Michelle Fulton will take all your money kept up charging fees for services u never get, has history scamming her clients you will pay for a divorce and find out years later divorce wasn't valid due to her paperwork or withdrawals herself from case without u even knowing! This lawyer was unfocused, delayed hearings and disappeared for weeks. Meanwhile my life with a divorce looming was terrifying. He assistant was too nice to work with a shyster like Fulton
She demanded money from me then I would not hear of anything. She dodged my phone calls constantly.
Upshot at the end because she ran the clock out I had to settle quickly and lost a lot of money. I talked to another lawyer hoping to rectify the damage done but was told there was nothing I could do and that A. Michelle Fulton was a poor attorney and not respected by her peers.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I started working with them in March of 2024. The attorney is just NOW telling me he doesn’t see it as a viable case. My 3 year old son got his thumb severely crushed while at daycare and had to have surgery to fix it. They worked awfully slow and barely followed up. The worst attorneys in the DFW area.

If I could rate this guy a 0 I would. It requires insanity to trust him.
He was assigned to a family member's case He waited 6 months to even go introduce himself & visit that family member. He didn't even know if family had been indicted or not. That 1 visit was all of 5 minutes when he did finnaly go see his client. He was told to contact me because I had exculpatory evidence that proved the charges were false & with a 250,000 bond.. family was stuck in tarrant county. I called a few times trying to make contact, check statuses, and even sent him a good portion of what I had as evidence in the mail. I got NO answers.
In the end, I was able to out right PROVE our case. But would have never happened with this guy.. he was trying to get family to take a plea for prison time. The offer was 30 years. After 13 long months in jail, for bogus allegations and an attorney who clearly did not care about helping his client.
I put my resources together & went & hired another attorney who actually cares about doing his job. Our new attorney, Nickols of Nickols & White PLLC was able to get the bond reduced less than 2 weeks after being hired. From 250k to 25k which was more reasonable for the charge. Family bonded out that day & a couple months later, Nickols had the charges dismissed.. I would NOT trust RAY "Harvey" HALL

I wouldn’t go to her. She hates men deeply and her judgement is clouded with her own hate for men and she takes it out on your soon-to-be ex husband. This means she doesn’t put your interests before her own. This will cost you and your children. Money out of your hands is money out of their mouths.
I paid for a Post Nuptial and she never provided it to me or return my calls because I stayed with my husband when he went on hospice. Without the Post Nuptial, I lost everything.
She also said Russell Dave’s played “fast and loose” and couldn’t be trusted. It turns out that Russell Dave’s was the best attorney we ever hired. He represented us in many matters and even gave us his personal cell phone and stayed in contact with us when he was on a cruise to Alaska. He saved us a house and an unlawful Lis Pendence (sp?) placed in one of our houses by a shady Lubbock law firm. We even kept Mr Daves when we moved to San Antonio. Too bad he is retired. He practiced law, not politics.
Dannie Botros is good and tough, but truly doesn’t put clients first, in my strong opinion. Evidently her ex husband did her wrong. You’ll pay to hear that bitter story, too.

Terrible attorneys they will try to convince you to sign a deal, regardless if you’re innocent or not, they don’t care about whose lives they’re fixing to ruin as long as you sign whatever deal they want you to they will not hear your side of the story. They wanted me to sign a “special probation”for a year on something I did not do, I Have no criminal history. I tried to tell them my side what happened three different times. They were relentless. I tried to convince me to take this plea deal. Do not spend your money on these attorneys if you get a court appointed you better beg You get another Attorney.

I came to know Mr Peterson through my Mother, who worked with Mr Peterson for her will and estate planning. I hired Mr Peterson in early 2019 to help with estate matters (probate, etc) and he continues to be available and helpful and willing to listen to various related matters and offer guidance and professional insight and respect. My case was assigned to Kim Washington, seemingly an competent lawyer; but after working with her for about ten months, basically continuing work begun four months prior by two of her colleagues, I have come to know differently. Any lawyer earning her fee per hour should be equipped with knowledge and experience that should enable that lawyer to offer sound advice to clients, especially if clients are asking for services that are not offered by the firm anyway!!!
I paid too much money (well over $15,000.00) for a divorce that was never contested, but too much time/expense allocated towards chasing possibilities only to learn later on two occasions that I would have to go outside of the firm for services not offered by the firm, but needed to resolve my issue!!! I hope Ms. Washington will listen carefully to what future clients need/want from her and honestly advise accordingly without unnecessarily compounding costs without delivering on objectives known from the beginning of the process.

Unfortunately, I've had a long and trying custody battle over a stretch of 10 plus years. I've dealt with a handful of attorneys over that time and Clint is far and away the best. He's understanding, direct, competent, and sincere. That last one is really a breath of fresh air. Mr. Lawson is currently working to help me get my daughter back (I'm the Managing Conservator) from the other parent who did not return her to me after Spring Break. Worst family attorney in Texas. I retain McNutt as my attorney in October of 2021. McNutt move my case out Texas child support court and into Hays County Family Court. After paying McNutt Law Firm nearly 3000 dollars she then requested a motion to withdraw from my case on day 7 o March of 2022. She withdrew from supposedly for bad client and attorney relations. Basically she took my money and left me to defend myself with no specific reason at all. I got proof of everything I am writing. My advice to anyone is to not retain McNutt as your attorney in family court if you want a good outcome in your case. She may do some good work for some of her clients but not for all and my case proves that beyond reasonable doubt. I am a real person and I have proof to show that this is a bad law firm, especially if you value your money and expect a good outcome. Don’t end up like me. You might find yourself in the same situation if you retain Jacqueline R. McNutt as your attorney. I can prove my claim, reach out to me if you want to know more.

Extremely slow on preparing and filing for a case. Very expensive was being charged $100 per text message that went to her paralegal. When it came time for the case she was to busy and had to pass my case off to another lawyer. With other lawyer we basically had to start all over as she was not involved or familiar with my case from the beginning. All of this was being charged to me so it was like I had to pay for two lawyers. When the court date finally arrived the new lawyer which was Miss Day appointed by Miss Cruz was very unknowledgeable and the case was thrown out. I wouldn’t hire either of them two as all they do is try and drag it out as long as possible to be able to charge you more hours.

I was divorcing my ex husband in 2006 due to emotional and physical abuse along with adultery. I was seeking sole custody of my children due to my husband's drug and alcohol addiction, and the physical abuse/neglect. I was told that it was impossible for me to get sole custody even with my medical records as proof. Ms. Stroh did not even show up to court, charged me $5000.00 and then harassed me saying that I still owed even more money. FOR WHAT??? Two years later I went back to court on my own, without counsel, and I walked away with more child support AND SOLE CUSTODY! Thanks for endangering my children's safety for two years and the mental damage it did to me and them. Worst attorney ever.

I interviewed five attorneys before I decided on Andrea. She was very professional, and was always very accessable. Anytime I called or emailed her, it was returned promptly.
She didn't give me any unrealistic expectations like some attorneys try to sell you in order to get that retainer. I had a lying, cheating, drug adtick wife that had been in an out of Green Oaks Mental Hospital 5 times in the last 14 months we were together. She also managed to get arrested a few days after I left for forging a prescription.
I ended up with everything I wanted, which was my retirement that I had workded so hard for and that my ex didn't deserve.

I have been wanting to do this review for a while, because Mr. Balli and his law firm deserve it. I don't know how much it will help Mr. Balli, but I hope it helps you. If you ever find yourself in a tough situation Mr. Balli is the best in Laredo and like my husband says he's a beast. That is what you need a beast; not scared to go up in front of the judge or jury. He will do everything he can legally to defend you as much as viable. You have to be patient and mentally strong. Just know that he can not give you updates every week, but when the time comes to represent you he will. My husband was initially looking at forty years and was sentenced to two years. I would definitely rehire Mr. Balli and his law firm to represent us, because he has great knowledge in the law and knows how to apply it to his client's needs.

My attorney Brooke Irey from this firm refused to represent me claiming I agreed to her withdrawal, however a judge has never approved that withdrawal. She got me locked out of my home that I have exclusive rights to until it sells. She risked mine and my sons lives to date by not writing up and delivering the judges orders Overall sneaky grimy shady business. All this because 7500.00 was not enought to write up a judges court order from 07/2023 according to her. That was not part of the 75000.00

Kay's office was highly proficient at obtaining the upfront retainer fees and ongoing high legal fees. They were timely in submitting paperwork. In the end, Kay provided little value beyond what a paralegal could have done, or a discount law office doing family law. When it was time to go before the judge, she had done no research on who would be hearing the case. She told me that she had prepared for a different judge, and now we were unlikely to win. She was correct. If you simply need paperwork filed on time, Kay seems like an expensive person to do this. If you need well-researched legal assistance, you should seek it elsewhere.

My ex wife and I had a custody order that not even four months old when Kay helped me file for temporary custody under emergency circumstances. Needless to say she was like a brick wall, anything they tried to overturn the order was denied. We ended up coming to an agreement for 50/50 custody. She worked with me so I could afford her services and took my case on at a moment's notice. If wasn't for her services, knowledge and compassion my kids would still be stuck in the position that they were previously in.

I would highly recommend Kay. I needed a lawyer to help with filing for a name change for my son. The issue of the dad being in a different state and so on seemed too much of a hassle to tackle. After billing me, $13, 287.50 this office was unable to even achieve a divorce mediation meeting. I expected alot more . My child was seriously burned multiple times. Judge said mediation was required apparently with little or no fight from her. Idk alot of law but if a child is burned on multiple occasions Id expect a little faster hearing or at least an attorney that wont take no for an answer for the safety of children. Had mediation she sat on her cell phone most of the time she interrupted one time to correct a lie my ex told thats about it. We had no planning or game plan for mediation I recieved a phone call the day before. Ive never been in mediation i dont know what to expect, but Her and the mediator while in MY mediation session were disussing other cases and discussing names in front of me. Very unprofessional imo and when i complained about her behavior the First thing i recieved was a bill. I called to say I've only recieved 2 statements the entire 6 months Next thing i recieve is a copy of the orders with the "wrong address". And other added stuff in the orders that may or may not have been taken out she filed a motion to withdraw because I complained about her professionalism (cell phone use while i pay 250hr) to the court and her boss. I received no answers why the judge forced mediation other than the judge didnt wanna hear arguments.

Ms. Barr did the impossible, she won my husband full custody of his children in the State of Texas!!! Ms. Barr is the second attorney we have hired, (first attorney was with a completely different law firm) and I am so thankful she was recommended to us! I was lied to, paid lots of money to her, signed papers to be filed into court which was NEVER DONE she led me on for approx 3 years and in the end nothing, never stepped into court the last year and a half but continued to charge me. When i fired her she sent me a bill for more money. She received approx 13,000.00 from me.

At the initial consultation, I was comforted by her compassion and seemed to understand my situation. However, after dealing with my husband and his attorney, I realized she was not consulting me about assets; but agreeing with opposing attorney. She never followed through, never prepared me for court, and even suggested that she could refer me to another lawyer if I wanted to pursue by letting the judge stop the illegal actions committed by my husband. I am still having to deal with the fall-out of haphazard actions by her, and her hateful remarks to the affect that she was finished and I was on my own. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone else.
