I wouldn't let them draw up a simple power of attorney for me. I called them because they are a big firm I wanted to file suit against a local hospital for miss diagnosing me costing me months of treatment and my cancer to spread and become more aggressive. They said I didn't have a case. I wrote 50 letters and mailed them to 50 different attorneys explaining what this particular hospital did. One attorney responded. A young Lady in Georgia that was also licenced in Florida. She said you have a great case with everything backed up in writing. I would like to handle the case for you. She filed suit for me I never had to go to court or be disposed and she called me in less than a year and said we have a settlement offer from the Hospital and the doctor. My part would have been 275 thousand after she got her part. I said I'm not going to settle for that she said I knew you wouldn't because we talked about what you wanted when we first met. She said I declined it as soon as their attorney called me and I told them you wanted to go to court and pled your case to a jury to decide the amount of suffering they caused you. I thanked her the following week she called me and said they made another offer to keep it out of court. I asked her what the offer was and what my part would be. I settled for a cool 525 thousand dollars as my part she got a total of almost a million dollars on a case these attorneys said wasn't worth it. I still have cancer however I'm getting treatment and I was able to pay off all my debts including my home and set up a trust so my son would have money when I die. I would never call these people again.

Called my spouse and I at 8:30PM with more energy than we were prepared for, to reluctantly ask us if we were interested in hiring him to handle probate and litigation, asked if we had any questions (sorry it’s 8:30, everyone is half asleep no we don’t currently have any questions) so he follows with, “okay goodnight” and hung up the phone. He follows up with an email saying “I’ll pass”. This “gentleman” did not give a reason as to why when he was asked in a responding email.
It took us over a month I want to say pretty close to 2, for us to be told “I’ll pass.”
The $XXX amount at stake is more than enough for any attorney to jump on. But us not even getting a response as to why passing the opportunity, is just down right rude. At least telling us why, would give us some insight on where everything is standing right now.

If you want to pay a low fee retainer, I understand. BUT if you put the trust into Eric Ash to do the right thing and put actual effort into your case, that will be a huge mistake. I put in a HUGE amount of time into my case (CS Establishment/Paternity Plan) to ensure everything was accurate. This should have been an “easy case” as I was never married. Eric Ash couldn’t enter the #’s correctly on a standard CS Calculation Sheet when it was the most important time (presenting it to the other party). I ALMOST signed on it but could tell the numbers were way off. Luckily I have a brain and saved myself from an INCORRECT CS monthly payment that would’ve added up to substantial loss until my child is 18 years old. Protect your $ and time. Stay away

My divorce was awful. My ex was/is extremely intimidating and manipulating and he layed it on the two lawyers I used over the course of nearly two years so much that one actually filed a withdrawal. When I finally met Eric I didn't have much hope and he turned it all around for me. He managed to get my trial set very quickly and stop my ex in his tracks with his professional yet kind manner. During trial, he knew everyone at the courthouse and is well respected and assured me that everything would be ok. Eric was right! He kicked butt for me during trial and reiterated that I need to be strong and ask for what I want without being intimidated. I am forever grateful. Eric was not only a fantastic lawyer but he was able to put me at ease with my decisions. He is a seasoned attorney and I continue to use him now while dealing with the constant aftermath/modifications from my ex. My confidence in him is solid and I will always refer anyone to him.

Ira is a very conscientious, detail-oriented attorney. He will thoroughly review the report of your case for inconsistencies and possible leniencies. Although I was very upset to be in a situation where I needed a lawyer, I was fortunate that I chose him as my lawyer. The situation was resolved relatively quickly. Unfortunately, like many quality services, it was expensive. He also seems to have many connections in the courthouse – that always helps. The ‘justice system’ is definitely not just or even a vaguely fair system. I’m glad I chose him.

Upon responding to my question i believe he made assumptions that i am making certain choices for selfish reasons. I believe he failed to ask sufficient questions to unknown circumstances and instead jumped to conclusions, something i personally never want to experience during a session with any attorney. I believe he Had no concern as to why, what, when, where, who or how. He was knowledgeable and i was able to take away legal advise but i would not recommend.

Abigail Beebe and her legal team were very professional throughout the course of my divorce. I live out of state , so Abigail was referred to me through a friend of mine. We actually never met face to face. My divorce should have been pretty straightforward, as there were not a lot of assets involved, but it dragged on for a year and a half. Whatever materials that were requested I always promptly provided, whatever questions I had Abigail and her team responded in a timely manner, and I was not billed unnecessarily. We hired Mr. Porcella after receiving an advertisement in mail. He represented my hubby on 2 occasions in the past year and he won both cases. Case 1 was a speeding ticket. The case was dismissed, no points with 120 days to pay the court fine. Case 2 was a DWLS ticket that turned into a bench warrant after my hubby failed to appear at the hearing. Mr. Porcella accepted a payment plan, told us what to do and we followed his instructions. At the first hearing the bench warrant was removed and my hubby's license was reinstated. Karmen has been working on my case for 2 weeks now. She has spent a good amount of time with me on the phone ( I'm presently out of state ) researched my case and has given me excellent leagal advice. Every time I talk to her she has answers. O by the way, she did this without a retainer payment, I just sent a small retainer fee today. So much for money driven !!! Thus far she has proven to do her job, been empathetic and seems to actually care.( Try finding those qualities in a lawyer. ) Although my case is in the begining stages I have full confidence she will do all she can for me. This attorney says upon retaining my old case that I had a great chance to receive a significant settlement. Less than two weeks later without any notification whatsoever, he resigns from his practice and joins a separate one who did not pursue the case. Their loss in a major way. It is obvious from his television coverage that he’s more concerned with his own personal exposure on television, etc. Definitely better attorneys with practical communication and professionalism toward clients are more easily available than this attorney. Never heard from him again after my initial meeting with him except when receiving his stamped signature letter that t he’s dismissing the claim on another attorneys letterhead . Not recommended.

This guy from start to finish was the best I have ever dealt with and I have dealt with a handful of attorneys in my time. From day one he explained to me everything and made sure I understood everything he also kept in constant contact with me all the time and was immediatly responsive to all of my emails and calls. I used Spencer Kuvin for my auto crash and his new staff at Cohen & Kuvin were not only friendly, but patient and responsive. He made my bad situation so much better and ultimately got me a fantastic settlement. An auto accident in which I was injured by another careless driver left me with what is known as "low impact" bodily damage which was not evident at the scene or time of the accident.
There was minimal body damage to my auto. Low impact damage can be especially problematic when certain conditions are previous to an accident. That being said, Bob Johnson accepted my case, ran with it all the way with it to the end, resulting in a monetarysettlement which (as I previously noted) is a difficult thing to achieve in a case such as mine.
Pain & suffering damages in an accident are limited by the age of the injured due to the fact that insurance companies represent that you have x number of years in your "expected" lifetime to suffer with pain.. After two years of independent (as they call it) medical evsluations by the other driver's insurance company, Bob suggested I settle to avoid litigation in which the fact that I did not have any "obvious" bodily damage would end up costing me money in legal and court costs.
Furthermore my own insurer LIBERTY MUTAL attempted to limit my PIP award & in fact, raised my premium twice no less after the accident while claiming it was "across the board" increases. The first increase was 35% of my monthly premium.

I hired this attorney and his firm in a sensitive case regarding childhood sexual abuse. From the beginning his firm where not helpful in getting me proper closure in terms of a settlement and returning. phone calls on in a proper fashion.
Then all of a sudden they drop my case leaving me to pick up the pieces and fight the case on my own which has caused him lots of trauma.

I contacted the law office of Dodger Arp on March 30, 2022 for a Uniform Motion Calendar hearing scheduled for April 6, 2022. Attorney Arp and I spoke to him in great length about prices and what I could expect for each cost on any service that he provided. On April 1st, I received a text message from Adrienne that Attorney Arp would not be available to attend that hearing, but no other information such as requesting a continuance, etc. After I made multiple calls to the office looking for actions that the firm could take regarding his representation, I finally got a reply to my email that stated that Dodger Arp was declining the entire limited appearance that was to include limited appearances for two other aspects of the case...less than 24 hours before the first scheduled hearing.

We went to several attorney who promised us a free house. Ms Rozier said there were very few free houses in today's foreclosure climate. She worked with us for over a year and helped us get a modification that worked great for us. We were denied 4 times before we worked with her.

I needed a Divorce Lawyer. Upon meeting Mr. Marshall, he represented himself to me as specializing in Divorce, so I hired him... I would later learn, he did not. After a 30 year marriage, I trusted Mr. Marshall to know what he was doing as a representative for my best interest, but in the end, I signed off on a Divorce Agreement that failed me. I lost the home I'd bought for myself, all the money I counted on coming in for years, and it absolutely destroyed the plans I had for the future. He made a terrible error, being simply wrong on the information he assured me was correct. I asked him repeatedly to check and double check his facts, but he did not, or I wouldn't be writing this now. He failed me completely, and I would never recommend this lawyer!

Would look elsewhere didn't do well for me at all for 5k fee plus $2500.00.
Child support and alimony and had to other side attorney fee she didn't do really do anything.
You need to find the attorney knows and wants to help you.
Do research yourself on the judge once you know who it is. After speaking to other attorneys about my case.
I now see I was setup by both sides.
Have to spend more now as my son wants to live with me will use legal aid. Was told by other attorneys that I should have went to court.
Advice due research on other stay away fro. This one she will sell you out.

I broke up with my Gf who was on my house deed. I put in 63K she put in 3K. There was also 35k shared debt that i was getting stuck with. I personally negotiated getting back all my down payment and 60% the equity. I could have gotten this back the her portion of the shared debt in 3 visits on my own to small claims.
Even after arguing with Ms. Rodely, she strongly advised me to not take the deal.
The house sold and the ex decided she wanted half of everything, ms Rodely finally got back and said she had a sweet deal. Well, that sweet deal was 35k less than the deal i negotiated. When i questioned her on this she said" i don't feel comfortable representing you" and I was left finishing up the ex GF's atty on my own.
Ms. Rodely, works out of other attorneys offices, she has no staff and rarely returns calls or emails. She was very evasive and rude and appeared to have lost all documentation because she never recalled our case details any time we did have contact. I wish i had read the other "real client" reviews before retaining her. For me Ms Rodely was a very poor and costly choice.

Simple technical VOP I left the state and went to California without permission. Had to get a paid lawyer because the prosecutor wasn't coming off 36 months and the PD said she not going to negotiate for me she has trial. $1,000 retainer no contract paperwork signed I was already locked up no bond. Got me sent to a drug dorm and another 3 month drug program upon my release, so all in all I did a year locked up. I avoided the felony conviction and had to pay victims restitution. He was a nice funny guy knowledgeable but trying to hit me up for more money when really I plead out to the judge open plea because the prosecutor was unreasonable coming down to greedy

Glenn was referred by a third party, I had no idea about law or the true depth of the three felony charges I was faced with. Mr. Wexler helped us with a car accident my daughter was in several years ago. He settled the case and we were happy to have everything paid and finished with. We then went to him for a bankruptcy for our business when we were having trouble. Mr Wexler got our final papers and plan last week. He was always professional, honest and reliable. We were very happy and would recommend him to anyone. It's a shame that resentful people can take their promblsms our on Mr. Wexler on these sites and try to hurt him. Someone should be able to review the people that are writing these anonymous reviews. If they were so perfect they wouldn't be looking for bankruptcy attorneys in the first place. Mr. Wexler and his office helped us and got us out of two bad situations that was not his fault we were in.
