded Andres Gomez walking around without any assistance discovering factually that Andres Gomez was not blind at all and consistently lied to the courts under oath. Andres Gomez and the Handy Potter has caused much harm to families and local small businesses and now, The Karlin group has brought much relief and stopped those carpet baggers from terrorising businesses using the false premises of being blind and using the ADA laws illegally. Robby Robinson is a very capable, stand-up attorney. He represented me in a long, contentious employee arbitration suit, in which we prevailed. He was thorough, diligent in his research, patient, calm in his demeanor but steadfast in his determination to win the case. After having a legal matter pending for 8 years , having tried out 2 pricey attorneys before Douglas , I had lost faith that i would be able to get my matter resolved. I was an international student at the time i was charged with 2 counts of felony and due to unfortunate circumstances had to leave the country before being able to resolve my case.
My co-defendant introduced me to Douglas who never gave me any unreal expectations and gave it to me as real as possible , my previous attorney that I had retained from overseas wasnt even able to get hearing date saying “its a catch 22 you need to be here” . Not only was Douglas able to get the ball rolling he was able to contact the people who pressed charges , come up with a deal , and get the charges dismissed completely.
Till this day I remember i was in utter disbelief when i got the short and to the point email saying “Good news your case has been dismissed” . 8 years worth of emotional and financial stress had come to an end only thanks to Douglas .

Being a 45 year old man, that has been through a rough divorce, as well as other legal challenges with respect to breach of contract and landlord-tenant laws, I have had to hire quite a few different attorneys over the years. Some did their jobs partially, others failed to satisfy at all. I am happy to say that Mr. Cabrera will be my attorney for life. He is so dedicated and passionate, and truly will fight for his clients with all he has. This man has heart, and is extremely intelligent. As a bonus, he is incredibly affordable and will work with you as needed on a case by case basis. He is truly a gem. In my situation, we were up against a greedy, unscrupulous landlord that refused to let us out of our lease from our non-smoking residence after they allowed a smoking tenant to occupy the adjacent property just months after my family moved in. We were being sued for almost $10,000 because we had to leave our lease early due to health issues exacerbated by the smoke. Not only did Mr. Cabrera win our case for us, but also got us almost $5000 payment in damages we received. We were so elated and couldn't believe that not only did we not owe anything, but received all of that money on top of it. Mr. Cabrera is truly the best attorney I have ever worked with. I write this letter of deep appreciation and high recommendation for Marlin Stapleton, Jr.! Not only is Marlin an outstanding criminal defense attorney, but he is also well-respected and admired in the Orange County courts, has a larger-than-life personality, and has an unusually big heart!
My son is intellectually disabled. As a result of his disability, and the medication he was prescribed, my son got into very serious legal trouble where he could have been put in jail for many years. My son was extremely terrified of going to jail, a place where he clearly didn’t belong and where he would have been targeted and severely abused because of his disability.
Marlin has experience with intellectually disabled clients. Marlin has a rare understanding that intellectually disabled persons think and understand differently than what the law and the courts are normally set up to handle.
Thankfully, Marlin took my son’s case. Marlin was very clear to us and our son about the difficulty of the situation and how we should deal with it. With Marlin’s big heart, he developed a kind and friendly relationship to our son. Although the legal process took a while, by working with the judge and the DA, Marlin was able to arrange a satisfactory solution that kept our son out of jail.
As a result, our son is in a much better place today. He has substantially improved in his outlook and behavior, is on better medications, and has successfully worked through many of his issues. He now has a part-time job, is mentally healthy, and has had no recurring offenses. Without Marlin’s incredible legal skills and big heart, I believe our son would not have survived.
We owe a great deal of gratitude to Marlin for his excellent work in support of our son.

I am thankful and grateful to Mr. Stapleton for representing my special needs adult son who was put on a restraining order by the courts and subject to criminal prosecution and/or placement in an institution. Although, we believed the case had no merits, we were faced with a seemingly insurmountable task of not knowing how to maneuver through the court system and found ourselves seemingly at the mercy of the courts. We considered ourselves more as a bystander without the ability to advocate for our adult child with a permanent disability. Fear began to set in as we thought we might have to accept the outcome of the behind the scenes negotiations between the district attorney, the public defendant, and the judges.
Mr. Stapleton stepped in to represent our son at a critical and stressful time. Through his knowledge, adept negotiating skills and actions, the entire case took a different direction very quickly. Our hopes were uplifted as we saw progress in a different and positive direction. His knowledge of the laws, ability to maneuver through the court system and negotiations with the DA's made a profound difference in the outcome. Today all the charges against our disabled son have been dismissed.
Mr. Stapleton was a Godsend. He is a compassionate, highly skilled and respected attorney who went out of his way to take on a personal interest in representing our son. Sitting in the courts with our son, it seemed like everyone in the courts and every attorney knows him. Marlin Stapleton Jr. is a great attorney and one of the finest people I have ever met. The first lawyer we hired was not able to negotiate any favorable results for my son. My son was charged with four felonies (DUI and hit and run) and was facing 4 to 5 years in prison. We were facing a situation that appeared completely hopeless and impossible to overcome. We were desperate and sought the services of one of the best high profile attorneys we could find. He was booked full and said the only attorney he recommended for our case was Marlin Stapleton Jr. He said Marlin is highly regarded by fellow attorneys, DA’s, and judges alike. He sure was right about that. During the years Marlin handled our case, we also found out how well known and respected Marlin was with outside agencies as well.
The combination of his professionalism, demeanor, and personality gave us hope during that stressful time for our family. We were confident with Marlin and thankful we had found the best attorney there was. Marlin created an action plan that went above and beyond anything we ever expected. I found Mr. Blevins to be an excellent business attorney providing both sound advice and great strategies. Mr. Blevins was initially retained to review a contract that I was about to get involved. He was able to point out some deficits in the contract which were then changed (I probably would not have caught them, maybe). It has proven to be a good choice to have him review our documents. Since the initial contact with Mr. Blevins, he has been retained as our corporate council. Now most all documents are run by him. We have found Mr. Blevins to be extremely attentive, trustworthy and reasonable with his time and charges. Mr. Blevins has my utmost confidence and I would recommend him to you. Steven guided me through our chapter 13 bankruptcy process with great dedication, knowledge and intuitive advice. He followed up with the chapter 13 trustee before our first hearing and decided that my daughters student loans ( my parent Plus loans) could be contained within our case debt limit, even though we exceeded that debt limit. Theses loans are suspended in payments but do accumulate interest. He advised us to take the trustee's offer for our n monthly payment which was higher then he initially computed, but quite fair. He helped us understand the process of getting our second mortgage striped and removed from secured to unsecured status saving us over 200,000 in payments. He has followed up and given advice since the beginning of the chapter 13 process which takes 5 years.

We were lucky to find Deanna Stone and Aaron Morris of Morris and Stone Law Firm!
I was being named in an Anti-Slapp case by Senator Catherine Blakespear. Morris and Stone jumped in, wrote the Judge a very well thought out and detailed statement with supporting evidence from previous Supreme Court cases demonstrating that I should not be named in the Anti-SLAPP.
In the end the judge agreed with Morris & Stone's statement in its "Entirety". It was obvious the judge was impressed with Morris and Stone's defense.
If I ever have any legal issues in the future I will certainly contact Aaron Morris and Deanna Stone. If you're reading this review I recommend you call them as well, they give a great consultation are extremely knowledgeable and fair.

Deanna is very professional and willing to help. I called for a free consultation and was surprised that my question was answered so thoroughly that I was able to proceed without a lawyer. Deanna answered all of my questions and at no time did I feel she was waiting for me to hire her. She was genuinely interested in my problem and spent about 45 minutes talking to me and even told me to call her back if I had any other questions. Her advice was spot on and did not cost me a dime.
