Daryle and the entire team at Tibbs Law Office helped me during one of the most important family matters I’ve ever had to deal with.

I had the privilege of working with Paul Croushore on a recent legal matter, and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with his expertise and strategic approach. Paul's brilliant legal strategy was pivotal in getting our case dismissed, leading to a successful outcome in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Paul represented us in a complex copyright infringement case brought against us by Growella, Inc., a mortgage company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Growella, represented by John Bennett from Frost Brown Todd, alleged that we, Phillip Ganz and other defendants, had infringed on their copyrighted content related to the home buying and mortgage process. Despite the plaintiff's strong representation, Paul immediately recognized the critical issue of personal jurisdiction and strategically focused on this point.
Paul filed a Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction, meticulously arguing that Growella's claims did not meet the required legal standards to establish jurisdiction in Ohio. His arguments were clear, compelling, and backed by a deep understanding of the relevant legal principles. He expertly navigated the complexities of both the Zippo test and the Effects test, demonstrating that Growella had failed to show that our actions were purposefully directed at Ohio residents or that our website targeted Ohio more than any other state【6†source】.
Judge Matthew W. McFarland agreed with us in every respect, dismissing the lawsuit by Growella. Paul argued that, based on case law, transfer or dismissal was the appropriate course of action. While he acknowledged that transfer could be considered if deemed appropriate, he did not request it. Moreover, Bennett opposed the transfer, so the judge dismissed the case outright. This decision was a complete victory, as the judge agreed with Paul on every facet of the argument.
Thanks to Paul's efforts, Growella, Inc.'s complaint was dismissed without prejudice, and the case was terminated from the court's docket【5†source】【6†source】. Attached is a copy of the judge’s decision.
This victory over Growella, Inc. and their counsel, John Bennett of Frost Brown Todd, is a direct result of Paul's legal acumen, thorough preparation, and strategic foresight. I emailed Attorney Thurmann through AVVO on a Sunday afternoon and honestly was not expecting a response until Monday or later. He apparently felt my anxiety in the email and replied within an hour that Sunday. I received a follow-up response to a second question the following Monday. Based on his promptness and the information he shared, I was able to initiate immediate action through the court. He assured me he would assist me if any problems arose as I proceeded. I will not hesitate to retain him in this case or the future. I have worked with many attorneys through my employer over a 40 year span and I know the value of timely responses. Suzanne Land and I were first introduced through a mutual friend, after my husband's death. I engaged her to assist me with matters related to closing the marital estate, which was comprised of several companies and employed over 300 people at the time.
The estate was very complicated and there were many challenges.
I had no previous experience running a business or engaging an attorney or negotiating a contract. Everything about the process of closing down my husband's estate was stressful and frightening. I was emotionally brittle and Suzanne experienced my personality shifts with grace, compassion and understanding. She was always caring and always patient.
Suzanne had the incredible ability to take very complex issues and explain them in a way that was easy to comprehend. This was so comforting to me as I moved through this process to conclusion.
Here is an example that highlights her talent. The companies in the estate were being overcharged by a consulting firm on multiple invoices over months. I asked her to review a recent invoice sent and she quickly marked the entries where the hours billed were duplication of effort and the bill was cut in half. She took the time to explain the invoice to me so I could see how those hours were logged and where the duplication occurred, so I could speak to the company with confidence when I insisted they reduce the bill by 50%. They reduced the bill by half and I saved thousands of dollars.
Suzanne suggested ways to protect my assets, revised my will, established my family and personal trusts, even created an education trust for my son to safeguard the money I wanted earmarked for college. She is intelligent, extremely competent, detail oriented and possesses the sharpest instincts in all matters of business. I feel safe because she has handled my estate and when I pass away I know my son will be in capable hands, as she guides him through this passage of life.
When you call for an appointment, she is prompt to call you back and will often come to you. That is personalized service I appreciate.
Suzanne is a great legal talent, but more than that, she is willing to go the extra mile. My son was 8 when I met her, but when he was 20 and thinking of a career in law, I asked Suzanne if she would have lunch with him to talk about law schools, answer questions and share insights from her career. She didn't hesitate to give up her personal time to meet with him and encourage him, to discuss which law schools offered the best programs, and all the opportunities he could pursue in this career after graduation. My son found her advice extremely worthwhile. He so appreciated her going out of her way to do this for him.
It is great to know people like her still exist. She has integrity, character and compassion. Suzanne is the whole package.

I was given mr laux number from another law firm when I called seeking advise about a landlord eviction. MR Laux answered the phone very quickly and was very patient with me as I asked for answers to some eviction questions. Mr Laux is not like most lawyers you speak to whom wants money to even answer a question. He was very straight forward in explaining to me the answer to my questions, He was very honest in how he responded also. Before contacting Mr luax I had contacted 6 other law firms with the same question and even paid a 15.00 fee for five of them to get nothing but a simple" it all depends". Or i would be glad to represent you for a fee of 175 00 down today Nd the other 300 before court". MR Laux actually told me that I should not need a lawyer if I had the things I said I had. He Advised me to be at court early, not late not on time " early" with all my evidence printed out for judge to see. He also let me know if I was short on funds or could not afford a attorney and felt I still needed one I could call legal aid, or H.o.m.e and provided the numbers. So I'm letting everyone know if you want a intelligent very knowledgeable attorney to fight for you he is your man!!!!! Thank you so much Greg laux you don't even know how much you helped me with the info I was given in the 10 minutes we talked.

He told me his price and allowed me to shop around for other lawyers if I wanted without being pushy or a salesmen. I ended up going with him because he seemed genuine. I had never been through anything like this and it’s not a quick overnight process. When you are going through something like this a ton of questions pop up in your head and whether I called, emailed, or texted him with questions he always got back to me with a direct answer. Every ovi case and situation is different and outcomes may vary but I ended up getting charges reduced with no license suspension or points on my license. While a lot of the legal system is a cash grab, if you get caught up in a bad situation like I did, I would highly recommend giving Jeremiah a call.

Our small business needed an Ohio lawyer after a frivolous lawsuit was filed against us. Avvo allowed us to pin-point precisely the types of attorneys we needed. Matt was the first person we contacted, and he replied within a few hours. In our initial phone consultation with Matt, we immediately felt at ease. His knowledge, experience, and attention to detail were clear; but most importantly was the even-keel yet analytical approach he inherently possesses. I work for the courts so I've seen dozens of attorneys at work. I can say with complete confidence that Mr. Rust is significantly more prepared than anyone I've seen on civil cases. He covered a personal real estate issue for us. He forced the plaintiff to admit insufficient cause for their financial demands. I was in a bit of a tough situation last summer. I was up against a potential OVI charge after being pulled over late at night with a .7 BAC. Being just a few months shy of turning 21, I was more than a little freaked out at the potential damage that this could have on my record and future.
I was incredibly fortunate to have Dayle as council in this situation. Dayle understands the depth of the problem at hand. She has always acted as if she had a personal stake in this matter. I feel like she is looking at our issues from our shoes. A few years ago I found myself facing a contentious divorce. Richard was a relatively new attorney. His warmth, professionalism and attention to detail comforted me.
I later learned my estranged wife’s attorney was a seasoned veteran and local prosecutor. I looked Richard in the eye (at our next meeting) asking if he was in over his head? His response was similar to “From what we’ve seen so far I’m confident the opposition isn’t on top of his game”.
