I was sued for full custody and equitable distribution. I met with Mr. Mace multiple times to go over my cases. He listened to everything I had to say and took charge. Courtney went above and beyond to help my son with his child visitation case. She came in on her day off , during pandemic when the opposing counsel pulled a shady court order. She immediately handled the situation and with good results. My son's case was a tough case and ended with good results without even having to go to trial. She is worth every penny and then some. She will fight for the rights of her client and any children to the fullest. I would highly recommend her and definitely seek her help again if needed.

When I made the decision to modify custody for my daughter I knew it was going to take a GREAT attorney to make it happen. I was told Courtney Hull was the woman I wanted, and boy was that information correct! Courtney is an amazing attorney who is passionate about what she does, I felt like like she was more than just my attorney but a friend! She did everything in her power to help my case and I ended up with joint custody, 50 50 after signing sole custody over to my childs father and after not seeing my child for a year. Almost unheard of right? Yet Courtney made it happen. I had the opportunity one day to speak to Richard in passing. Not knowing that Richard was a divorce lawyer, I asked if he knew a divorce lawyer. Richard informed me that he was in fact a divorce lawyer. After a brief conversation, I hired Richard to handle my divorce. Richard was thorough in explaining the divorce procedure as well as mine and my soon to be ex wife's roll in these procedures. Richard was timely in returning my calls or emails. As well as taking the time to address each of my questions and making sure I fully understood the response.

I was an Intended Parent for a gestational surrogacy journey.
Amy was a pleasure to work with every step of the way. She was always prompt and efficient. Her fees were reasonable and she was quick to answer any questions I had. I retained Ms. Nicholson's services last month after receiving a traffic ticket in Durham. It was the first citation I had received, and so was uncertain as to how to proceed. Ms. Nicholson, her partner, and the rest of her staff were all very professional and answered all of the questions I had. They put me at ease, and I worried much less about the situation after our conversations.
Ms. Nicholson was able to get the traffic case dismissed in this specific instance, and I could not have been more happy with the outcome. However, even if the result had been different, I would still recommend her firm due to her professionalism and transparency throughout the process.

I recieved a letter from the DMV in relation to an incident with my monitech device. I got the letter for DMV court on Monday and called Meredith the same day and she made time to have a meeting with me that same day as well as go to the hearing with me that Friday. She was amazing I was so frazzled About goin to a DMV hearing. Meredith sat down with me we talked about the events that lead to the incident and she really made me feel comfortable and gave me the confidence I needed to prove my case and keep my license. I would recommended her to anyone in a similar situation or dealing with the DMV at all!

We had a very difficult adoption situation that required some one who was extremely knowledgeable in adoption law and had years of experience with adoption cases. I've had to good fortune to know Parker since she was recommended to me during my divorce some 20 years ago. Through the years, we've stayed in touch, and I have recommended her to numerous friends in need of help with divorce or adoption. Hands down, Parker is one of the best family practice attorneys in the region. As impressive as her command of the legal ins and outs of divorce, what I found - and still find - most impressive is her command of how to manage the emotional aspects of divorce (especially when children are involved as was the case with my case) with the negotiation strategies that's needed. Parker's advice was spot on about when, what and how I should advocate for myself, and her focus on the long term picture helped me navigate the short-term emotional mess when a marriage dissolves. When I felt indignant or angry over a counter-offer about some minor debt my "future former" and I shared, Parker wisely counseled, "Roger, in the long run this is pocket change. It's not worth the fight because there are more important issues for us to take a stand on."
And she was right. Years later that advice to focus on what's really important in the long-run (that helped design a fair separation agreement that didn't engender long-term resentment) helped us work through a particularly thorny financial issue. And Parker was there right by my side again offering just the right guidance to help me come out of that negotiation (we were able to avoid court, thankfully) in a = good place. Moreover, Parker went out of her way to help keep my legal costs to a minimum.
Parker's a great attorney, a great individual and I'm proud to say a great friend. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

After meeting with several other attorneys to pursue adoption of my granddaughter, I met with Jamie Hester. Right away, I felt very comfortable and knew she was the right attorney for me. She is an exceptional person in the field of family law as she seems to really care about you and your family as individuals and not just a “case”. I had several speeding tickets in NC dating back to 2001. I contacted Ms Bostrom and she immediately got back with me and we planned out a strategy to pursue these tickets. Seeing that the tickets were in several counties, Ms Bostrom had to do a bit of leg worked to make contact with several small county DAs. That was not an obstacle for her!
When all was said and done, Ms Bostrom somehow was able to get me out of a ticket that carried a possible suspension of my license,etc. I was able to pay other tickets and fines through Ms Bostrom and that was really great, seeing that I now live in New Jersey.
We communicated on the phone and via email and she was always forthright in what the possible scenarios entailed.
I'd suggest that you retain Ms Bostrom's services because she is that good. Thank you.

I received a speeding/revoked license ticket about 2 years ago while employed with a transit company. In order not to lose my job and my remaining driving privileges I was ordered to attend a driving class. Mrs. Bostrom was a great helper in getting me the information I needed in a fast and timely matter. Once class was paid for and completed I received a certificate as verification and Mrs. Bostrom presented it to the right person and charges were dismissed. She is SO great!!!

Amanda is amazing at what she does. I came to Amanda, frantic. My husband and I had separated more than a year ago and had always had a civil arrangement regarding our children’s custody agreement. When I got offered a job out of town, he agreed to let the children come with me and to follow shortly there afterwards.
However, once things actually started to move into action. My ex shut down and decided he wanted full custody of the children. He kept them from me, only allowing “supervised visits” at his mother’s house. I found myself stuck in a new town with no legal rights to my children because we did not have an Attorney drafted Separation Agreement in place. The police could not even help me.
Amanda was there for me through every step of the way. She was professional, kind and firm when needed. She drafted an Agreement based on what I wanted, listening to what was most important to me. We prepared to go to Court if needed. Luckily, it did not get that far but only because of Amanda’s tact, patience, and kindness in handling this tense situation between two angry individuals.
If you are looking for a family lawyer, look no further than Amanda. This was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through in my life. Amanda was there for me, going above and beyond at every opportunity. She always gave me sound advice, a shoulder to cry on and her persistence and positive attitude allowed me to know things would fall into place… and they did.

I went to Scott Dunn on a few occasions for consultations and the advice he gave really helped me feel relieved, at ease and in preparation to be prepared for anything. I did hire this attorney. Scott Dunn made me feel more at ease in the courtroom based on what my case dealt with.
