My wife and I retained the services of John Burns after an issue arose in our bankruptcy case that our original attorney was unable to resolve. From the onset, Mr. Burns knew the correct action to take to bring an acceptable resolution to the matter. Once a resolution was achieved, we thought our issues were over. Unfortunately, the creditor in the prior matter failed to take the proper action on their side which led us to retaining the services of John Burns again. Mr. Burns and his firm worked diligently to ensure our rights as debtors were protected and that the creditor would be held responsible for their neglectful actions. Though it was a long process, we are happy with the results and can now put this behind us and get on with our lives. His experience and the experience of his associate (Melissa) was invaluable to us and we thank them. Although stressful, Mr. Burns was able to get a positive outcome for us in this matter. I would highly recommend John Burns and his firm!

Attorney Boyd was everything I could ask for in a lawyer with the most reasonable price I could find. He is a good man, has plenty of experience, knows the courts, was fair and understanding with me, and got me the best custody, and divorce agreement I could ask for. The attorney Mr. Bashir was very professional. He handled our partnership documents when another partner was leaving our practice, and we were inducting another member in our company. When we took our case to Alexandra she was the fourth lawyer we had seen but the first one to say that our case was feasible. Thanks to her we were able to get our hardship case approved. It took us about two years to complete, and she honestly warned us up front that this would take a long time and be costly. She made no guarantees and was quite ethical. She assisted us through the entire process, step by step. We did everything we could for our part, and she built up our case for us. Our Son had two Title IX Complaints filed against him with the University of Maryland from another Student. As a Family we disagreed with the Complaint. We hired Ron and he assisted our family and represented us in the proceedings against him by the UMD Conduct Offices. The Charges filed were of a serious nature and could have lead to an expulsion from the College and would negatively effect his academic and professional career for his future. Ron planned and prepared a defense for us, prepared and filed several documents, and represented our Son in each of the investigations and hearings. His knowledge and additional interpretation of the Student Code of Conduct assisted us in having all of the charges dropped and it was determined there were no violations. We had felt our Son was treated unfairly in the investigation. Ron's diligence and pursuit of this matter along with his interpretation of the Student Conduct Rules resulted in a favorable outcome on our behalf. Within the past 3 years I’ve endured financial failure, separation, and illness. Not only was he able to stop the foreclosure, we were able to get caught back up on our mortgage in a Chapter 13 plan, and have been able to keep our family home. My ex employer has been harassing me on social media, through the horse community, and the court system. They had filed a fraudulent peace order against me and appealed the decision. The resulted in me having to go to court. I called jay, met him that day and the next thing I was on his caseload. Jay went to court with me and not only protected me, but he dominated and had everything dismissed.
