Scarlett and her staff are grade A top notch folks. We are very thankful for this office. It was a long 3 yr battle that she very easily could have walked away from but she stood by our side and helped us and guided us through every step along the way. Called to seek an estate planning attorney for a large estate, as well as for potential litigation in another urgent matter. Was told a lawyer would call me back. Days later, no call was received. My husband called and no one returned his call either. It will be one week tomorrow that the courtesy of a return phone call was not received. I would never trust or recommend an attorney who doesn't treat you like someone worth their time. Even more is the fact we are all University of Dayton alumni.

We recently engaged Adam to help on a property damage insurance issue. He worked with us and the insurance company, resulting in a very unexpected outcome of receiving much more from insurance than we could have hoped for, and sooner than expected. Please understand companies will pay for references on here and have others friends an family so rate their company. They're cut throats. Please understand you will be told whatever to your face...they put in play paperwork to get what they want in fees. My mistake was falling for my lawyers nice guy act and trusting him during his fee negotiations when we were settling the case. I'd have them sign and write out their actual fees.... I worked hard on my case as an individual, and updated them. I usually attempt to do the lawyers job in general during a case. I was screwed everyone was wrote their checks and paid before me. I am still not paid because my lawyer said he would take less than me I refuse to pick up the check because that was a lie. So they're out for money, that big office creates a hole filled by your misfortunes that you barley make anything off of. So if you get 4900 they get 6100.
I'm very savvy, I'd usually said I need that in writing. This time I didn't they took my money.
I plan on contacting the bar as anyone should because these guys barley had any time in my case it's robbery. Not mention my work I had in it, and the suffering an lose.
If you take a pack of gum your going to jail for 30days and 500 dollar fine. These guys can screw people out of thousands.
My reading comprehensive rate is 99% according to some test. I have money.
These guys will run tables on the average person. An someone who cannot afford it. It's horrible.

My family and I have a very complicated legal matter and a long road ahead. Mr. Rigg is Standup Lawyer. He has restored my trust in lawyers. The first time we spoke was a Friday afternoon. He informed me that he wanted to do further research before giving me any advice pin how we should proceed. I surely thought I wouldn't hear back from him until the following week if I heard back at all. I was completely off, he returned my call at 5pm on a Friday. Benjamin Rigg helped my husband and I with an issue we had with our landlord. He sent a letter on legal letterhead and provided legal advice on what our next steps should be in small claims court. I can't say enough good things about Jeff!! I had a horrible experience with my landlord - my apartment flooded and they refused to return my security deposit. Jeff was able to help me get out of my apartment the right way, and fought for me to get much more than my original deposit due to the delay and other issues. His paralegal is amazing too! My lawyer and his paralegal Laura were simply amazing. I was in a time crunch with garnishments coming out of both me and my husbands paychecks and they worked so hard and rushed getting our paperwork done to stop out garnishments in the same week! They communicated every need they had and everything with detail on what we still needed to provide to them in a very timely manor and even offered to meet with us on the weekend to make sure all paperwork could be filed asap. She meet with me for maybe 20-30 minutes and only cared if I owned my home, how much it cost, how much money I made, and my job title. She had no interest in me as a mother. Now my child is living with a herion addict uncle and a pill popping and pot smoking grandmother. All because they have hand me down money. I am suing and filing many complaints. The injustice needs to stop and they need to start doing what’s in the child best interest.

If I could give her 0 stars I would. She shouldn’t be practicing. She goes where the money is and who paid her. She was terrible. She meet with me for maybe 20-30 minutes and only cared if I owned my home, how much it cost, how much money I made, and my job title. She had no interest in me as a mother. Now my child is living with a herion addict uncle and a pill popping and pot smoking grandmother. All because they have hand me down money. I am suing and filing many complaints. The injustice needs to stop and they need to start doing what’s in the child best interest.
