As a first time for sale by owner house seller I reached out to Rob based off of other reviews I had seen. I was not disappointed! He reviewed our contract before he even received the payment, always got back to us in a timely manner, answered all of our questions, and made us feel really comfortable. It's hard to believe that a month ago I didn't even know Robert Pope. In the past few weeks, he has been the calm in a stormy sea. His manner has always been professional. His accessibility and competence have been reassuring during a most stressful time.

Mr. Amir Raminpour and Mr. Christopher Gardner assisted me in filing for my bankruptcy. I received an outstanding professional service from them. Mr. Gardner explained the entire process and answered all my questions during our first consultation meeting that went beyond the typical 15-20 free minutes limit. Mr. Mattox represented me on a speeding violation, which would have resulted in a recklace driving violation. He explained the whole process step by step and took care of everything me promptly. He then appeared in court on my behalf, and successfully negotiated a significantly reduced sentence of Defective Equipment. a non-moving violation with no points, no stress over affecting my insurance. Did have to pay court costs and fine, but well worth it. It could have been a nightmare for me, had I tried to handle it on my own especially with a CDL. I have been represented by David Martin in the past as a private attorney and recently as a public defender for a misdemeanor traffic case. He is a very talented lawyer and will be always be quick to answer inquiries in a very prompt manner. Every personal experience I have had with him has been incredibly positive and I am always satisfied with the case resolution. He possesses a great rapport with the prosecution team and judges which will create a fair atmosphere. Mr. Martin is also very honest and personable which develops a great attorney client relationship and confidence in his abilities.
As my case continued, I saved up enough funds to retain private representation and asked Mr. Martin if he thought it was necessary, but he assured me that he would fight equally as hard for his client whether retained privately or appointed by the court. I trusted him and continued with him as my public defender which resulted in the case not being prosecuted due to his effective strategy. I was both incredibly pleased and relieved with the result.
If you can afford an attorney, his private lawyer fees and retainers are very reasonable. As an appointed public defender, you can expect the same professionality, exceptional representation, and a positive case resolution. I recommend David Martin and I am happy to see he now has his own personal law firm, he definitely earned it.

Ms. Yi follows up on a case that we believed the courts had closed. Come to find out, the case was still open.
She took time out her day to go to the clerk’s office and confirm the case should have been closed. Without her following up on this, there could have been a warrant issued.
She keeps the lines of communication open. I highly recommend her services!

From the moment I met (online) Ms. Vaillancourt, I knew I was in good hands. She started by introducing herself and explaining that she would be my lawyer for the day in court. She made sure I had been given my questions of what the trustee would ask of me so I would be relaxed at knowing exactly what to expect. When I arrived at the courthouse, she began explaining everything that would happen in the courtroom. I came in somewhat scared and worried, but she calmed any fears or concerns by answering all of my questions before we went into the courtroom, even the ones about the smallest details. Once in the courtroom, and before we started, she explained again, step-by-step what the procedure would be, where I would sit, where the trustee and his aides would sit, what they would do, and I felt myself beginning to relax. I watched other lawyers go up with their clients and was amazed that they were no where near as prepared as we were. I had all of my information ready, and so when I saw that one person ahead of us still had not filed certain paperwork, I knew again I was in good hands. When my turn came to go before the trustee, Ms. Vaillancourt sat beside me in front of him when he asked questions, and gave me assistance when I did not understand a question, and helped me through the whole process. When the trustee asked me questions, I answered in yes, no, etc, and I was done in only about 5 minutes, unlike the persons who had lawyers from a different office. It had taken 15 minutes to half an hour for them to go through the questions. She is smart, professional in manners- knowledge- and appearance, and answers all of the questions you have. She is very knowledgeable in the law, in how the court works, and what is expected of her clients. She is very kind and considerate, and understands how hard this process is for people. When she spoke with me outside the courtroom, she spoke quietly so as to not let others in the room hear my information and that showed me I could trust her. I had never gone through any kind of process like this before, so I was grateful that I had Kaitlin with me the whole way. And, she was concerned enough about me to do a follow-up to see how I was doing. Total care, kindness, knowledge, and responsibility for her clients.

Throughout 2013 and 2014, Rachael Hammer has done an excellent job with my divorce, support and custody case despite extremely contentious and difficult circumstances. The custody case started with the mother trying to limit visitation to twice per month which led to a hearing where Ms. Hammer successfully argued for joint custody.
Ms. Hammer guided us through months of negotiations and litigation to a highly successful outcome. She has stayed with us in the aftermath, taking late night and weekend phone calls, through pick-up explosions and police involvement.
I can not say the case has been pleasant, but Ms. Hammer and her legal assistant Katrina Smallwood, have remained a calm and steady presence no matter the circumstance. Ms. Hammer is knowledgeable about Family Law in both DC and Virginia, reliable, and professional. She works well with Clients and opposing counsel.

I had been convinced by another attorney that I needed to file a Chapter 13 bankruptcy. I went through with it, but then another friend of mine and I were talking and it got me wondering if I should have done a Chapter 7 and not been stuck with the payments for a Chapter 13. My friend gave me Mr. Davis' number so I went to talk to him. It turned out that there was no good reason for me to do a Chapter 13 since I rent my home. Mr. Davis explained that I didn't need to lose my car or anything by filing Chapter 7, and it was a much faster process than the 13. He said that a discharge is a discharge, and there's no big advantage to paying a part of your debt through a Chapter 13 if you don't have anything to lose in a Chapter 7. So we converted my case from a 13 to a 7 and I'm very glad that I went to see him because getting a discharge in 4 months instead of in 5 years was a good change for me. I've been able to start rebuilding my credit a lot faster than I thought, too. I felt like he was really listening to what I needed and making sure I understood everything about my case. I hope I never have to file bankruptcy again, but if I did I'd go back to him.

Mr. Davis filed bankruptcy Chapter 7 for me and my wife. He was real patient and answered all of our questions. We thought we were going to need a Chapter 13 bankruptcy but Mr. Davis told us we didn't have to do that to be able to keep our home, so we were glad he was honest about it. Everything went just the way he said it would, so that made us happy. His secretary can answer most any question you have after filing and is real helpful, too. With just Mr. Davis and his assistant they can't always return your phone call right away and he's in court or with other clients a lot, but if you don't mind waiting for him to get back to you he's a real good lawyer. I recommend him.

Mr. Davis handled our Chapter 7 filing. He's really young, but he's a good lawyer. He and his secretary are really friendly and welcoming. We got our discharge without any issues at all. Sometimes it takes a day before he returns a call, but that's probably because there's only the two of them and they get really busy. His price was also better than a lot of other places I called. I definitely recommend him. They seemed to really care about helping us.

Mrs Gardner took care of our bankruptcy. She was extremely knowledgable in both the chapter 7 and 13 and helped me to figure out which one was the best at helping our family. She was even able to get 2 mortgage liens stripped because my house was no longer worth the amount of the two equity loans. She was wonderful at making us feel comfortable and always quick at replying to our emails or calling us back when we had questions. I stopped in the office to get her help with out an appointment when I was panicked over my husband having his clearance taken because of our financial problems and she brought me right into her office and wrote a letter for us and made copies of paperwork for us and calmed me down as she worked with her scheduled clients in other offices. Mrs Gardner saved my husbands clearance and helped us save our home with our bankruptcy! She is wonderful!

Her advice enabled me to complete loan modifications on both mortgages successfully, even though she did not represent me in either process. I've always paid my bills on time and managed my money so I never thought I would be in bankruptcy. Then I was unemployed for over a year and my tenants moved out six months into that year. I started out by calling a law firm that said it only did bankruptcy but they kept not getting back to me. I called the state bar to complain and the bar referred me to Fenlene. She helped me save my house, car, bank accounts, retirement, etc. and even helped me keep my security clearance through the process. I can't say enough about her. She's wonderful.

I opened my own business and bought a brand new truck ( which Is now paid in full) and I did all this within months after filing bankruptcy!
