Mr. Redding did an outstanding job on my ex's neglect and abuse case resulting in me having 100% full custody and 100% decision making to my then 6 year old son and 5 year old daughter. He had the Guardian at Leitem apologizing in court.
A littler over a year later I hired Mr. Redding again for a contempt case with my same drugged out ex. The case ended with her losing her supervised visitation rights and the Judge still ordered the original court orders regarding my ex and what she has to do to earn time and rights back. 10/10 will hire again.

They used to be Cantafio and Hammond. Their employment lawyer Christine Breen took my case, when I was at my lowest, just let go after years of workplace bullying, and recently retaliated against for whistleblowing, and contemplating suing my employer. She promised to help, but then was MIA and refused to return calls. Yet she charged $2000 doing work no one asked her to do, as I already signed a severance agreement not to sue. She never wrote a demand letter. Never did anything substantial, except wrote 2 emails. I had to tell her to cease and desist charging me. I had to bring this case to the bar association. She immediately called, yelling, you agreed to pay this amount. We negotiated, and she reduced it by a few hundred. I should've gone to the bar association and got her disbarred. When you are at your most vulnerable, you cannot trust these people.

I paid Joel Fry to defend me against Connie Matthews on charges of domestic violence. Durango is a small town. Everyone knows everyone. Connie owned a business around the corner from Joel’s office.
I told Joel that Connie attacked me multiple times. That the third time she was attacking me I pushed her off. Police arrived and I was arrested.
Joel continued to tell me to plea guilty, because he said, “The Judge will send you to jail.”. I trusted him and did. It’s now on my record. I remember him saying, “You’re retired. This conviction will not affect you.”
It came to light that Connie, single and 60, knew Joel, single and 60 and they both pretended not to know one another.
From my experience Joel Fry is not honest.
So beware.

I hired this lawfirm over a restraining order. My lawyer never made an attempt to contact me until I had reached out, the first time I called them and waited a day and no response then I emailed them the following day to get a phone call finally 3 days before court. Then the lawyer called the day before court wanting to meet 15 minutes before the case only to show up 7 minutes late to briefly go over a game plan with me. Very sloppy and unprofessional

I wanted to take a moment to make sure I recognize my Attorney Pat Marrison. At first I didn´t think I had a case but thought I would take a chance and request a consult with her. Marrison Law had handled my divorce over 10 years ago. My ex husband was retired military and Marrison Law made sure I received what I was entitled to when we originally divorced.
My ex decided he did not want to continue to make payments. We were married for more than 10 years. For those of you out there that don´t know what you are entitled to as a spouse to a military service member. I would encourage you to use Marrison law. Attorney Marrison took my call at the end of her busy day and advised me on what I could do before hiring her services.

I hired Sergei because the initial consultation was smooth, and everything laid out was in line with my objectives. After I hired him, there were long periods where he was working other cases and came back to mine only when the deadline was coming due. He would then work late, last minute phone tag with my ex and I without any kind of recording, and when we went to court, my ex had pretended like none of the conversations had happened. Additionally, while sitting in court he would have casework on his computer for another client...definitely not my case because the names in the documents were none of my kids, my ex, or me. During the breaks at court he would be on the phone with other clients, and not discussing what to expect while at court, what was coming, or what he was going to do for me on my case. As the months had dragged on in this process, his clerk would file paperwork with the court that had material errors that needed to be corrected (at my expense, again), and these documents would continue to drag out my case because the financial numbers were so inflated my ex would continue to refer back to them and I'd have to provide the same statements over and over again. When he would "bargain" with my ex, it always came to surrendering more and more of my assets in exchange for moving things along. Giving up 60%, then 65%, then 70% of my 401 in exchange for getting the divorce settled and over with. I eventually had to ask that he no longer represent me in my divorce because I couldn't afford his services. There was further dispute when the severance date was, and this was adjudicated in court as well when he placed a lien on any marital assets I may be awarded. In addition to the disputed bill, I was billed for the hourly rate of him and others at his firm to file suit against me, also being added to the lien. This debt, for several thousands more, is currently in collections and I'm looking at a chapter 7 to get clear of it. I'm glad some people were pleased with his services...but I regret hiring him with every collection call I receive.

I have been a repeat client of this office due to the fact that they are amazing! I have never experienced bad customer service from anyone. Between my husband and I, we have retained Erica for 3 separate cases/incidents. They work hard to make sure you're heard, and Erica and Susan don't let anyone push them around, and nothing slips by them. I REALLY hope to never have to spend money on attorneys again. I wish I could give this place 0 stars! My husband and I separated a decade ago, we have 3 kids together, my husband hired this law office to represent him to go after split custody, however my husband and I worked things out a week after hiring them and we NEVER went to court, this law firm submitted 1 document for him to the court but we NEVER made it in front of a judge for them to ever represent him. This place then sued my husband for $5k because he signed a document saying he would hire them to represent him, they didn’t care that they never represented him and that we worked things out, all they cared about was the money and don’t truly care about the “best interest of the families they represent” I think that’s beyond messed up they would sue him for what?!?! Till this day my poor husband is still paying on this debt because it has incurred thousands in interest the longer it sits not being fully paid off. We have paid $3000 and still owe over $11,000 for absolutely nothing! By the time they finally get paid off we will have probably paid close to $20k! I would never recommend this law firm to anyone unless you want them to help you destroy your life and put a financial burden on your family.

I first went to Chris regarding probate after my mom passed away. I was very impressed not only by his professionalism, but also his patience and how explanatory he was. So, I normally do not write reviews, especially for deeply personal services such as they provide, however my experience with these people was so poor I felt it particularly important to share.
If you are interested in the details I will provide them below, but I want to sum it up first as most of us do not read entire reviews. I hired these people on Monday Dec 16thand fired them 7 days later. There were two reasons: 1) Communication was worse than poor and 2) the assigned lawyer put more effort into arguing with me than he did in preparing the document I instructed him to write. They were given a chance to correct both mistakes and instead gave me a full refund of the retainer without even so much as an apology. I was left completely stunned by their utter lack of commitment, conviction, and even basic knowledge of the law. This man, and this firm should be completely embarrassed by this.
The full story:
I conducted interviews with multiple firms, this company was my second choice. I was clear during my interviews exactly what the situation was, what my expectations were and what my goals were. Every firm I spoke with all said the same thing “absolutely no problem “. I was told on on Wednesday the 11th during the interview with this firm that lawyer a would be a good fit. I paid the retainer on the following Monday and was immediately told that lawyer a was no longer available. I was assigned to lawyer b, who I immediately made an appointment with. This was Monday afternoon.
On Tuesday Mr. B called me 1.25 hours early, where we had (what I thought to be) a productive conversation. He said he would pull what he needed from public records and get back to me with the documents as well as a “strategy” within a couple of days.
At nearly 4:30 on Friday afternoon (after I complained that he had not reached out) Mr. B sent me an email where he lectured me about positioning, then he stated he was not able to pull the document he needed. In my response email I pointed out what he was arguing was not even relevant to the situation, then I asked him why he waited to ask for the document. I also pointed out that not only does the law entitles me to exactly what I’m asking for, but every lawyer I asked including his boss disagrees with his opinion of the situation. I gave Mr. B 4 hours to do what he was hired to do, with a deadline of noon on Monday the 23rd. I also called his boss and leaving a voicemail requesting to speak with her Monday morning.
Monday Dec 23 at 2 pm I called the boss, got voicemail again and told her it might be time to start talking about a refund. I then sent Mr. B, the boss and the paralegal an email saying time was up and I had seen no effort at all. I asked why I shouldn’t fire him.
I never received any response from Mr. B, his paralegal or the boss. I did however get an email from someone to process the refund less then one hour after the email sent to Mr. B. Had the money back before the end of the day on Monday.
Please do not hire these people. Mr. B was the second choice of my second choice, and I’m so thankful he showed me his incompetence before he even reached out to opposing counsel. The utter stupidity and incompetence was overwhelming to say the least. I feel so sorry for anyone who is foolish enough to hire them. The only good thing is they didn’t charge me for the 30 minute phone call or that poorly thought-out email, most likely in hopes that I wouldn’t share my story

I used them for a family matter and things went just fine, then we wanted to utilize their services for estate planning. We met with our attorney, she ended up leaving and we were never notified. She billed our retainer for thousands prior to leaving and not only we were never notified they just sent emails requesting to replenish our retainer. Six months later someone finally calls and I explain the situation and simply ask to be made whole so we can continue the work that never started. They refused, for 4 months I was passed around between paralegals until finally requesting a refund of the remaining retainer. No invoices were provided, no work and nothing to show for the money spent. I have 4 attorney offices in retainer for other needs and never have I had such a bad experience. Find a boutique firm with a reputable track record.

I hired Attorney Matt Patton in July of 2023 to help me with my divorce. From the very first moment I met Matt, he was not only professional and knowledgeable, but he made me feel supported, empowered, understood, and at ease. What should have taken a few months to process took over a year because of things outside both of our control. Matt was there for me every step of the way and felt my frustrations as his own. He did everything in his power to get this handled for me quickly and efficiently.
Throughout, Matt was communicative, kind, and represented me with integrity and grit. One of the more notable parts of Matt’s representation of me was whenever we had mediations or hearings in front of the Court, he stood up for me in ways that I have never been able to do for myself. To have a lawyer like that in my corner meant more to me than words can describe. I can honestly say that I would not have been able to make it through this process without him.
Matt was able to get me everything I asked for and more. At the beginning of the divorce case there was minimum contact. When a deadline near there was more communication but was last minute. Once it came time for mediation the charges really increased and it felt as the information gathered in the 9 months prior was not retained. In the end I would have probably saved money by representing my self because the permanent orders we 99% my exes request.
