We absolutely recommend Kristian!! We can’t recommend him enough to anyone looking for an attorney in IL & WI! If we could give him 10 stars we would! Last summer we unfortunately needed an attorney for something that was an accident turned into an arrest, traffic violations of which 2 were criminal offenses. What should’ve been something quick turned into a long dragged out process, but Kristian saw us through this even when trial got a bit more complicated he was ready and fought hard! Praise God Truth and justice prevailed in this case!!! Kristian is an excellent, hard working, competent, and super motivated attorney that will help with a simple petty offense to a criminal case. A close relative of mine was in need of an attorney to represent him in a criminal case. Kristian was recommended to us by another attorney who did not have the bandwidth to take our case. Kristian was excellent from the very first meeting until the not-guilty verdict was read. Kristian listened, he took the time necessary to explain everything to us, he included us in decisions and welcomed our input and recommendations, and he did not roll over to pressure from the prosecution - not leading up to trial and definitely not during the trial. His rates are in line with other attorneys we spoke to, but it was super helpful that Kristian did not require full payment up front. I hope to never need a criminal attorney again, but if I do, Kristian and his co-council TJ will be my first call.

Many years ago I found myself divorced and single mother. Although I really tried to make ends meet, I just keep falling behind with my bills. Before going to Robert J. Adams I I consulted with two other attorneys that I saw on TV regarding bankruptcy. As soon as I got in the door, they wanted to talk about fees and not my problems, I felt like I was being interrogated and they treated me like I did something wrong. At that time I was working two jobs and had two small children to look after and between rent, household bills and daycare I had no money to pay old credit cards and medical bills. I found Robert through a close friend of mine. It was like I struck gold, as Robert is not on TV. After consulting with Robert for one minute, I knew that he was the right attorney for me and my family. His staff was so welcoming, Robert’s experience and knowledge provided me with a level of comfort that the other attorneys did not. When my case got complicated and the credit card company filed an adversary, Robert took them to trial, and after 2 days, he won the case. That was over 12 years ago. I was charged with "DRIVING ON A REVOKED LICENSE". For the first time ever in my life, I was facing FELONY charges. Was worried beyond belief. Was I going really going to jail? What about my job? My bills? My family? According to the law I was facing up to several years in jail and hefty fines. Not to mention worst of all--a FELONY CONVICTION. Not good.
Paul was assigned to my case through the Larry Davis Law Group. Simply put: HE'S EXCELLENT. I've never had, witnessed, or felt what it's like to have a REAL lawyer represent me.
Long story short, my case was reduced to a misdemeanor with no jail time and minimal reporting duties to the probation department.
I was blown away. This man is a pro's pro. He's completely competent and knows how to defend his clients. He has a counter move for everything that can be thrown at you in court from the prosecution. Paul was very helpful in navigating us through our 17 year old sons speeding ticket. Our son communicated with him directly to take ownership of the issue and was responsible for paying Paul's fee. Paul made the court appearance brief and to the point. Paul knew the system well and made our son's consequences less than what they would have been without him. I was in an extremely bad situation, I had been arrested for Criminal destruction to property. I was facing a possible felony and I had at least 5 counts against me. I couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, cried everyday from the guilt and from how bad things could've gotten. I received a traffic violation on I-94 in the mess of the construction if you can believe that nonsense. The cop gave me a 20 mph over the speed limit with 6 points. Richard got the points reduced to zero with a light fine. He accomplished the job 3 weeks in advance of the court date with me not having to step foot anywhere near a courthouse. 100% justifiable spend for his services! I will definitely use him again, hopefully not too soon.

There really is no words to explain what an exceptional lawyer Dan is. Little history on my story/experience with Dan; I was dealing with a case with a different lawyer that did an awful job. I then came into probation violation and it was a very complicated case where I had technically 4 violations. A warrant was set out for me. I was allowed to move to another state for school and the court was going to take me back to Illinois. It seemed truly like a case that NO WAY I could win. But then Dan did his thing. Dan not only was able to SQUASH my no bond warrant, he was able to let me stay in the state I reside in currently AND got me off of probation and under supervision instead! I have no clue how he was able to do so much but he made it work. And having dealt with a bad lawyer I really know the difference between a good and bad one. When we deal with court it’s scary. You want a lawyer that will respond fast, give their all to defend you and try to get the best outcome possible, and one that gives you RESPECT. Dan did all of these things and I can’t thank him enough. If I had to return to Illinois I would have lost my school, apartment, job and I would most likely have been living out of a car and really losing all the goods I have in my life out here in the state I reside in. "Dan is the BEST of the BEST". He got us the BEST POSSIBLE Outcome. Working with Dan was awesome. Without going into specifics, I would like to say just one sentence. "Dan is the BEST of the BEST". Do not take my word on this internet, just go and meet him once and you will see for yourself. Dan knows everyone in the system. He is very easy to talk to. I have interviewed a dozen attorneys before meeting Dan. Immediately decided to go with Dan. Steve is super awesome. During the initial parts, Steve took care of me (when Dan had to attend other things). I cant write my specific topic and details due to privacy concerns but I just want to describe how I found Dan. I do not feel like I can write a review that truly describes how worthy David Weinstein truly is. I retained Dave for the first time 8 years ago and I have worked with him several times since then. I wouldn’t recommend any other attorney for the Lake and Cook county area. Hiring an attorney is never going to be cheap but his prices are reasonable... but it’s his work inside and outside of the courtroom that truly makes him the best bang for your buck. He's good, tough, professional and knows the law and the practice of law. I have hired him for several fields of law, and I have recommended him many times, and no one has been let down by his performance.
Dave’s approach to customer service is fantastic. He is responsive unlike many attorneys. He may not tell you what you want to hear, but he will tell you what you NEED to hear. He prepares you for whatever is to come. He was extremely helpful when he outright told me how I need to appear in court, examples- attire, attitude and how to speak to a judge. Always keep in mind that an attorney is not a therapist, many people seem to think an attorney is going to take all of the calls about personal issues that do not directly relate to their case... which is an unreasonable request for an attorney. I may have pushed his patience in this category a time or two.
In the courtroom he remains cool, collected and sharp witted. I was amazed by how resourceful and sedulous he is. I have the utmost respect for the fact that he won’t take on work he doesn’t believe will benefit the client, meaning he won’t have you pay for a service that he cannot accomplish. Overall, I could never ask for more in an attorney!

I first would like to say that I unfortunately have been in Lake County courts for many years of my life. Fighting different felony cases. I have pretty much dealt first hand with a lot of the most respected felony lawyers in the area. Not to take anything away from this websites top rated but David should be much higher rated.
I know personally two separate murder cases that he has won in the same year with two completely different cases. I was refered to David by one of these men. I had him represent a family member in a felony drug case. David was able to secure misdemeanor probation for my family member. Which is a win because my family member was looking at 4-15 years. I ended up in a similar situation and hired David. I was facing a class X felony (6-30 years) David was able to secure me probation also. His price was fair and I am very happy to have had him represent me . If you see this ,Thanks Dave

I should have done this a long time ago, but it's never too late to give a compliment or a long overdue good review. I was on this site giving a review to another (excellent) lawyer for a real estate matter, so it's time to say what a great job Dan did in
helping me when I unfortunately had a DUI arrest, and had not submitted to any sort of field sobriety testing or the breathalyzer as was my legal right. I was a faced with the possiblity of having an ignition iterlock device placed in my car, and not being able to drive for a period of time at all during the the summary suspension. If that were to have happened I would have surely lost my job. Dan worked it out a for me, with state's attorney, that if I plead guilty, paid my fines right away, I could keep on driving, which was the only way I could continue getting to work having no one else to drive me, nor any public transportation available to me in my area. Dan got this all done in just 2 court dates! Amazing. The summary suspension was rescinded the day before it was to begin and I was able to keep
on going to work, did my counseling classes and learn from my mistakes and move on with my life.
Dan is a first-rate attorney who made me feel comfortable and explained everything about what was
going to happen and why, in a very easy to understand way. I would recommend him highly to anyone who has been arrested for a DUI charge or other criminal offense. He is a skilled, experienced, first-rate attorney who gets your case done quickly. His fees were reasonable as well.

I needed expert help for my son who had serious felony charges filed against him that were unfair (really) but complicated. Dan used his knowledge of the law, as well as familiarity with every prosecutor/judge/lawyer and the system in Waukegan, to handle the case patiently, ethically, but aggressively when necessary. Eventually, all charges were dropped, which was more than we had hoped for. He's not always great at returning phone calls :) but is an unusually nice guy who does his best, charges fairly, and really cares about his clients. I highly recommend him.

This is pertaining to the incident at my Toyota Dealer, Classic Toyota on Green Bay road. Why would they do this to their good customer like me? Why not let me go in the office. Why was the young guy (Adam) be blocking the door. I wanted to go in the office, so I picked him up, moved him to the side of the door and entered. The Waukegan Police called me and asked me to come in - I refused, and they said the Warrant will be issued. I cited my health issue as a reason not to come in. Do you want me to get something from my Cardiologist that will say I have a very weak and bad heat and that is why I can't come in. The stress may kill me.
I want to report to you the details of today's my incident at Classic Toyota in Waukegan.
First, a little background. I purchased a Prius battery few days ago there. After touching base with my neighbor, I found out from him that I already had purchased a new battery about 6 months ago. My memory is failing me (I have onset of Alhzeimers), so I am glad that my neighbor remembered. Right away, I called the dealership and they verified my previous purchase of the battery. Bill, the manager, personally called me at home and told me that if I returned the new battery in its original condition, then a refund would be issued. I told him that I will not be able to bring the battery on Thursday, the 31 of Jan, but I will be there on Friday the 1st of Feb.
I arrived at Classic Toyota at about 1:30PM I came from the overhead doors side. I temporarily parked my Prius outside, close to the overhead doors. I lifted the heavy battery out of the car and walked in thru the service area with intention of leaving it by the doors to Customer Service area. I almost accomplished this task, but not quite. Classic Toyota employee, I believe his name is Adam, told me: "You can't leave this here! It is not a disposal for batteries".
I tried to tell him that this battery was sold to me few days ago and I am returning it, but he would not listen to me at all. When I tried to walk in the Customer Service area, he blocked the door and said: "Get out! Get out of here! I will not let you in! Get out now!"
I still wanted to go in there, I managed to do it after I pushed myself in the Cust Serv office.
This really enraged Adam - he decided to call the police and file a report.
I said, I want to park my Prius and walked out. I suffered from a failed heart condition and I started to feel bad. I was afraid my heart would completely fail me , so I drove to my doctor's office and then later, obtained additional heart medication. I feel better now.
Much later, I returned to Classic Toyota. The guy there treated me nicely. He assured me that the battery is in Bill's office and eventually I will get a refund.
My wife told that the police came to my house and asked for me and my cell number. The police called me on the cell and asked me to come in for a statement. I contacted a lawyer and he adviced me against going to the Police station. He told me to just wait for a warrant.
I also called Bill and my impression is that Bill is taking a side of Adam, I sensed un-friendliness towards me, a valued, long time customer.
I am sad and un-happy of what happened today. If only Adam was a little more diplomatic and if he would not take this immediate, aggresive stand, if only I would just walk out, back thru the overhead doors, toward my car and came back thru the front, then this would not have happened.

Posterli does real estate law and contracts in Lake County. Posterli is different for a number of reasons. First of all, he has a flat fee. It used to be $500 per transaction, but he recently lowered it to $450 (when does that ever happen?!).
Second, because of the flat fee, he never wastes any time. All conversations on the phone with him are short and to the point. He’s always happy to explain things if you ask for them specifically, but usually it’s Just The Business. Love it.
Third, he’s always available to help. Even if it’s slightly outside his area or responsibility. The focus is on getting the deal done as smoothly as possible.
I understand that most legal matters are more complicated than that of real estate contracts, but it’s still a refreshing experience to see what dealing with legal matters can also be like.

Jenny Valsamas had our families well being in her hands. She listened to me, trusted me every step of the way. (12 months of custody and removal from Illinois battle.)
