She helped my husband get his residency and after a little over two years he has his green card! Our family went through a difficult time while my husband spent an entire year in Mexico waiting for his residency. While he was in Mexico, she did her best to have him back as soon as possible. She walked us through the entire process and assured that she would do her best to help obtain his residency. She didn’t make any promises, but everything occurred as she said. I sought out Nicole to help me in my messy child custody case. My two children and I were in a very difficult situation, where
the safety of my children were at risk. Nicole took the time to meet with me and see all previous documents from previous lawyers and mediations. She took the time to learn our case and come up with a plan to be able to ensure my childrens best interest. She was always a phone call away when I needed legal advice and help in hard situations through this entire process. She knew every single law and process that we would go through and she explained it to me all along the way so that I always knew what to expect. She fought for the safety and well being of my children through and through. She was by my side for multiple tough mediations and she always stayed stoic, strong, steadfast, and she would not be bullied around. She also made sure that if I was being unrealistic she made sure that she told me the hard things so that I was prepared for every scenario we could go through in this process. She is absolutely hands down the best child custody lawyer. She cares, she is smart, she is understanding, patient, she gives everything into her cases. I knew during the time that we were going through our custody case she had other cases going on in her life, but she was always available to help me. She made this really really scary process seem doable because she walked me through it and constantly cared/checked in on us. Fast forward through our custody battle, and she was then my lawyer for our childrens adoption. Mr. Perunovich did a quality job with my case. He was prompt in responding to any concerns or questions I had. You could tell with his experience and knowledge that he was confident in resolving my case favorably. If you are looking for an attorney, don't look any further then Mr. Perunovich. He will not just take your money and try to use scare tactics or talk you into taking a bad plea deal like some lawyers in the area. He is not scared to go to trial and never said a word about being worried we would lose the case. I would have been happy with Mr. Perunovich's representation regardless of the outcome because I could tell he has his clients best interests in mind. He is the type of attorney you want to hire!

While the previous person seemed unsatisfied with her previous attorney, Kim Corradi, and chose to blame Mr. Perunovich, I have only found him to be honest, hard working, and by all means ethical. I received monthly bills outlining everything that was done on my case so if I had any questions, I could ask right away. He also provided me with copies of every correspondence in and out of my file. He always tried to move my file forward even if the attorney on the other side was slow or non-responsive. I would highly recommend Mr. Perunovich for a family law attorney.

I was charged for 48 Felonies and have attorney bills that exceed it over $30,000 with attorneys that did nothing for my case and they spent over a year and a half. Recently had a custody and child support battle with the mother of my nine year old daughter.
As biased as Minnesota Courts are against fathers, I went into this battle very discouraged already. Derk Schweiger was amazing in court, and I felt that because of his professional demeanor, articulateness, and sheer brilliance in court, the judge was able to see where I was coming from, and my life situation, my desire to better myself as a man, and my desire to be a father. The judgment was more than fair, and I was very happy that I chose Derk to be my lawyer. I have referred him to several people, and if need be, I will definitely call upon him again. We had a great experience working with Satveer Chaudhary on my spouse's visa change of status process from J2 to F1. He was incredibly patient, taking the time to answer all our questions thoroughly and helping us fill out the forms in the best way possible. We could always contact him directly and receive almost immediate responses from him (not an assistant), even after hours and on some weekends! I’m not sure if other lawyers would provide that level of service, especially with no extra charges. We also appreciated how thorough he was, staying in touch not only when the approval letter arrived but also during our trip to India for stamping. Hired Sara Daly when I filed for divorce. My divorce was a very high conflict divorce and though I conveyed to Sara what type of person my ex wife is, I'm not sure she took it seriously at first. I assume that most attorneys hear from their clients that their ex spouses are the worst. In this case, mine actually is. After four mediations, one lasting 9 1/2 hours, I think Sara finally realized it.
As a father fighting for joint custody, I was fighting an uphill battle against an attorney who had no problem promoting her clients lies. I had to earn my parenting time when I was a father who, prior to filing for divorce, worked nights so I could stay home with my child during the day to avoid daycare. But somehow after I left the family home, I was made out to be an unfit father. I did not feel that my attorney represented me well in my original divorce.
Two years after my divorce was finalized, and literally non stop problem, I decided to take my ex wife back to court for more parenting time as well as several other issues that have. Once again, my ex wife came to court with a laundry list of lies. Sara exploited her lies, one by one. Sara came to the hearing very prepared and made my ex wife as well as her attorney look like fools in court. When my ex wifes attorney would tell a lie, Sara would counter it with the truth and the documentation to prove my ex was lying.
Though I was disappointed the first time around, I turned out to be very glad I rehired Sara. Sara is a very honest attorney and really is interested in the well being of the children involved. She also has no problem telling her clients if they are doing something they should not be doing. I would highly recommend Sara. She is straight forward and knows the law thoroughly.
Unfortunately no court order can force someone to be a good parent.

Sara is amazing at what she does. We were really nervous walking into our Termination/Adoption process and she made sure we were comfortable and educated on every step we took. We knew walking in that every difficulty that could be faced with the termination would be headed our way because the biological father would not consent to an adoption but Sara still helped us to take it one step at a time and kept our hope up! She helped us prepare for possible outcomes of a Trial and helped to us mediate our voluntary termination agreement. Sara was so prepared for everything and still I can't even count how many times I watched her read our case files just so she had that last hint of information. She impressed me more and more every time we walked into a court room. Hiring her was one of the best decision because of the dedication that she gave to our family.

I would not recommend the attorney Bob Howard to represent you. He was the most dishonest attorney I ever had to represent us. Gave us false information in a third party custody case. He misrepresented the case to us, but charged us an astronomical amount for doing nothing. After wasting two years on the case and giving us false information . He told us that both parents had to agree on legal custody or adoption. Which was false information they just had to be served that the grandparents were filing for legal custody. My husband and I ended up representing ourselves in court with the help form the attorney at the Anoka county law library. That is how we found out that Bob Howard lied to us just to get our money!

Robert helped me out during a very difficult time in my life. I was going through a divorce, and he was very professional, compassionate and did not needlessly string things out in an effort to take advantage financially. Many attorneys get a bad rap for doing shady work and wanting to "stick it" to the other party. Robert does not work in that way. He stayed focused on what I needed and wanted and got the job done.
