Edit in response to John’s dishonest response:
I sent John multiple emails and text messages over a period of about a week notifying him I had an important meeting with the IRS regarding the immigration status of my wife. I needed the tax documents so I could give them to the IRS and move forward with the immigration attorney to get her status updated and her future secured. You can imagine this was very important to me. John ignored ALL of my emails and text messages.
Days before the meeting I left John a bad review hoping to get his attention. And I did! Lo and behold he replied the same day and sent my tax information to me. In his email he chastised me for leaving a bad review about him since he would not reply to me with the information I required from him. I was treated poorly for behavior that could have been avoided if he just took a few minutes to send me the information I needed. 🤷🏻♂️
About that review: I did NOT recant what I said. John told me if I took it down he would consider doing my 2023 taxes. After I removed it he never responded to me again. Totally dishonest in his response to this review. He DID NOT explicitly tell me he would not be doing 2023 taxes. He baited me into deleting the review and left me hanging with no response. Untrustworthy!
Original review:
John blatantly ignored multiple emails I sent requesting my tax information. Required it for an important meeting at an IRS location, otherwise it wouldn’t have been that big of a deal. Was treated poorly for saying something about it. Left hanging on 2023 taxes, as he decided he “didn’t want to work for me anymore.”
He communicated very well while selling me his service. He did perform his functions that I hired him to do well. Maybe you won’t have the same problem I did.

I worked with Dave to recoup contract monies that were owed to me. The contract person within the organization tried to coerce me into accepting not getting paid for a majority of the contract hours, despite the fact that they were entirely valid. Dave was a huge help in taking over the direct conversations and pressing for the organization to make good on the contract. Despite it being a juggernaut organization, Dave helped me get all of the contract money owed. Without his help, this outcome probably would have been impossible, and the issue CERTAINLY wouldn't have been resolved anywhere near as quickly and painlessly as it was... I have known Adam Beckman for about 15 years. 12 years ago he represented me in a challenging situation and produced great results. Adam is very straightforward, a "No beat around the bush" type of lawyer. He is very thorough when explaining to a client what the options are and how to get those results. I find his fees to be fair based on the results achieved.The Beckman Law Firm is prompt in it's communication from the top down. His staff is very courteous and knowledgeable.
Today we closed a case involving my son who is incarcerated outside the State of Colorado. That made it challenging. Adam accomplished exactly what he said was possible. Kathryn was a terrible lawyer.
I originally talked to Jenn on the phone and was impressed. I ended up with Kathryn, she did nothing but collect a paycheck. Took my case to pre trial for absolutely no reason, as I would’ve been happy pleading out early in the case. She was rude, condescending when spoken with, never responded to messages, I waited a month after requesting an updated bill to get a bill from two months ago. I wish I would’ve gone on AVVO and read the reviews of her.
Spot on!
Run as fast as you can from her representation. What a waste of time and money.

I met Carl through a mutual friend. I have needed to put together my will, etc... for several years, and have procrastinated long enough. Carl took all my information, asked all the right questions, explained to me what I could and could not do, and was helpful through the whole process.

In September, I was T-boned by a driver who ran a red light and hit me at 50 mph. The driver was found at fault, and I began working with their insurance company, GEICO. Unfortunately, the experience with their adjustor was frustrating and stressful.
They initially offered me $2,200 to cover medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering—on top of my car’s replacement value.
