Not all super heroes wear capes. I have nothing but praises for Mr. Russell Babcock, he is the closest I have seen with super powers in a court room.
Mr. Babcock represents the layman side of the law; through his counsel we were able to digest and understand all the terminology and processes required to follow taking our decision making to the next level.
Since the initial counsel seeking phase Mr. Babcock showed true availability and genuine interest in knowing and understanding the case. My husband is a youth offender and he has been in prison for over 24 years, he had his 1st board hearing July 7, 2023 and he was found situatable. Ms. Letarte did an amazing job preparing my husband and giving us the family guidance and templates. My very 1st call to her was one of the best experiences I had. I had felt i had hit a dead end with the lack of interest, all others asked for a retainer to be able to speak to us, she was different. She talked to me for about 40 minutes, giving me options and guiding me, she never asked for money until we hired her. Yolanda her legal assistant is also fabulous. 2011 I was convicted of a felony which I was put in deportation proceedings. My family hired Nanya to assist us in this difficult time with everyone She provided the best legal advise for me and was in constant communication with my criminal attorney so I can vacate my charge for "ineffective assistance of counsel" so that I could go back to criminal court and not be deported. She assisted me with declarations, motions and appeals for the immigration courts. She did an awesome job, she communicated with my family with everything that was going on, and she fought for me all the way through. Well everyone my criminal charge was vacated and I did not get deported. Thanks to Nanya and her 100% devotion to my case. I am reunited my family, my children and friends. I want to tell everyone that if you are going through a difficult time with immigration law contact Nanya she will be there for you and guide you and give you the proper advise to beat your case and not get deported. I was facing an extremely difficult military divorce case. The order I had included a wrong division of military pension, it also directed me to vacate my home, and put my home up for sale all within a very short period of time.
I was also facing losing my share of the military pension, and I was especially facing trying to find a new home for me and my children, at a time when housing cost has skyrocketed in San Diego.
The minute I spoke with Sondra she gave me hope. I knew she was a game changer. Attorney Sondra Sutherland was able to save and keep my children in our home. Sondra is tenacious, assertive and highly knowledgeable. When I first spoke to her on the phone I knew she was the right attorney for my case. She spent her time explaining all of my options and advising me as to the best course of action with my best interest in mind.

Brian has been helping me since 2001. I was in the military and had 2 DUI's in a years time. Not only did he defend me and help me resolve it he gave me some great advice. A few years later, I had to return to San Diego to deal with an issue and Brian helped me again with spectacular results. I was in the market for a lawyer to help me clear my arrest record for a DUI that the D.A never filled charges, but the arrest was still on my record. I was all set to meet with another lawyer the day after I gave Brian a call, but I was referred to Brian from another lawyer contact that I picked up from my job. Called his office, got him on the phone, explained my situation, he told me exactly what he would do and how much it would cost. I wanted to set up a face to face meeting or we could have just corresponded via snail mail. I chose the face to face option.
I went to the previously scheduled meeting with the other lawyer. The other lawyer said what Brian proposed to do could not be done and was going to charge me 85 percent more then what Brian quoted. I thanked him for his time and went to my meeting with Brian.
When I met with Brian it was painless, I peppered him with questions about wether I was legally entitled to the remedy he was seeking. He said that I was, a direct contradiction of the previous lawyer that I talked to. After signing things that allowed Brian to represent me I again asked him when I could expect a result of the remedy he was seeking with SDPD. He gave me a one month turnaround. I walked out of his office reassured. And only spending a tiny fraction of what the other lawyer was quoting me.
The month came and I got a letter from Brian with what he had promised from SDPD. He also requested that my arrest be sealed and destroyed. This was the same process that the other lawyer was going to charge me an arm and a leg for. I called Brian and got him on the phone right away, asked how much the extra motion was going to cost. He told me not to worry and will discuss any extra fees dependent on how SDPD responded to the request to seal and destroy. Again this was a request that the first lawyer said that SDPD usually never grants. Brian on the other hand told me to wait it out for their response. He again gave me a one month deadline for them to respond.
Before the one month deadline I got another letter from Brian indicating that SDPD had agreed to seal and destroy the record of the arrest. I can not thank Brian enough, I can legally and honestly answer any question about wether I have ever been arrested with a resounding NO. Do your research first and talk to Brian and see what he says. I trust him 100 percent.

I was the executor for my mother's trust when she passed away in 2006. After checking around with friends seeking a recommendation for a good Estate/Probate attorney, all I can say is "Wow!" what a great recommendation I was given. One meeting with Andrew and I could tell what a person of character and integrity he was, and he did not disappoint during the entire two years it took to resolve the estate. One of my brothers created some difficulty during the process by refusing to honor our mother's will. I contacted Joshua Fields's firm Kirtland & Packard regarding a potential class action law suit. He returned my call within the hour and discussed details with me for a full hour!! The consultation was not a part of his schedule for the day, but he even put effort into researching my issue before he called me! He took his time discussing with me, asking questions, and researching my issue. I felt like I was talking to a therapist. His communication style is validating & empowering. David Zugman is an amazing lawyer. My previous lawyer I had for 9 months while i fought my case and kept telling me I was going to get a 10 year mandatory minimum. When my previous lawyer was dismissed due to a conflict of interest, David became my lawyer. From the beginning, I told him I would not sign of 10 years. He said give him a week. I can’t recommend Ricardo enough. I went to several lawyers, and all of them told me that I couldn’t become a citizen. Ricardo gave me hope and helped me file everything to become a citizen of the United States. He assured me that everything was gonna be fine and it did.
