Rakin Did a great job for us! I deal with insurance all of the time and thought it would be easy to deal with this event. It was a accident where a family member was hit by a car. They were fine after some time in the hospital and the driver was insured so it did not seem difficult! 4 weeks after the event I got Rakin contact information and he took over.
We just wanted the medical bills covered, if I had not contacted him I would have had to pay most of the bills due to the driver lo coverage limits.
I think he saved us 100k!

We hired Adam to assist us with starting our new business. Adam met with us to help us understand the types of corporations and what worked best for us. He worked with us on our operating agreement and walked us through the entire trademark process including warning us about scams that may show up afterward (and they did!). Adam also reviewed and recommended changes to the terms and conditions and privacy policies for our website. Our business is food and agriculture-based, and he assisted us to find other resources we needed to ensure we comply with VA law. He's responsive, knowledgeable and professional. We even hired him to help us write a contract for our nanny. If we need a lawyer we call Adam. Don't tell him I said this, but I'd probably pay him more for the service he provides.

Dr Hollowell is the patent attorney for our firm, and has done an outstanding job. She is always on top of whatever document needs to be filed, and never lets a deadline slip up on us. We filed a patent and it was approves by the USPO, and then she laid out a plan for widening the impact of our patent and protecting our intellectual property. She works diligently today to strengthen our patents so we won't have unforeseen issues in the future with someone trying to go around them.
We have another very technical patent that has just been filed where she enlisted other professionals to build the application from scratch so to speak and made it a viable presentation to the USPO that we feel confident it will be approved. She went the second mile for us on this one especially...getting detailed drawings done and verbiage etc. for a tight presentation of the material and the idea to the USPO. I hired Alex to deal with allegations of copyright infringement on my business website from another law firm representing Reuters and the Canadian Press. Alex was excellent to work with. After gathering the facts from me and doing some legal research, he crafted a legal defense and sent letters/emails to the other law firm and organization. He was able to settle the disputes for a sum considerably lower than I would have had I gone about this on my own. Alex's fee also included making sure that the release documents were appropriate and the matters were closed with the other law firm once I remitted payment.
If you are in a similar situation regarding copyright infringement, I highly recommend contacting Alex. Based on this experience, I will be using Alex for all of my business needs such as reviewing contracts, etc.

Our condominium board was making financial decisions not in compliance with Virginia law and condominium bylaws. We had to deal with a breach of contract and, after a quick search, found Tony Damiani’s practice. Our last lawyer left us in the lurch and didn’t pursue the requested course of action against the defendant but wouldn’t give us many details as to what work had been done.
